Merlin turned Her down and she lied on him...Once he was confronted by the guys ....he hopped in the car with his friend...the dudes shot at the car from a far ...but ONE BULLET penetrated the car and struck him ...It was a LUCKY HIT !

Sometimes the media doesn't always get the story right the 1st. time around . Heck , l remember my Mom telling me years ago that when the singer Sam Cooke was shot to death , she said that the d.j.had stated that he was shot by a Chinese woman and that it was basically a lovers quarrel . She said that's what the d.j.said on the radio when the news first broke . However , as time went by over the next several days , the story changed considerably . But for what it's worth , when l heard & read about the murder of M. Santana , l do recall hearing & reading where the young girl in question shot him "herself" and that she was put up to it by 2 men who were in their mid to late 20's . But in either event , I do appreciate you setting the record straight for me . May Merlin Santana R.I.P.
