The Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad

The last week of October, we went on a road trip to Yosemite to celebrate our baby’s first birthday and on the second day we took a ride on the Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad! It was such a cool experience because it takes you on a tour through the forest which includes a narration of the history of the railroad and the area. Note that the train is temporarily closed during the winter months, so we were lucky we had nice weather and it was one of the last train rides of the fall season. They reopen during Spring, just check out their website or social media for updates, but it is definitely worth a visit when you are in the area!
