Greg Davies's father made sure that his son was born on Welsh soil so that when Greg became a rugby international, he would play for Wales. Fortunately for comedy, Greg showed little talent for rugby, but he retains a sense of connection to his Welsh roots and, two years after his dad's death, wants to know more about them. Greg gets more than he bargained for when he identifies a wayward great-grandfather but is rewarded when the trail leads further back to the deepest Welsh roots anyone could wish for.

What a gal.... and to be so honest about who her dad was. Telling the truth, but not bad mouthing him either. So happy Greg got to meet her.
What i find fascinating is they have a very similar sense of humour - they got each other's jokes almost before even getting to the punchlines and they bounced off of each other so well. Amazing!

60’s isnt old. I’m in my 60’s. Look at my profile pic or any of my videos! She looks late 70’s, 77, 78.
She was in her 80’s when this was filmed.

Travel, you're right. I think she has a Judi Dench sass to her as well.
She looks 60 and laughs like one. She has made time stopped.
But we can see that she has humor. I think that is one of the source of her youth

I totally agree. She is just wonderful and I suspect her loveliness is a testament to her mother. William may not have been wonderful but his descendants (at least some of them) have proven to be nice people.

That Evan really looks like Greg. It's really amazing and wonderful to see him identify with the family he belongs to. Him and his half great aunt's family really are like peas in a pod. Terrific program. I love how people like Greg open themselves up to the audience.

I did my family’s ancestry and found out my grandpa who is 87 has a aunt who is the same age and still alive. Pretty crazy. You find out good and bad stuff that was one of the good things.
