I think that the offensive fire power of Dame and CJ will be enough to win a game or two. At the very least, make the series interesting as we saw last night.
As a Warriors fan, I'd say CJ and Dame are better drivers to the basket. That's how those 2 went for 50+ in the half. Steph and Klay are better shooters. After all, the top 5 record of most 3's in a regular season is owned by the Splash brothers.
Despite whoever won Game 1, this was a good game.

damian and cj are a better fit with the blazers than steph and klay would. dame is arguably a better scorer and cj is possibly a better scorer than klay. only thing that steph and klay would bring is defense, and that's coming from klay, steph's awful defense just might neutralize that. dame and cj never get their credit, disgusting how much disrespect they get.
Damian and CJ are terrific players but you're crazy if you think they are better than Steph and Klay.. Curry is a 2 time MVP and Klay has been All NBA for like the past three seasons.There's a reason why everyone says they are one of the best backcourt in NBA history. The problem here is Portland don't have enough depth. Lillard and CJ are Savage but need some bench players so they dont always be on court. It looked like they were tired in the 4th.
If the Blazers get a decent pick this year in the draft or sign a guy from the mold of a Jae Crowder (a guy who can space the floor and defend the opposing wing), they will be tough to stop next year. Especially with the development of Nurkic and CJ, we already know what Lillard is capable of. They just have to add a "D and 3" wing, and a few more pieces to the bench and I have a lot of confidence they can cause an upset in the playoffs. I trust Terry Stotts as well, that man can coach.
If Cleveland wins tonight, Game 1 was classic point shaving by the Cavs... If Indy wins tonight then that means Indy was suppose to win Game 1 but choked... Cleveland laid down in the 4th and Indy still couldnt take advantage of it... Also the point spread could be a key factor to tell who will win...

I think portland can really pulled this off. They missed so many wide open 3's, lay-ups, and 2's the other night..and they still was right there through 3.5 quarters.So if they just make those shots...you never know..It's all mental movin forward..They need the Big too...
In last year's playoffs the Warriors went 4-1 vs Portland with Harrison Barnes ( without KD) and Curry playing only 2 games due to injury. Portland does not match up well with GS.

I live in Oregon, I work for the moda center, I see those guys all the time and talk with them. Cj and Dame are exactly what this team needs. Put Klay and Steph on this blazer team, they don't make the playoffs. This team isn't built to shoot lights out from three or run up the score. This team is built to run with teams like golden state and keep it interesting. Dame is a bigger player than Steph in terms of muscle mass, Damian lillard is benching more than Stephen curry no doubt. Cj is just a slasher who can pull up from anywhere and can create his own shot. Klay Thompson is a pure stop and pop shooter, he knows where he needs to go to get open and isn't much of a slasher but occasionally he does get to the basket just not as consistent or as good as cj.

They actually have the #1 winning record since they gotten him going 17-6 technically 18-5 if it wasn't for the ref giving the wizards call of Morris's foot on out of bounds slide causing them that game against the wizards, I don't like Portland trust me but they are a different team with nurkic. I didn't understand why they traded him first for Plumlee when Plumlee was a great passer but nurkic is aggressive and offensively good, it wasn't hard to notice and they even beat San Antonio with him. I guarantee the Spurs are happy they didn't get #1 seed to face them if he didn't get hurt.

If Curry and Klay were on the blazers (subbing out Lillard and CJ)...blazers would be better... Curry and Klay just compliment each other better and play better fundamental basketball. For example, some of the shots Lillard was jacking up were ill-advised.
Skip a damn fool thinking that Steph and Klay can match the Dame and CJ. Klay is mainly a catch and shoot type of SG with slightly above average at best playmaking abilities. Dame and CJ have more offensive skills in their repertoire than the combination of Steph and Klay.
