Especially for Francine, unquestionably.
It's amazing how educational kids shows always seem to say that Bats are rodents when they're not related to rodents at all lol.
That's funny, this episode was showing on PBS yesterday and I've wondered if you had done it yet or not lol
6:06 The scream got me dying🤣🤣
How come no one makes fun of muffy for being disgusted and scared from the bats and cave Too!
Fear economic reprisal, unquestionably.
You should have named this: "THE FIRST OPTION."
I was VERY tempted 😂
“Those vampire bats will give you a fright
Eating apples both day and night
They rest for a minute, maybe three
Then they’re eating every apple in your apple tree
They don’t care about nada
Not zilch, no nothing
Cept bring about an orchards destruction”
I think francine was trying to hide her own fear by teasing Arthur as much as she did in this episode. She could have been nice about it and bond with Arthur over their shared fear, but that emotion is foreign to her.
Hypocrisy inspired cruelty, unquestionably.
DW and Francine are pathetic in this episode trying to scare Arthur of being scared of the dark.
Yet Francine is the one scared of bats. HYPOCRITE
@@baperwhi True. Even though being scared of bat is understandable till you get to know them. Random animals like bats are nothing to play with.
5:37. i see one of the designers watched Empire Strikes Back when doing this scene.
Also I don’t see Arthur universe version of Nikola Tesla
I wonder what happened to him 🤔
People don’t usually learn about Nikola Tesla’s existence until at least high school, just like how we don’t usually learn how bad Christopher Columbus was until high school, which is why when Binky gave his report on Columbus in “Buster’s Growing Grudge” (a fantastic FU Buster episode), Binky said how he admired Christopher Columbus
@ well unless is Record of Ragnarok where Nikola Tesla was in Humanity fighters than Thomas Edison
He’s probably a bear like Edison or aardvark

😂
Matt Neff is seriously giving me YMS (Your Movie Sucks) vibes.

One thing I like about this episode, is nobody has any patience for DW, her actions have pretty much no weight, Arthur’s just done with her shit.
Experience aged him, unquestionably.
Dave ran away from basement because he saw his twin chained up and that is fed a bucket of fisheads weekly
Fu Mr. Ratburn for being hypocritical by punishing Arthur with writing a letter of apology to Sue Ellen for teasing her about her sweater but not doing anything when he's picked on.
Apparently, he learned a lesson from, Dave, and, Jane, such terrible parents.
DW should not be making fun of Arthur's fear of darkness when she's very likely just as scared of it, considering half the episodes with her are literally being afraid of something.
And get along with each other. I don't know why they put that in the song.Because arthur does not get along with his sister or Francine.
For delightful hypocrisy, unquestionably.
PBS having Arthur's 18 year old VA record a scream is redundant. Using an old recorded scream of Arthur would've worked fine. It worked for Finn in Adventure Time, where they used the same scream over and over, and never gets old.
9:02 Ratburn death stare
Image someone use it as a Meme
👀
I love when characters do the death stare XD it's the best thing ever
Exactly
@@akirayamaguchithekitsune4010 like we need to make it happen
I would laugh at Francine too if I was them
I've actually been in a cave and a mine. So i know what im talking about when i say I'd have no trouble trapping them in a cave or mine. Or better yet trap them in creepy mine tunnel with Rouge the bat.exe hunting them down.
1:40 I’m pretty sure Arthur says Aaaahhhh!!!! Someone turned on the lights! Instead of turned off the lights lol
NEW VIDEO LETS GOOOOOOOOO I WAS BINGE WATCHING FU DW YESTERDAY SO THIS IS GREAT
I liked when Arthur had a deep voice.
Constant actor replacement, unquestionably.
Loved the episode. You know, I’ve personally wanted to riff this like you for a long time. I even had an idea for a cut-a-way joke: during the scene When Mister Ratburn and Francine scream and scare the bats, I’d cut to a scene from Batman begins [Which one? There were surprisingly more bats in that movie, than in any other Batman film, so idk; maybe the one at Arkham Asylum.] or maybe that opening scene from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Also a continuity mistake: D.W. Was in a cave and was even hanging from a stalactite, during a flash back on of of Arthur’s vacations in The grandpa Dave’s farm episode.
@@adamo6250 Maybe the vacation in the cave happened after Arthur’s field trip in the cave. Not all episodes are in chronological order.
(sees thumbnail and shudders) And they were already scary before the costumes now this is just nightmare fuel. Actually no the costumes are really an improvement
Incarceration's even better, unquestionably.
Binky- the true hero of this episode
Muffy and Francine are infinite threats. Muffy is demanding, and Francine is condescending. Muffy whines about grossness, and Francine is a coward. Muffy is an elitist, and Francine thinks everyone is a wimp. Muffy has a voice like nails on a chalkboard, and Francine runs her mouth.
love matt neff content and really want to see that arthur's missing pal, only like 2.8k off
So close!
I loved making cave replicas in school. I wanted to be a miner when I was little then so I could find all the gems out there. I filled my replica with fake gems. Ironically my father was a miner in college 😅
1:03 And let’s not forget…..
“Antonio Meucci invented the Telephone and he got robbed!……..”
Elisha Gray also, unquestionably.
1:40 If you never pointed that out, I would have died thinking it was D.W. screaming.
@matt neff, you should do another FU Francine video of the episode, Feeling Flush, one of my favorites in Arthur.
