I could watch this all day and I'll be coming back to watch again when I get my rear blade and tackle my winter-worn driveway! Thanks for sharing, Ben :)
I find myself again watching this video and enjoying it once again. The finish result if outstanding just like the sound of the blade scraping the material.
I found a real nice used blade for $175.00 maybe used once. I have the same tractor and just had more stone delivered. I need to smooth some areas out, after watching this i am sure my set up will do the job 👍👍
Great video, this is exactly why you can never have too many tractors and too many implement choices....If i could only have one rear dirt moving attachment it would be a good rear straight blade like this....luckily i have several choices after many years of trading and buying ..i use them all on driveways depending on what i am wanting or needing to do at the time. Great example of a small machine using a light duty rear blade to do an excellent job with an experienced operator on board...
You done a very good job on your drive way.No more ruts or mud to deal with.Looks like things are starting to turn green, hay season is just around the corner.Have a blessed day and be SAFE.🚜💯👏👍❤️🙏
I need to do the same thing to my driveway! Winter has destroyed it. Those little BX tractors are nice to use on things like this. Keep up the good work!
Appreciate the tips! It may not be as "fancy" as a box blade, but the rear blade seems to be a very versatile tool. I have a box blade on order, but think a rear blade is going to be something I add to my short list. Have a great day!
You definitely need both in my opinion, just make sure if you get an angle blade that it will tilt also for ditching. This blade won’t but my big one does. Thanks for watching!
Looked pretty nice there! We still have 2 feet of snow here, and more on the way tomorrow. You did a good job on the driveway. Before you know it you'll be cutting grass. The Kubota and blade work well together. Take care
Where did you get the light bar for the bx? I think it’s the same one I bought for the M series. You make that bx to be about as handy as a pocket on a shirt! Looks like things are starting to warm up down there.! I may keep an eye out for a used rear blade I think I could find some use for it. Hoping to find a bigger dump truck too.
Looks good Ben. I work our gravel driveway when the gravel migrates to the outside edges. I use a six foot blade with a 32 hp tractor. My technique is very similar to yours. I get lots of compliments on my driveway. It's 1600 ft. long. The only time I use a box is when the delivery driver gets them a little thick in one spot. I use 1/2 in. clean rock
How do you make that work with humps and valleys . I have a newer driveway that needs smoothing but with the varying heights the blade wants to dig in hard or not hit at all when in valleys
Hi how are you doing hope you’re doing well you know I have a John Deere tractor a 2038R I just bought a frontier back blade for it I’m very happy I have a hydraulic tap link on mine you should see if you can get one for your Kabota it would save you a lot of trouble but great video I enjoy watching
@@khtractors I understand but that’s one of the things I wanted to do when I purchased my tractor I put rear remote and front that’s good that you want to do it with the big tractor you will like it I love mine I’m glad I did it but I just wanted to share that with you
To basically drag things straight behind you and to make a good smooth surface once you have the dirt/gravel positioned where you want it. Lots of uses for a good rear blade especially one that tilts to cut ditches and slopes.

I’m looking forward to you finding a good blade! I sure like using mine! Thanks for watching!

Love the sound of grading and watching the material being worked.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you Phil! I really like using this style blade. Thanks for watching!
This answers my question somewhat about the abilities of a subcompact being able to care for a gravel drive. Thanks!
Thanks for watching!
I love my bx2370 those little tractors will surprise you with what you can accomplish!
Yes they can do a good amount of work! Appreciate you watching!
Thanks for the tips on adjusting the rear blade 👍🏻. Have a great week Ben 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Appreciate you watching!
Looks great! Good instructions!
Thank for watching ole buddy!

I agree this style blade is my #1 pick for most jobs. Best case scenario is to have different blades for different tasks. Thanks for watching!

It should last a few more months now hopefully! They say we might reach near 70 by Saturday, I’m ready for spring! Thanks for watching!

They are pretty handy tractors for some jobs. Appreciate you watching!
Wow nice work Ben. We're lucky to get Our road shaped up by May up here. Thanks for sharing.
It was getting pretty bad shape, that upper edge was starting to get muddy. Appreciate you watching!

Hang on John, spring is in the air, ( I will have -28c tonight again 🥶🤣😂👌👍 )
Maybe you can thaw out before too long. This is a good little setup for driveway work. Thanks for watching!
You always do shut an awesome job, very informative
Thank so much for watching!

Clayton bought the light, not sure where it came from. The BX is nice but I do not like the 3 point control setup on them. Appreciate you watching!

Sounds like a good setup to me. These angle blades are the best way to pull gravel from the edges. Thanks for watching!
Super helpful Ben. Thank you Sir!
Appreciate you watching!
Nice job. I’m about to do mine tomorrow.
I hope it turned out well for you! Thanks for watching
Hi Ben ur exactly right on the top link an I like the Kobato lock on there top link
Yes I like it too! Very handy to use when you don’t have an attachment on! Thanks for watching!
Nice work with that BX, Ben! looks good as new!
Thanks so much for watching!

Appreciate that!

I don’t know if you have back functions on your Kabota or not but if you do it would make life a whole lot easier I love mine
This one doesn’t have any rear remotes. I have considered getting one eventually for the bigger Kubota or Farmtrac.
Howdy,
What is the name brand of the rear scraper blade and do you still like it?
It’s a Southern brand. Been a pretty good blade but mostly just get used for snow. Thanks for watching
@@khtractors I should have asked this the first time around but...I have a BX23s. For a rear blade do you recommend a 48" or 60"?
@@chappy2312 I think 60” is your best bet.
BX getting it done🚜👍🏼🪵🇺🇸
It did good! Thanks for watching!
Looks good buddy
Thanks buddy!
@@khtractors you’re welcome
What is the straight blade application use for when the blade isn’t angled left or right just straight?
To basically drag things straight behind you and to make a good smooth surface once you have the dirt/gravel positioned where you want it. Lots of uses for a good rear blade especially one that tilts to cut ditches and slopes.
@@khtractors thank you ! I just got one and I’m having a heck of a time with my gravel driveway. I guess I need practice.
@@intensivemanagement also try back blading on gravel. Using the rear side of the blade keeps it from cutting to much.
What brand and width blade is on video 2 yr ago.
It’s a 5 ft Southern brand.
What size blade is that
5ft. It works good on the BX. Thanks for watching
Good times…
Thanks!
