Benagil Cave & Trying Portuguese Food in the Algarve 🇵🇹 Carvoeiro Caves Tour, Portugal

- Visiting one of the most iconic spots in the Algarve, Portugal, Benagil Cave & trying typical Portuguese food and drink: pão com choriço, steak on a stone, Algarve orange juice, and of course pastel de nata!
We started our day with a wonderful cave tour with CarvoieroCaves.com, starting by passing the Carvoeiro Boardwalk and Algar Seco with its dramatic limestone formations. Here we saw A Boneca, a cave ending with a window out to the ocean. We also got to sail right into some extraordinary caves, including the renowned Benagil cave with its collapsed roof and interior beach.
After the Carvoeiro Caves boat tour we headed over to Portimão to try some delicious Portuguese baked goods as recommended to us by our waiter from the previous evening. Praia do Carvalho was next on our list with its unique entrance down some steps through a cave but as the sun was rapidly going down we didn't stay too long. Instead we headed back to Carvoeiro for a phenomenal sunset and a delicious Portuguese dinner of steak on a hot plate. Damn good!

So cool you were able to see so much from the water! It's always so fun when you're able to get on a boat and see some amazing beauty from the that perspective. We can't get over how the boat was able to navigate those caves so well, we would have been so nervous that at any moment you'd hear an awful sound of boat-on-rock scrapping. Looks like an amazing time guys, great share!

You have them all over Portugal.
You can choose meat type and size.
Pão com choriço also there is all over the country, and the best are the ones made in wood oven. You can see them being made in big trucks with this oven's.
In Lisbon many of them work during all night, for people leaving night live to eat before going home..

Man, I could REAAALLY go for a pastel de nata right about now. The truth I've been ashamed to say is: I missed Benagil Caves because I got to caught up in Lagos' party scene. Mistakes were made. Looked incredible! Thanks for the consolation prize, Loz!
