    it was so impressive to see his progress and how much height he slowly got while on the old vault horse. by the new vault table came around he was just popping it so high in the air that we was overrotating it.

    You can tell this wasn't an easy vault for him, at all, but boy did he ever get it by 2000.

      I couldn't find his others vaults from the Olympics, but they were excellent!

      Very controversial too. And he had his tongue pierced. The late 90’s gymnastics community didn’t know what to do with him.

    I don’t know if anyone else feels the same as me but I find it extremely frustrating when a skill is performed, and can only barely be properly achieved, just for the sake of it being an amazing skill. It’s not an amazing skill if its achievement is so haphazard and random. Athletes should just train with that skill for longer before performing it in competition 🤔
