27yrs I've been a loader operator and national trainer assessor. Excellent. 1. Operating at full noise 2. Very close to truck. 3. Digging straight and loading on the artic 4. No wheel spin 5. Full buckets. 6. Keeping a good floor. And doing it consistently. 👍👍👍👍👍 5 thumbs
He curls too fast. I run 992 988 Cats i force it in drag my bucket up flat and curl at the end. Packs in better and the curl tops it at the end. No one does that..unless you have seen it.
So back in the day I ran a brand new 988 FE Cat loader for an entire season doing exactly this but in the high desert of Wyoming. Like this loader, it was a power house. It was a joy all day long except for a screaming hydraulic pump. It gave me my first migraine at 20 yrs of age. I doubled up on my hearing protection. Made the noise 30% better. You can sure hear the noisy bastard in this great film. 50 years and no improvement in the noise. Kudos to this operator. He's a hand.
That operator is worth his weight in gold, - Not a movement wasted, revs kept just right, that machine will last like that, less downtime needed - tight, neat and very quick operation, - he must save the company loads in fuel alone every week, - I hope he is suitably rewarded, people like that are hard to find nowadays. Any firm would employ him and he could command top dollar wages. The trucks couldn't even keep up with him and he was moving the absolute minimum.
Couldn't agree more!!! It's nice to know there are still guys out there that take pride in mastering there trade, this man did it!! I could sit here and watch him eat that entire stock pile up!
The truck drivers have been schooled of the process. Loader is spotted ,you back under the bucket. Loader man is raising the bucket as he backs out of the pile ( seen so many wait til they make the motion to the truck )then in a fluid motion starts dumping before he reaches the edge of the bed . They’ve got it going on as a team. I’ve seen a few other Videos of guys operating as they are but not many. Great team work!!!!
A lesson for any would be loader operators right there, close V pattern, minimal time mucking around in the face, not waisting time in the face to get the bucket 100%+ full, fluid motion for the whole cycle. Another great Vid Ken even if there is no scoops!
Yes, a very good operator, but also a lot of tech in that machine to make him/it efficient. He digs and dumps, but the bucket returns to level and plane automatically. I fear it is only a matter of time until it is 100% automated.
The dumper drivers are the hitch in the process here. No wheel spin on the loader, quick cycle time, three pass loads even with a slightly empty bucket.
Good operator, good machine! It is amazing how fast the 993 is. Machines this big are usually much slower. I like the way he gets the trucks to back into the pile so that spillage does not need to be cleaned up. Very efficient work cycle too. I wonder what the production is in tons per hour.
The 994 is a lot slower. There's a video on youtube somewhere of a 993 and a 994 loading trucks next to each other and the 993 is running circles around the 994. There's also some tech in this machine that really helps - automatic raise to dump button and an automatic return to dig button. And locking clutch/engine speed so he only needs to use the clutch to slow down then it goes back up to what ever RPM it's set to.
56pw you are spot on . That empty truck should have given the loaded truck a wide berth and come in on his off side, followed him out and come straight under the loader . The trucks are slowing the big fella down A little I feel .
I've never fully understood why the wings are on the sides of the bucket? Is it just to keep material from falling on the machine or to limit depth of digging into the stockpile? I've seen them on other machines in other videos and thought I'd ask.
Man So Cal you guys rock, awesome footage of gravel being loaded and handled. No music to listen to just the sound of the wheel loader and the sound of the gravel hitting the truck bed. How many pounds or tons per load were loaded?
This guy is good! Id default the tranny to second gear and get rid of that lurch during the direction changes. Second gear cushions that out and just downshift to first when the bucket edges into the pile. It sure makes for along day with that shock every f/r change.
I work in lines similar to this and any dumper or lorry not sing off the same song sheet as me . always gets my Dum ass bastard of the day award . don't matter were you are there's always one . excellent driving from loader operator
I operated the 2nd one of those 993's to be put into actual production in North America. Very nice machine to say the least
As a Machine Operator. This guy is a really really good driver. deserves his pay and then some.

Имею честь работать на таком погрузчике 9 лет. Наработка -более 50 тысяч моточасов. Отличная машина

Christopher Lovelock I completely agree with you! it is fantastic to see him loading, simply perfect
Thank-you. I think I would call it 'poetry in motion'.

You know they have a good team together he doesn't even have to blow the horn for the drivers they know every move together
@@christopherlovelock9104 more like porn
that's the way ,great operator. on forward , bucket immediately down and no material bobbling around on lift.
Having worked this stuff all my life I recognize that the whole crew seem well trained !These are the kind of guys you want to hire!
These guys have lots of experience
My cup of tea
Both drivers and operator great skills
Great operator low in the pile minimal travel getting the trucks in fast that's a pleasure to watch

Any kids watching this video this is the way it's done. I know this ain't blasted rock but still he is a smooth operator
Such a good operator, moves that monster around like hes drivin a car
Bigger is a machine, easier is it to drive...
operator knows what he is doing, setting up the trucks and working close to the pile of material
Nice video like everyone says these guys know what they are doing regards from retired loader driver in the uk. 👍🚜

Great angle video
This guy is definitely worth his money, very smooth driving.
That operator is spot on very little tire revolution and not spilling material that's how it's done right there text book operator right there
I don't think youve ever had a vid with a crappy operator. Great video
amazing operator!
Thats how it's done. Hat's off for the operators, beautiful smooth motion. Looks so easy. :)
thequattlooks easy because it is easy
funny guy :)
The loader driver yes good operator, the trucks far too slow spotting under the 993 ...

Damn that loader is way quicker than the 990h's that i used to operate
Hard on the tran break more like.

Very good!
It's called the V 45 angles done it with rock 2 minute loads ..nice work guys
Been there , done that.... good operator
I think I could do that. The 980 I ran has the tranny setup and the 115 had the wobble stick. Cats are cats pretty much. Good operator and good video!
Lewie McNeely huge difference between a 980 and 993, trust me
...so amazing to watch at 42 years old...
Not Lyin’ good operator. Best I’ve seen in a while
Good job
Buen palista .Si señor.🤩🤩🙋♂️
I ran a CAT 980-C for 12 years. Loading trucks fun. Loading trucks plus running a screening plant not fun! Nice video!

🤣😂😂😂😂
Boys and girls this is how it's done perfect to a t
That's how it's done right there
Super!
Buen palista ,si señor.👍👍👍😂🙋♂️
Watch the tires they don't even make a full revolution, pretty efficient!!!
Made me look
Baya máquina.Jobar de lo mejorcito.Dioos.🙈😂🙋♂️
Efficient driving is something different
Great Video, That 993K is a monster !! And is that road base material ?? And Thank you for posting this !!!!
Excellent, "game recognizes game". Good to see someone one UA-cam NOT operating like a frightened turtle. Good job. A+. IUOE Local 15
Also ,That could of been bad at 5:48... A little bit of patience by the truckies goes along way! The loader operator is textbook.
56pw you are spot on . That empty truck should have given the loaded truck a wide berth and come in on his off side, followed him out and come straight under the loader . The trucks are slowing the big fella down A little I feel .
nice video awome video by he cat more videos of thi monter pleae!!
Dahora equipamento muito bom 😄🤘

They are not really much use in this matl. Used when loading shot rock as it kicks the rocks clear of the tires path hopefully reducing cuts.
Man So Cal you guys rock, awesome footage of gravel being loaded and handled. No music to listen to just the sound of the wheel loader and the sound of the gravel hitting the truck bed. How many pounds or tons per load were loaded?

CAT sound ^.^

Very big monster
Que bkn el video, yo que daria la oportunidad de trabajar en un lugar como ese sobre tido por que amo la maquinaria seria tan feliz en ese lugar.
Wonder what type of material that is
I've been a heavy equipment operator for 15 years boy would like to work there
That's a lot of gravel and road base material being handled and loaded by the excavator and the operator.
Cat
Git'n r done.
Just feel the sounds of the engine make me sleep... Fuck so smooth
Super smooth. Where is this? The USA?
Uno de los operadores de los 777, o triple 7, un peligro
Caterpillar machines rule the earth 🌍
What was the material they were moving?
is that a KPI stacker?
God man can that move it.
Did you see how fast the boom went down holy shit
I know cat upped the yardage on the 775 over the 73’s but by what ? And the 93 over the 92c’s I believe we had 13.5 on our 92c’s
Thank god for the the Operators union in the comments, what would we do without armchair operators.
1.5 tire rotations !
the loader feeding the crusher looks like more fun.
miner360 just as boring
What freeway? Are there any large 994s in the area that you know of?
generationll I am pretty sure this is on the Boulder City bypass project in Southern Nevada.
top
Meu sonho é trabalhar com uma máquina dessa
Q: what is that on the side of the loaders bucket ?
walkerd73 those are to push the material outside the path of the front tires do not to tear them up
Gostei do trabalho da máquina ainda quero ter uma oportunidade de trabalhar com uma dessa
I work in lines similar to this and any dumper or lorry not sing off the same song sheet as me . always gets my Dum ass bastard of the day award . don't matter were you are there's always one . excellent driving from loader operator
wow! that's big bulldozer :D
