Hi Ted, not sure what you mean by covered live rock? Anaerobic bacteria activity usually occurs in deep sand beds and within live rock. 👍🏻

Foxface are pigs, mine is a food hog too. Your yellow tang looks really good tho. I feed my dt 3 times a day! Prolly overfeed..

Hey Tom this is such great information. Thank you and your tank looks so great. I wanted to ask you if a one spot fox face could work in a 55 gallon? I have a healthy tank with two clowns, a small Tomini tang and royal gramma. I really am interested in the look of the fox face and that he could help with bubble algae .
Hi BA, thanks! Some would say a Fox Face in 55g not. They do get large. Mine is just about to big for my 75. However, if you get a small one, you’d be ok for a while. Keep in mind that adding it now after you have established fish in there could cause territorial issues. Also they have venomous dorsal spines for protection. I’m almost certain mine killed my Royal Gramma over territory. So? 😃

Why to feed by pellets if you can have in salt aquarium, refagum adult artemia, adult brine shrimps population ? 🤔
Not enough artemia and brine shrimp in refugium. 👍🏻

Hi Jonathan, I’ve gone quite a while in my 20 gallon without a water change. But corals started not to look too good. Sanjay Joshis 29 gallon softie tank had gone 5 years without a water change. 😊but he’s a pro. 😃

@@TOMReefer Cool I need 1..couple of questions can I put a mini hygerr wavemaker in my new waterbox 10 gallon on the lowest settings? and are Flame Hawks reef safe or will they perch on my Devils hand and green stars mushrooms etc..Thanks Bro?
Hi Al, start at the lowest setting and look at the flow. Increase if needed. Hawk fish in 10 gallons is not recommended. It should have at least 20 gallons.

that's a lot of fish for that tank... you must have a killer filtration system.
Hi Shipmate, most of the fish are small. The only big guys are the tang and the Foxface. Remember, it not the quantity of fish, it’s the size. 👍🏻
Not really.. think Tom mentioned 10 fish in a 75g. That's pretty average imo

@@TOMReefer I was going to email you some pics and details of my all Xenia refugium for phosphate control but had bit of accident as had DC wavemaker had nick in cord and for week Xenia kept shrinking and realized too late it zapped it all so starting over again as I have tanks full of it and give handfuls away every few months for free as it’s out of control but it’s still cool to watch sway around !
