Just use cypton from katran normal green colour and glows up at night with the blue head torch. Mega strong used it for a few years won’t use anything else.
Or just use normal line don't he a tit shining a headtorch around constantly
Luke is the type of guy who hangs around the swimming pool changing room doing pre swim stretches in budgie smugglers.
I wonder where all these lines are manufactured? Nash, Korda,Fox, and Ridgemonkey, etc. I bet it's the same production line in a factory somewhere in China.
If it was it probably wouldnt be as expensive
There are about 17 top players in monofilament manufacturing worldwide. Fox manufacture their own, as do Daiwa and Shimano.
For sure! I bought several Stanley UK...products.. But all made in China!... So? Why the overpriced tags?
Katran has neon line for 5+ years at least! Nash didn’t invent anything new. They just copied something that already is proved to be an excellent product.
Another Angler caught 🎣 🎣 🎣
Matt Hayes was using bright coloured lines, yellow and red I think, years ago. They were not UV but I think he used them to see if they scared fish. My recollection was that they didn't as fish can see most lines anyway.
Nothing new, people where using fluro yellow sea line back in he 90s.
Katran already make a UV line and it's amazing
The biggest thing i would want to see in a line vid is how it looks underwater, i.e. how much does this UV one stand out compared to your typical mono or fluro.
Has it got distant marks on the spool for 250mts?
I have always thought bright lines are less visible for fish looking up...
Had the skyline uv yellow spooled up on my rods last weekend and can honestly say being bright yellow made no difference in my catch rate, if anything I had my best weekend since November last year, so long as your lines pinned down and you’ve got a long enough leader you are fine.
Do you need shock line for the uv yellow?
Nice beard but the shown baseline braid diameters and strength are totally wrong.
Dia 0.20 - 20lbs
Dia 0.24 - 25lbs
Dia 0.28 - 30lbs
Dia 0.35 - 40lbs
I got a complete 600m spool 0.24 baseline braid on my Ultegra 14000 XTE and some space left for mono line below the braid, The braid is really thin compared to other braids.
I’ve just spent 30 years concealing my end tackle , pathetic
Line is not end tackle ;-)
copying Katran .... sigh
Katran
Mid video, and he did not show it on a reel at night. Just blah blah. This is an infomercial channel?
Carp see color & lines differently to us anglers due to their eyes having a different biological make up.
They see UV & NIR light that is invisible to humans (and other mammals) which means they see up to 50 times as many colors as us.
Just because we see a color doesn’t mean that they do too…
@carpology Gents not being funny but have you used it ?? If not why are you reviewing it! 😮 tackle reviews are there for genuine reviews of items used and abused not pushed by company’s as they want to sell it come on play the game
katran crypton.
🤣💩👀
I have been using yellow and neon lime green braid lines for river fishing on the river Lot, France for about 7 years. I started using dark green lines but struggled to see if my lines were close to submerged trees - so much debris on this river! The fish do not get put off by bright mainlines! Just use a more discreet short leader and hook length. Good to see Nash adding these products, I will check them out.
