He's my favorite mostly because of how easy it is to fix his problems. I don't like his big blades that get in the way, so I just take them off, I mean bionicle is all about doing whatever you want with the parts, so I think Hewkii has the most potential

Couldn't choose Jaller simply because Tahu was already there. I'd have picked Kongu Inika, just because he was so representative of his generation. Would also have went great with the blue Piraka because of Bionicle Heroes.
I have to disagree with the top pick. I feel you unfairly picked on the Av-Matoran sets, when you could just as easily apply the same criticisms to ANY of the Matoran sets, as they were ALL very basic, even function-wise. The only matoran that had movement-oriented functions were the 2003 matoran, other than that, every other matoran falls under the same deal as the Av-Matoran. I get where you are coming from, and I also don't think the av-matoran deserve such criticisim when they were supposed to ve secondary sets, so their simplicity is justified, yet I can't forgive the "Star" line that sent off the franchise. They were supposed to be the last, main sets and they were simplistic and boring, such a shame.
@@neitherlink6612 after seeing a few comments saying how horrid the Stars sets are, I decided to look them up I regret doing that. They are as horrid as they say
@Spencer Hayes Indeed. One thing i forgot to mention in my first post, and another factor in favor of the matoran, is their overall importance to the story. They weren't just "helpless villagers", they had their own roles in the universe, and were important in their own way. For example, without Takuas intervention. the Toa Mata would never have arrived on the island of mata-nui. For that matter, if Jaller and his friends hadn't set out on their journey to voya-nui, not only would the Toa Ignika never exist, but the Toa Nuva would forever remain prisoners of the piraka.
I was heated when he chose the ASB- Matoran, wasn’t the point of the sets simplicity? As a kid having Tanma and Photok figures they were very simple instructions and in all honesty I enjoyed them as equally as the Lewa and Pohatu Sets. The Phantoka and Mistika sets also fueled my passion for aviation because to me the flight gimmick made those sets unique.
Hewkii was one of my top favorite bionicles. I love the spikey knee armor, the chains, the two blades on only the right shoulder, and how his right arm IS a gun.
This list seems very subjective. Alternatively, I think this video would have been better if you included more pictures of the actual sets, instead of cartoons and magazine photos...
Turaga Matoro Yes all Mahri got new masks, but Hewkiis is the best in my opinion because it looks very special and cool. Hewkiis weapon is pretty cool. I think the coolest weapons from all Toa Mahri. The Lance he can throw with his gains so that it comes back again. Come on this weapon is really creativ! Kongu has only two blasters, Jaller a sword and Nuparu a shield. Wow how creativ... And Hewkiis color, a combination of yellow and black. Very cool. So do you understand my opinion?
I agree with you to a certain extent. I love the Keet-orange ( I like Keet-orange in general) and black color scheme, his mask is cool, and the only reason I don't like his spear and right shoulder armor is because they became overused. But the actually flaws of the set are why it's on this list.
I think whether a set is bad or not depends on what they were trying to accomplish with it, and whether or not they succeeded. If they wanted Skull Scorpio to actually look like a scorpion, then of course they failed, but that's not what they were going for. He's just a pile of leftover body parts and some other stuff that Kulta glued together in a shape that was never meant to be. It's like all those patchwork monsters in the movie "9."
Honestly, I loved Gali Mistika's design and her mask is actually really cool, my only issue is it doesn't look like Gali's mask to me, the mask looks like it would fit Kopaka or another Ice Toa a lot better. I remember as a kid, I think I renamed this one "Galroy" and treated him like a male Water Toa, because I had Gali Nuva already and still played with her from time to time, so I kinda had a weird wonky kid narrative going on. I remember I combined Axon with Hydraxon and created easily my favorite personal creation of my custom Bionicle career, heheh. ...Damn...I want to pull those things out of storage now.
Radosław Hada Jasikowski Staram się być na bieżąco ze wszystkim w internetach. Tak naprawdę to nie oglądam ich regularnie, po prostu miałem ten filmik w polecanych.
I had Umbra for a short time when I was a kid. And I admit, it was kinda bad because of the feet. But that quickly changed when I removed the wheels off of them. After that, it was awesomeness.
Is it weird if I actually like the Mistika? Granted, they were my introduction to the Toa Nuva, but still, I like the uniqueness of the Masks, especially Tahu, and (believe it or not) I actually like the abundance of silver towards the end, I thought it gave the Toa a darker, more stylized look. But I can tell I'm in the minority on both, so I guess I understand your opinions.
I feel like it was a mistake not having Tahu's mask resemble the Hau in the slightest. It's basically the equivalent of ripping off Mario's hat and mustache. But the Mistaka Makuta were pretty great, though, and it probably helped that they had a theme to follow for their designs (big ol' bugs).
I remember having Toa Mata Nui, I thought he was excellent. I still love him, but you are right about his colour scheme. That golden crotchpiece looks a little out of place.
Personally, I can't find too many sets that I truly dislike. I do agree with some of your choices, like Umbra and Skull Scorpio. Also, in terms of laziness, I would include the Bohrok-Kal. Yes, they looked cool and had nice powers, but other than a printed head and new shield pieces, there was nothing new to their design. At least with other sets, like the Rahaga and Agori, they had a different build and a different mask, giving them a more unique feel. I still like the Bohrok-Kal, but if we are talking about laziness, I think it should be brought up.
Well... not so sure. I'll admit the wheels probably make it hard to pose him, but he seems solid to me. His color scheme, I think, doesn't fail too badly, as black and silver can sort of fade into the background. And, he had glowing eyes, a rhotuka spinner, and glowing swords! That's stuff from 3 different waves, all at once!
I'm beginning to realize I'm in the minority here, but I loved the Bohrok-Kal. There wasn't much that was new to their design, sure, but it brought added interchangeability to the lines. You want a Korahk with regular blue limbs? Boom, you can do that. Want metallic krana on your Va? Boom, you can do that. Between the two Bohrok lines and the added socket options introduced with the Rahkshi later on in the year there were _loads_ of possible color combinations. (That and it's the only line I got mini CDs for, so I got to see all the pretty wallpapers in stunning 1024x768.)
I feel like this list should be the opposite way around, also screw you for specifically targeting my favorite tiny bionicle Solek. Mata Nui was dying so the color schemes tended to be bleaker near the end of the 'toa era'. The mask of life was Gold when it was first introduced along with the Baraki, but then turned to silver as life in the bionicle universe faded.
I'm Also Like Bohrok Va Too Along With Toa Metru Nui,Mahri Hewkii,Umbra,Mistika Gali,And What I'm Love Is Av-Matoran & Agori I'm Olny Hate Is Skull Scorpio,Krekka,Rahaga And Stars SkrallThe TTV Channel Is Really Going Badly For Some Video
I liked the AV-Matoran build, they were neat affordable sets that kids could get easily, the Agori were colorful and had cool weapons and Helmet designs too. They weren't meant to be like the more complex builds like the Toa or Makuta LEGO sets.
I don't get the whole rage about the Av Matoran I have the three of them and they look cool with there respective toa, they are simple but they complement the toa, I find the Voyatoran worst but thats just my opinion.
Saul Alejandro May Hernandez They made for a really fun play feature when combined with their matching Toa/Makuta, but on their own, they're an immense simplification of designs that already were fairly simple to begin with.
Ughh, the voyatoran. When I was younger I liked to imagine they were spit out of an assembly line in hell. I wasn't too surprised to learn from the lore that was basically the case.
I love the Rahaga, their designs are great. I don't get how reused parts is a complaint, when you can get the staffs and masks you missed out on with the rahkshi. And all the pieces they come with are GREAT for building, especially the little connecter bits. And they look so cool when you put them next to the rahski. Rahaga are probably the best little sets actually.
Hewkii mahri has always been one of my favorite sets, but I somewhat understand the problems you have with him. (Although, i don’t understand your problems with his mask, I think it’s one of the coolest and most original masks in the whole series.)
I think krekka is actually very interesting and creative among the titan sets in 2004. The gears structure of the disk launcher is cool, and it was the last bionicle titan set to use gears. :(
hey would've swapped out the av-matoran for the hordika. now, one thing. while i do agree with nearly everything you said, there is one thing that all of you TTV people critizise and i don't really know why: proportions. how can we know the proportions of an imaginative being? of course we can compare it to the human body, but why should we? as always a good video ;P
SwongoBricks Proportion style is important. if you're going cartooney, go cartooney. But don't make them have super realistic arms and torsos but then really long legs.
EMMSixteenA4 but how do we know when legs are too long? you see, we always compare them to humans, but if lego decides that their arms are longer than their legs, it's lego's decision. what i am saying is, that people complain about proportions when they don't even know how they should be. we have nothing to compare it with. if lego would confirm the proportions they have right now, we could complain. but right now we just don't know how the proportions just be. bionicles are fictional beings and only lego has the right to decide which proportions said beings have
EMMSixteenA4 so you are saying that something with odd proportions does automatically look dumb. i don't think so. a good example of what i mean is makuta krika. i have never heard someone complaining about his long arms? why? because people thought that he has mutated into something different. and bionicles are something different. they do not have restricted proportions, as we always assume. also, it's good to have different proportions. it avoids clone sets and add to diversity. i really don't see the problem :D
10. I don't have the summer wave of G2 yet, but it doesn't look that bad. It may not be the best, but it looks far from awful IMO. 9. Again, doesn't look bad, but I never had it. In hindsight, I wish I got it for the golden Mask of Life. That alone would have been worth it. 8. I agree that Mahri Hewkii was pretty bad, but I find Kongu worse, if only for his horribly simplistic build and lazy weapons. 7. Never had any of the Bohrok Va, but at a $3 price, it's not the worst value ever. 6. Another set I never had. 5. Umbra, also known as the clusterfuck of Bionicle sets. Lazy reuse of Whenua's Metru mask, along with Matoro and Hewkii's swords, with an awful mix of orange and green, and to top it all off, roller skates that made it hard to pose and use them as a function. One of the worst Bionicle sets indeed. 4. While I hold the Toa Nuva Mistika in higher regards than most, my main issue with each of them was the overuse of grey. Beyond that, they weren't horrible. Gali wasn't a great set, but I had my fun with her. 3. Only had 3 of them, and they were disappointing at best. 2. I hate the Stars purely due to the fact that they were Bionicle G1's send off wave, and they were incredibly disappointing. After years of incredible sets, *this* is how you end the series? *Sigh* so disappointing. 1. Okay, for the sole function they have, which is to connect to the Toa Nuva, the Av-Matoran are not that bad. At a $13 price tag a piece, they are an atrocious offer.
I'm going to get shot for saying this but Gali Mistika was my second favorite gali. And a lot of the matoran are meant to be small, they are villagers and simple folks
5:55 almost made me cry. how could you insult umbra like that??????????? c'mon everybody; imagine how you would feel if you were hated and thrown at the bottom of a storage bin. Let us AVENGE UMBRA
Same I love his rollerskate feet and his color scheme so much I don't care what people say that its hard to make him stand in a what ever pose they like to do him.
oh wow, I remember krekka. The only reason I remember it is because he can be combined with another set to make the second bionicle movie villain. That's actually how he spent most of his lifespan. I dont know how we knew that would be a better use of him as kids, but somehow we did.
I had alot of fun playing with Gali Mistika, flying her around the room going 'pew pew', but was always kinda disappointed in the lack of blue. I stood by her though, I just imagined that the silver parts were armor and the few blue parts were uncovered skin. Or.. whatever Bionicles have. I think the same goes for Kopaka. I had him too, and dang hew was blah. The only interesting colored part of him was his chest plate, and it didn't even match anything else on his body. I'm glad G2 seems like it will never revisit this mostly bland nonsens.
I always loved Mistika Gali...scratch that, I love ALL of 2008. I know, weird. I think of Gali Mistika as a sniper, explaining why she only has a Nynrah Ghost Blaster with a scope.
Phantoka Kopaka easily beats out Gali as a worse set for me. Gali was weird, but I don't think it was BAD weird, necessarily, especially as she was comparatively lithe and unencumbered compared to her busier wavemates Tahu and Onua. She had a sniper look to her that I dug. Kopaka, though... Man, you know that feeling you get for a friend is unknowingly wearing something both really bland and unflattering in public? I couldn't stand him.
In terms of Av-Matoran, at least Solek stayed together slightly longer than Tanma, who had the issues of both being made from terrible 08 plastic and being lime green, which made the poor bastard fall apart ridiculously quickly. I still lik him, but damn is he fragile. I think the Agori are actually worse than the Avotoran on average. Aside from standouts like the two mentioned, that is.
mediscout the medical scout of medicine Yup. Also at least his torso doesn't look crap because the jetpack bulks him up, which is more than can be said for the Agori and Stars.
Oh hey, I know a year old comment but nice to see that someone else complains, I unfortunately never got Tanma which I would've loved to have with Lewa but Solek does have a little crack in one of the balljoint holders on the legs... The quality was TERRIBLE with the Mahri, dunno what they changed with the plastic but it was as bad as a factory new, less than a week old Hahli, having the Blaster drag and split the hand apart... I never really got to have a full line minus buying the used Mata and Nuva, the only line I got to have was the Mahri on Christmas, oh lucky me... That's kinda what stopped me, the old parts also started to have cracks even if I was careful and never played around much, do prefer stuff digitally nowadays. So lime green made it worse for certain reasons as well? I only knew that transparent plastic doesn't last.
I say the hand price used for one of krekka’s arms is its elbow since the weapon looks like a claw, if that theory is true, he will have no movable hand
I really liked Tanma of the Av Matoran when I was younger (I was born the same year as Bionicle) for multiple reasons: 1. His simplicity made him a good thing to carry around without losing pieces. 2. His blades are probably the coolest looking of the three, or at least that's what I thought when I was 8. 3. His mask looked really cool. 4. He had multiple pieces that were a vibrant shade of green, which is always appealing.
You know the rahaga were bad, when you used to be able to find them repackaged as bionic robots at the dollar store. and most of the pieces in said bionic robot were stiff and didnt fit quite right.
I honestly loved Solek for his simplicity but I would have preferred blue eyes. I scrapped him cause I too dislike the limited posing with the later sets (they did cause the downfall, I agree) but I loved his mask
The remade guys like the yellow rakshi and piraka were my least favourite, as they just took a dump on the old designs. I also didn't like gadunka at all.
I would like to disagree on #7 because I think bohrok va are cute and fun to play with. Like the big bohrok, everything is fully realized. Sure, they lack possibility, but look at the toa from 2001 & 2003, the toa mata and toa nuva have all the articulsion as today's sets, except in the head, and I don't see anyone complaining! Let's just say that I agree to disagree with this top 10.
Personally, Mr.Mesonak, I actually think differently of your opinion on Skull Scorpio. Again, this is the one time that I dare say HF did way better than Bionicle. Bionicle is supposed to be much more superior than HF, and if so, why screw this set up? I don't even bother comparing Scorpio from Savage Planet and this skull scorpio...thing. Even though HF's Scorpio had a pretty simple stinger-blaster gimmick, he's still pretty good. I like the color scheme, and his articulation is loaded. I even let him stand up on twos and combined him with Black Phantom. He was also my very first set that introduced me to all of this. Skull Scorpio, however, is the complete opposite. I'm really pissed off when I look at him, both the prototype and the finalized pictures. Color scheme, I can handle, but the rest of him is an absolute mess. Scrawny look, lack of articulation, and a weird gimmick that wraps it all up. It's likely that they spent way more time on the "mask-grabbing" gimmick on him rather than the actual look of the toy. Now that, for me, is not acceptable. I'm still angry sometimes that my first CCBS set got screwed up so badly in the Bionicle universe. I thought the Combat Machine was bad, I thought LoSS was bad, but they actually looked OK in the end. This? They truly dropped the ball on this one. If it wasn't for the corrupted Pohatu mask, there's no way I can recommend this set in any way, both myself and other Bionicle fans out there. Sorry for disturbing you. If you can read my personal rant, it's fine. -Wing Rocka
I actually really like the Mata nui titan-set. For the longest time I was complexed by myself, being unable to explain why exactly, as all the things you say are true. In the end however, I reasoned with this: You know those type of watches with a glass piece that makes you able to look into the mechanism to see how it works? Or those computers that have glass sides, making the insides visible? I think the Mata nui-titan is kind of like that for lego technic, and that somehow apeals to me
Mahri and barraki are my two favorite waves. But in the case of hewkii and mantax the problem is an arm and a hand. I just cannot understand who took the decision of doing them in that way
Wow I had all these sets as a kid (not the new ones) and loved them till the end. Even though some were limited (bionicle star) I used my imagination and combined them. Bionicle star was the first ones I had.
Good video, but about Solek; he was colored that way to match Kopaka, who is also white and grery. Grey was the Toa's secondary color for that series, so it would have looked out of place if he had light blue as his secondary armor color. This was an interesting video, keep up the good work!!!!!😊

All top 10s are subjective to whoever is making them. They are their opinions, you can have your own.
@@jacosisabapretty shitty list overall tbh
And in the distance, I hear my childhood screaming in pain from hearing those awful words, "Bionicle Stars."
Reviving bionicle made atleast tahu good agian
@@Personal_Tap and he got axed.... again!
This series was Just comemorative to the whole bionicle history
what the fuck am I doing with my life
Same I don't even own bionicle
You don't have to own Bionicles to enjoy it. All of it's story is told through books, movies, comics, games, etc.
I have the same feeling while watching this
got a point
izaiah colon
you're trying to learn what it takes to be a hero
WHAT!? MAHRI HEWKII ITS SO COOL
All the Mahri + Barraki were the best.
Agreed. 2007 was a great year, I don't get the hate.
because on the right arm has NO HAND!😱😰😰😱😱
Lan quach but he has a torpedo launcher.
Lan Quach you can just add a hand, it’s not that hard and he looks badass afterwards
It’s ironic that Toa Mata Nui is currently the most expensive Bionicle all because of the Pear Gold Inika
You had one job
i thought krekka was cool as fuck
CaptainSkelebones Same here! I loved his mechanical look, same goes for Toa Mata Nui.
Same for Me krekka was the best 2004 titan
Mahri Hewkii is one of the coolest Toa that have ever excisted! He is genial! His set has a great weapon and a completely new mask.
Frank Miller there is one problem: HE HAS NO RIGHT HAND!!!!!!!
For some reason, I thought the Bohrok and the Bohrok Va were really CUTE.
Bohrok are cool, Bohrok Kal are clones, and Bohrok Va are adorably stubby.
Hewkii looks awesome
Mortis3897 Too bad he's missing a right hand.
that doesnt concern me
I always thought it made him look cooler, like he lost his hand to a shark.
WTF? He looks nothing like his previous forms.
Late comment but he has no chest.
You really love bionicle g2, don't you?
Aditya Sundaram
For what it is, yeah.
NickonAquaMagna What about all the other sets on this list? Do you think they accomplished the goals they set out to achieve?
legomaster1378
In the case of smaller sets like the Rahaga, I think so. Most of these are pretty hard to defend, though.
NickonAquaMagna Hewkii Mahri cannot be defended, though. How do you justify him having only one hand?
I don't agree on Krekka, it's a good set, with complex technic functions, the rest is really bad.
It's a thrown together pile of junk with horrible arms.
Hej Toa Protodermis :) Nie wiedziałem że oglądasz TTV... :)
Radosław Hada Jasikowski Staram się być na bieżąco ze wszystkim w internetach. Tak naprawdę to nie oglądam ich regularnie, po prostu miałem ten filmik w polecanych.
I like Krekka too.
I had Umbra for a short time when I was a kid. And I admit, it was kinda bad because of the feet. But that quickly changed when I removed the wheels off of them. After that, it was awesomeness.
He still is stable with the wheels i still have him he is cool
Is it weird if I actually like the Mistika? Granted, they were my introduction to the Toa Nuva, but still, I like the uniqueness of the Masks, especially Tahu, and (believe it or not) I actually like the abundance of silver towards the end, I thought it gave the Toa a darker, more stylized look.
But I can tell I'm in the minority on both, so I guess I understand your opinions.
JTH Studios I like them too
I almost replied to a 3 year comment from a video I already watched years ago!
I actually liked gali, umbrah, mata nui, the rahaga, and the bohrok vah.
I really liked Mata Nui and Umbra, don't think they should of been on this list
I like Toa Mata Nui.
me too
i like lewa
Vakama is my favorit toa from mata nui
Toa mata nui its super cool and big . i want it
Someone here want to sell it?
I loved Mahri Hewkii. I mean it's all subjective, but I'd put him in my Top 10 best. 😅
Nick Flemens bonkles can be considered art, so everything is just subjective. If you think he's a decent build it's just fine.
I like Umbra. He's kind of interesting.
Vaerthelmn 52 A good idea, yes. In design though, he's sort of a mess.
Well... not so sure.
Bohrok Kal are awesome dude
I feel like this list should be the opposite way around, also screw you for specifically targeting my favorite tiny bionicle Solek. Mata Nui was dying so the color schemes tended to be bleaker near the end of the 'toa era'. The mask of life was Gold when it was first introduced along with the Baraki, but then turned to silver as life in the bionicle universe faded.
I liked the Bohrok Va. They may have been cheap and didn't look the best but they're good in their own right.
I'm Also Like Bohrok Va Too Along With Toa Metru Nui,Mahri Hewkii,Umbra,Mistika Gali,And What I'm Love Is Av-Matoran & Agori I'm Olny Hate Is Skull Scorpio,Krekka,Rahaga And Stars SkrallThe TTV Channel Is Really Going Badly For Some Video
i always thought the bohrok va were really cute and it made me sad as a kid that they were bad guys
I feel ya just look at the little guys waddle along how can you not think that's adorable ?
They're tiny Bohrok babies.
I like the Voyatoran more due to them pretty much all having different builds.
nah, the voyatoran were the best small sets imo
Ughh, the voyatoran. When I was younger I liked to imagine they were spit out of an assembly line in hell. I wasn't too surprised to learn from the lore that was basically the case.
The Takuafan i like garen the most due to the amounts of articulation.
I’m still impressed with how they drew the bionicle comics with the details with the pieces
wow Titan mata nui at 9!!!!! I'm genuinely surprised . I thought he was one of the best sets ever done!!
Same. He's one of the crowing models in my collection.
Fr i love that set he is so titanic and imposing
Yeah I was lowkey pissed seeing it on this list, considering that I have him. Love his complexity and design
I would say Tanma over Solek, at least Solek won't crack after five minutes!
I had one of 1# as a kid, and i actually remember being really pleased as a kid.
Is that not counting Roodakas staff?
hey would've swapped out the av-matoran for the hordika.
now, one thing. while i do agree with nearly everything you said, there is one thing that all of you TTV people critizise and i don't really know why: proportions.
how can we know the proportions of an imaginative being? of course we can compare it to the human body, but why should we?
as always a good video ;P
Honestly the proportions of the original guys were very weird but that doesn't stop us from loving them. Proportions really aren't an issue.
SwongoBricks Proportion style is important. if you're going cartooney, go cartooney. But don't make them have super realistic arms and torsos but then really long legs.
EMMSixteenA4
but how do we know when legs are too long? you see, we always compare them to humans, but if lego decides that their arms are longer than their legs, it's lego's decision.
what i am saying is, that people complain about proportions when they don't even know how they should be. we have nothing to compare it with. if lego would confirm the proportions they have right now, we could complain.
but right now we just don't know how the proportions just be. bionicles are fictional beings and only lego has the right to decide which proportions said beings have
SwongoBricks ... But if they look dumb, they still look dumb. I'm not questioning anybody's authority here....
EMMSixteenA4
so you are saying that something with odd proportions does automatically look dumb.
i don't think so.
a good example of what i mean is makuta krika. i have never heard someone complaining about his long arms? why? because people thought that he has mutated into something different. and bionicles are something different. they do not have restricted proportions, as we always assume. also, it's good to have different proportions. it avoids clone sets and add to diversity. i really don't see the problem :D
Hewkii i have to disagree with. While his design is WAY out there. He stood out to me with that mask B.
What about the Rahaga, Stars Skrall, and Av-Matoran (especially Solek)?
In all fairness, the Ruhaga weren't meant for combat like the Toa Hordika were. Their spinners were really just helicopter blades.
Can you do "top 10 combiners"?
Kurtisflow Good idea! We'll do that for sure.
thethreevirtues What about "top ten matoran"?
IDK or villains.
Wowhaak They did a list for top ten villains.
Kurtisflow or matoran
I'm going to get shot for saying this but Gali Mistika was my second favorite gali. And a lot of the matoran are meant to be small, they are villagers and simple folks
5:55 almost made me cry. how could you insult umbra like that??????????? c'mon everybody; imagine how you would feel if you were hated and thrown at the bottom of a storage bin. Let us AVENGE UMBRA
Toa Mata Nui shouldn't be anywhere near this list, and Hewkii Mahri was a flawed, but very interesting and cool looking design.
Bitch i love Umbra
Da Player Me too man I have him in my room on a shelf he's my favorite bionicle
I Agree I Liked Gali Mistika She's Was Okay Or Alright Set
Phantoka Kopaka easily beats out Gali as a worse set for me. Gali was weird, but I don't think it was BAD weird, necessarily, especially as she was comparatively lithe and unencumbered compared to her busier wavemates Tahu and Onua. She had a sniper look to her that I dug. Kopaka, though... Man, you know that feeling you get for a friend is unknowingly wearing something both really bland and unflattering in public? I couldn't stand him.
Pew pew
You know what I should do? I should get Tahu Mistika and Stars Tahu, and attach Stars Tahu to Mistika Tahu like he's a wee little babeh Tahu.
Adhil Nishat I think some of my Stars still have all four.
Adhil Nishat Yea, that too.
Just curious, what's wrong with the lime green parts? I don't understand why they're avoided by so many people...
Take a shot of Protodermis every time he says controversial.
... Skull scorpio is my favorite skull villain...
And my favorite toa mahri was Hewkii...
Dammit xD
If it makes you feel better, I like the Bohrok Va.
Pixl Potato Oh yeah i like those too :P
I loved Hewkii too! He was my first Mahri purchase xD
Menacing Threat I think Jaller was my first Toa Mahri purchase.
Adhil Nishat Quite true
Top 10 worst Bionicle sets:
10: Zesk
9: Makuta Bitil
8: Tarduk
7: Mahri Matoro
6: Mahri Hewki
5: Axon
4: Sidorak
3: Krekka
2: Bohrok
1: Rahaga
I actually liked the 2008 sets. This was mostly due to nostalgia (gali mistika was my first bionicle set) and that they introduced me to bionicle.
Bro my Bricklink haul of Gold and Keet-Orange pieces came with a Gold Ignika
I say the hand price used for one of krekka’s arms is its elbow since the weapon looks like a claw, if that theory is true, he will have no movable hand
I really liked Tanma of the Av Matoran when I was younger (I was born the same year as Bionicle) for multiple reasons:
1. His simplicity made him a good thing to carry around without losing pieces.
2. His blades are probably the coolest looking of the three, or at least that's what I thought when I was 8.
3. His mask looked really cool.
4. He had multiple pieces that were a vibrant shade of green, which is always appealing.
Why is Nocturn at the end of the video instead of the Bohrok va?
You know the rahaga were bad, when you used to be able to find them repackaged as bionic robots at the dollar store. and most of the pieces in said bionic robot were stiff and didnt fit quite right.
why is nocturn where the bohrok va are mean't to go at the end? did TTV make a mess up :P
Bionicleforever12 Yeah... there are a few mistakes sprinkled throughout this video, lol. T_T
thethreevirtues Happy birthday to Meso!!!
thethreevirtues what about irnakk
This list is more controversial than the picks.
SOLEK IS NO MORE THAN A PAWN FOR THE MIGHTY
GOLD GOOD GUY
Solek, Makuta Tuyet killer him, and for good reason, he and the other av-matoran, were supposed to be toa of light, like Takua.
but tuyet is a toa
and only killed them in an alternate universe
Forgot about the red star? In this case Tuyet was brought into a new body, expect to see it soon.....😈
i dont agree with 8 just because it was super unique and stood out, i personally enjoyed that line of bionicles just cause of the lil gatling guns
This is worst argued countdown related to bionicle I've seen...
I honestly loved Solek for his simplicity but I would have preferred blue eyes. I scrapped him cause I too dislike the limited posing with the later sets (they did cause the downfall, I agree) but I loved his mask
for me it would be the klakk. what is that thing??
Ticci Toby For me that was somewhat creative.... unlike the av-matoran
Only Mata Nui knows what it is.
RobotFilmProductions
its face haunts me in my dreams
mediscout the medical scout of medicine NO!
DON'T!
YOU'LL DOOM US ALL!
mac10smg, Toa of Green
we need to burn that abomination before it can lay eggs
The remade guys like the yellow rakshi and piraka were my least favourite, as they just took a dump on the old designs. I also didn't like gadunka at all.
gadunka is that nigga u trippin
Mesonak: Solek is the worst Bionicle set ever released.
Good Guy: *”allow me to introduce myself”*
I would like to disagree on #7 because I think bohrok va are cute and fun to play with. Like the big bohrok, everything is fully realized. Sure, they lack possibility, but look at the toa from 2001 & 2003, the toa mata and toa nuva have all the articulsion as today's sets, except in the head, and I don't see anyone complaining! Let's just say that I agree to disagree with this top 10.
Krekka? COME ON
Hewkii gets a pass because of how much of a Chad he is
Personally, Mr.Mesonak, I actually think differently of your opinion on Skull Scorpio.
-Wing Rocka
I think I've found a simple way to fix his legs. I'll try it out once I get it :P
Owned 40% of these sets :') had a good time with them when I was younger though
How did Ultimate Dume and 'Gold Good Guy' not make this list? XD
I have two questions for this video:
1.Why is this a video
2. Why did I watch this in its entirety
Hey, Toa Mata Nui is fun, and I know it isn't great, but you gotta mention the legs! They're the best part of it!
I wish mine didn't decide to fall apart, I thought it looked awesome back then xD
The worst sets were the glatoran sets cause THEIR PIECES BROKE LIKE A KNIFE CUTTING LITHIUM
Hewkii Mahri was my first Bionicle set ever, and as such is one of my favorites
I think most of these are better then my Bionicle MOCS tbh..
HAHAHA I KNEW IT! MESO HATES SOLEK! I TOTALLY GUESSED THAT
DTinaglia Studios HAHAHA He mentioned he hated Solek in the MNOG2 lets play.
+DTinaglia Studios YAYYY GOOOO TANMA, TANMA RULES THE SKIES!!! TO HIM SOLEK AND PHOTOK ARE JUST TINY FLIES!!!!
I think the Mata nui-titan is kind of like that for lego technic, and that somehow apeals to me
Radiak for president! #MakeMatoranUniverseGreatAgain
I think Gali Mistika’s mask is alright when I use it for my MOC builds. but yes, why would you not give her another weapon?
6:50 i think he actually looks pretty cool :/
Not he
Call me a heratic, but I personally like the av matoran because there simplicity, I like simple builds. But hey, you can hate me for it.
Solek is proud
if they switched feet and changed his name, umbra would actually be very cool set
IKR
yeeee
Maybe change the colors a bit too
Oh man, not Umbra. He was baller
6:20 You mean the Toa Nuva, not Toa Mata right?
Toa Mata was the 2001 version of the Toa Nuva so Mata works.
Godzilla Tyrant but they went from nuva to mistika, so it's technically wrong
Mahri and barraki are my two favorite waves. But in the case of hewkii and mantax the problem is an arm and a hand. I just cannot understand who took the decision of doing them in that way
Wow I had all these sets as a kid (not the new ones) and loved them till the end. Even though some were limited (bionicle star) I used my imagination and combined them. Bionicle star was the first ones I had.
The mitiska is supposed to be upgradded with tech, hence all the silver. Its from lore
I built Toa Mata NUI when I was about 8
Loved the thing
Good video, but about Solek; he was colored that way to match Kopaka, who is also white and grery. Grey was the Toa's secondary color for that series, so it would have looked out of place if he had light blue as his secondary armor color. This was an interesting video, keep up the good work!!!!!😊
