DS3, it's just so special I love everything about it, the levels, the bosses, weapons, spells everything is just great. In my opinion the best boss quality in the series
Ds2 had some pretty good bosses in the DLC. Fume Knight, Burnt Ivory King, Sir Alonne. Even if they weren't the best well-designed, you can't deny seeing bosses like Ivory King appear out of a portal from Hell isn't cool af.
@@Dalto_ Pursuer, smelter demon, lost sinner, rotten, looking glass knight, velstadt these are good bosses which are more than dark souls 1 but you should keep in my ds2 being a big game of course it has more bad bosses than ds1
@@Dalto_bro what? base game of ds2 has great bosses. they aren’t like the best or anything but they have some great ones. pursuer, old dragonslayer, lost sinner, smelter demon, looking glass knight, velstadt, dark lurker? these are all A tier at worst. if you think those aren’t great then you are probably doing something wrong. not even to mention the great bosses in the dlc. i’m starting to wonder if you even played the game. you obviously still have your opinion but you can’t just blindly hate on this game because you suck at it. the level design is great overall as well.
@@firetitan19 I have fully completed it and I still have this opinion, I don't hate the game at all I just don't think they are close to A tier. just saying "You're hating cuz you suck" is such a bad mentality to have when you don't have any arguments. Just let me have my opinion and I'll let you have yours. I never claimed my opinion is the right only one to have, quite the opposite actually
I love the level design of dark souls 1. I think there's something magical about everything looping back on itself with so much verticality and no need for a map. If they made a dark souls remake, I'd want them to rework some of the bosses to have more varied movesets and also to try and rework areas like Lost Izalith and the Demon Ruins. Personally if I were to remake Dark Souls, my goal would be for fast travel to not be needed at all. After looking at the 3D model of the map, I think you could have the tomb of giants connect to the abyss because they already clip into each other and you could have the tomb of giants easily connect to quelaag's domain with some minor adjustments (you can already get from the abyss to the Lord Vessel room because of Kaathe so that's already a way back to firelink). This would remove most of the backtracking from the lord soul boss rooms which required fast travel to exist in the first place and I think you could expand the crystal caves a little bit (because it's a fairly small area as it is) and you could easily have it loop back to Sen's Fortress. The one issue for backtracking would be the bed of chaos but my solution to that would be to reorient Ash Lake and the entrance to the bed of chaos so that you can get from one to the other. They're already at the same level and Lost Izalith is filled with those trees at Ash lake so it makes perfect sense for the world. I'm sure there's other QoL ways to remove backtracking in places like blight town such as expanding the valley of drakes into a full area that connects to way more areas.
My ranking: S: Elden Ring - Great game all around, my favourite game of all time currently, may get even more elevated when the DLC arrives DS3 - Used to be my favourite until recently, Elden Ring took over. Definitely still love this game to pieces, though. A: Dark Souls 2 - This one might be controversial, but I actually like this game. It has huge atmosphere and character, and although ADP is a damn bad addition, I like the combat overall. Somehow, it grew on me. B: Dark Souls 1 - It shows its wear. Movement is clunky, and although areas are interconnected and interesting, the boss quality is, in main game, good at best, but horrible at worst. 2nd half of the game drags it down a lot. Sekiro - While the combat flow might be the best in the entire series, the things bringing the game down for me is the lack of variety and the style of the game. It's beautiful, just... Not for me, I guess C: other games - Haven't played them, I don't own a console.

Demon Souls is available on PC via the ps3 emulator. It runs really well.
