I saw it in an old sexteto habanero video. I know it’s done on the conga too. You can hear the sound on ‘people make the world go round’ by the Stylistics. Thanks

What about the 12/8 riffs that mix 3/4 and 4/4, i.e., 1--45-7-910-- or -23--6-8--1112 like in Everybody Wants to Rule The World?
