Sounds a bit like a dulcimer. Pair up the 2 lightest gauge strings so it is 3-course, remove the chromatic frets so that only the diatonic frets remain, and you have a dulcimer

How did you get it to have the banjo sound ?
Is it a matter of each build has its own voice or can you force it to sound more like a guitar or a banjo by the structure & style of how it's built ?
