I love my F1 for my coasters but i use a clear sealant on the coaster before i engrave using the IR etc...i also love the effect you can get on black acrylic when you use the scoring method...it comes out so white....i use these setting...70x40
I thought about getting the F1 myself too, but then was torn between the D1 Pro and just getting the UV laser also so that I have a larger workspace. Have you tested yet the depth of engraves with it yet?
No, I’ve not really done anything where depth would be desired. I’ll need to check that out at some point, but right now surface engraves are all I need.

Did the coaster come out with a shade of gray or is it white as MagsSubbly says ?
They were commenting about acrylic, which I’ve not done yet.
