a day in my life as an au pair | CaliforNOA

Being an au pair is different from all the things I have done in my life so far. It is hard- of course, it is! You are going to be responsible for small kids who are always adventures and not aware of risks. You are going to become a part of a different family and might feel homesick every now and then. BUT (and there’s a big but!) you are going to build an incredible relationship with some small humans you can all most call your own kids…
I’d personally have never thought that I would feel that way for those kids. But I do. I love them with all my heart and it hurts imagine to leave them here…
In this video, I will let you be part of my experience as an au pair in the states.
I started my year on January 15th and now I am finally done with being an au pair. What an amazing experience! I won’t lie: I had moments when I regretted my decisions but now, when I look back, it was the best year of my life.
