Love the fact that on the one hand you seem at times so focused on what you are playing and on the moment but still it looks like you are having so much fun
You can learn anything if you keep practicing and don't overthink it which that last one still halts my progress often but it's a work in progress lol.
If my ears are correct, Zombified is in A# while OSC is in A...so it's *almost* a carbon copy of the riff. I guess it just goes to show how you can still juice a lot of creativity out of an old idea!
Awesome. I tried playing guitar like 15 years ago and I gave up. Now I'm trying to learn drums. I have a new appreciation for anyone that plays a musical instrument
Nik looks like he's having the time of his life playing this hand. Yep You gotta give them double credit by reacting and covering the song. Rn it's on the no1 spot in hardcore songs playlists. Lol those faces before the smack hits 😂 As usual killing the top of the game. If nik only had to do covers then he'd be releasing cover like 10 mins after the song is out like how he was before 2020 back when he used to do only covers. This song = Fun :D Also u can't play this song unless you are ZOMBIFIED
Ok, I REALLY love this song as is, and that buildup and breakdown is super nasty. But HOLY HELL does seeing the guitar portion of it give me an even higher level of respect for it. DAMN!! Great job Nik!
Wow, I'm a producer and working on a solo metal project. I've been worried people won't pay attention due to my very basic guitar playing as I'm definitely more of a producer than a musician but this song being successful proves that it doesn't matter so much as long as it is catchy.
People worry too much about being technical and showing off complex guitar playing. Id argue being able to express your ideas is far more important, although have to make sure to get the rhythm practice down.
Hey Nik! Been following you for years now and loving your videos ever since! One question, is it important to learn music theory to get good at guitar? I am a drummer getting into guitar and was wondering what you thought. Thanks!
I'm sorry if I did not see it on the tab, but what tuning is this in? Sounds really low on a 6-string, like a Drop-B or Drop-C? Edit: Saw it at the very, very bottom of the description - drop A#. Wow!
Noice! Was expecting your random eyes-rolled-back derp face somewhere in one of the several 2 beat rests. Would've been perfect on that last 2 beat rest before the outro riff 🤣🤣
So much focus on the four notes of the guitar riff having the same rhythm as one step closer and none on the fact the vocal performance was larping fallout boy to perfection.

Ye Indeed they are lit, yes indeed.

10 levels of brutal slamming death metal?
Deadsquad - Curse of the black plague 👌
Great sound in this vid
Dude the tones you get are sooooo amazing one day I will be as good as you and I hope I can get them tones to
I love how Nick really looks like he is having so much fun! Keep it up man I love these videos
Fun :D
Could also be because of how easy the song is, he doesn't really have to concentrate too much
2:05 precise moment of happy Nik face
@@NikNocturnal Yes, fun and happiness!
Honestly I can't stand how much he dances around but he's a hell of a guitar player but my opinion doesn't matter
Love the fact that on the one hand you seem at times so focused on what you are playing and on the moment but still it looks like you are having so much fun
Gotta have fun :D
I know it’s probably not easy but looking at the tab, this seems like it may be one that I could actually learn. That breakdown looks nasty though
You can learn anything if you keep practicing and don't overthink it which that last one still halts my progress often but it's a work in progress lol.
its one of the easiest metal songs I learned no cap
No joke you could learn this quick. I’m not even that good and I learned this one by ear
The breakdown is actually kinda easy its the dissonance that keeps messing me up lol
@@ryanbollinger60 yep same I got the breakdown riff by ear in like 5 mins but the dissonance fucks with me xd
That "zombified" breakdown with your face smiling is the best breakdown ever. 🤣🤣🤣
he got zombified. lol
I love how this song isn’t complicated at all. It’s just fun to play.
Now I'm 100% sure the inspiration for this main riff was One Step Closer by Linkin Park
Just played the intros side by side and was like holy shit
When it first got released that's exactly what i thought
I came to that realisation after having it stuck in my head for the last day, thought I was going insane because I couldn’t place it
If my ears are correct, Zombified is in A# while OSC is in A...so it's *almost* a carbon copy of the riff. I guess it just goes to show how you can still juice a lot of creativity out of an old idea!
they're really not that close when you consider all the possibilities in writing riffs.
As usual killing it!!
Great job
Thank you!
I was hoping you would cover this one. Awesome job. Some cool riffs on this one
Yeah, super fun one to play on guitar
Bro that breakdown just destroys you, absolutely insane
Awesome. I tried playing guitar like 15 years ago and I gave up. Now I'm trying to learn drums. I have a new appreciation for anyone that plays a musical instrument
1:24 This little dance just gets me every time xD
Love your Energy, great job!

Phenomenal song. LOVE the lyrical content. Killer cover. Never heard of these guys till now. Thanks man!
Luke Holland takes this track to a different level live. Their show in Cincinnati was sick🤘
Great cover as always! Love to see some horrorwood covers! Don't know if you've done them already or not lol
That breakdown HITS
Killing it like always nik! Always makes me laugh with the random faces that pop up lol
1:25 that little dance made me laugh a lot!
Looks like a gas station doll lmao

perfect cover dude! what a song.
That intro riff got a Linkin park - one step closer feel
Ok, I REALLY love this song as is, and that buildup and breakdown is super nasty.
But HOLY HELL does seeing the guitar portion of it give me an even higher level of respect for it. DAMN!! Great job Nik!
That was awesome man! Looks like you had a blast playing it too. Keep up the great work Nik!
Dude this is awesome I've been looking for an accurate tab for the breakdown part for the Digitech Whammy parts! Nailed it \m/
I could seriously watch Nik play guitar all day. Always looks like he's having a blast!
this is the earliest I've ever been for a video damn
I said it before- you got me to pick up the axe again! Dope song. Dope channel.
Do a cover of artificial suicide by bad omens!
Been waiting for that one too
Great Choice!!

Good songwriting and catchy hooks transcend almost everything in music. Hope your project turns out well.

Sometimes simple is best.
A lot of my favorite songs are played on 2 strings and 1 fret 99% of the time 😂 don’t worry! Do what makes you happy to make
@@TripleBeamDreamin agreed!
One Step Closer + Paradigm + Manic
nik back at it with the speedy spicy covers
Nick murdered this riff again. Well done, keep It up buddy!🤘
Dude 2:06😢 such majesty

Hey Nik! Been following you for years now and loving your videos ever since! One question, is it important to learn music theory to get good at guitar? I am a drummer getting into guitar and was wondering what you thought. Thanks!
I just saw falling in reverse live on the 18th and lemme say your energy let alone the accuracy you play with you would fit right in

Song is in drop A#/Bb for anyone that doesn’t know
dude this is just so cool
This song does the heavy. Very nice 👌
I'm sorry if I did not see it on the tab, but what tuning is this in? Sounds really low on a 6-string, like a Drop-B or Drop-C?
Edit: Saw it at the very, very bottom of the description - drop A#. Wow!
Omg the close up
Love it, that was fun to watch. :)
Perfect!! Every single detail well done!
Awesome job Nick!
Sounds great! Love the tone! What tuning is this in?

Breakdown looks harder to play than the entire song. Dope cover Nik!
not hard, but i don't have whammy pedal =(
@@SteveBearscemi same unfortunately
