I'm happy for Bruce and Melissa. They got a second chance at love and happiness. Bruce shuts that dinner down and shows Renee isn't as special as everyone thinks she is. The fact Melissa's own parents tried to comfort her shows what kind of parents they are. I agree with Melissa. None of this is Bruce's fault. What's going on in her family is called favoritism. That whole family wraps around Renee and they can't stand when Melissa does better than her. Bruce is showing them Renee's true color and she's not what they think. Her true colors. Most importantly, he's showing her the world does not revolve around her. Just because that family put her on a pedestal doesn't mean people in the real world are going to treat her that way. The way she acts at the company and treats Melissa, that's not how the world works. Bruce had every right to fire Renee. She lied on her resume and her behavior was uncalled for. It's no wonder she got fired and can't find a job. Yet Melissa's father wants to blame her for Renee's downfall. Saying he owes Renee's father and Melissa owes Renee. Owe them what? The fact is that he favors Renee over his own daughter. The fact that he can't see or understand he ruined his father-daughter relationship with Melissa because he's playing favorites with his niece. Blaming and hitting Melissa for everything just because Renee brought all this on herself and not realizing he's part of the problem. Well if he doesn't love or care for Melissa then she doesn't need him either.
Refreshing! Delightful! Romantic! Beautiful! Heartwarming! Wow! This is one of the best stories I have listened/watched. After 1000s of cheating ones, finally a faithful husband who only believes his wife. Love it! Need more like these.
