Petre M. Andreevski (born June 25, 1934, in Sloeshtica Village, Demir Hisar - passed away on September 25, 2006, in Skopje) was a versatile literary figure, celebrated as a poet, novelist, short story writer, and playwright. For many years, he served as a program editor at Macedonian Radiotelevision. He was a distinguished member of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts (MASA) from May 2000, as well as a longstanding member of the Writers’ Association of Macedonia since 1964 and the Macedonian P.E.N. Centre. Andreevski's literary oeuvre encompassed poetry, short stories, novels, plays, and screenplays.
