Say what you want about Easy Day, but at least they were upfront and honest about simply not wanting to add a stats menu.
I would love a new pushing system; Holding the button to load the pushing power with the leg holding further in the air, then it actually pushes when the button is released. New animations would be great too (Going on and off the board, bails, bad landings, bad grind and slide balance, landing from hights,...)
I like this idea! Like, you could time your release by the leg raise for efficiency or maybe even a rewarding boost for correct timing! And it would be good for small pushes as you mentioned with power loading
Also i wish they could fix smiths they are so wobbly if u dont lock in right. Also you could be going down the most massive 20 stair rail and your character is standing up completely straight. When I’m filming clips with certain shoes the ankles of the skater are completely broken and the shoes aren’t connected to the skater. Also bumping out of grinds is so weird what if you just want to go out normally and not do an awkward 90 degree turn to get out.
The ankle glitch should go if you turn the skater animation off in the experimental menu. Sucks without it tho so I just have to deal with the broken ankles lol what shoes have you found that don't seem to glitch? I've tried loads but still looks broken. Really hope they bring a update out soon and clear some of this crap up
I blame a lot of it on the fact they're published by Nacon now, as opposed to being a pure indie studio. ever since they hopped in with Nacon, they became more corporate and started to communicate less and less, most likely due to the fact they legally can't just talk about everything like they used to. I also think that we aren't seeing as much content now because of the upgrade to UE5. They are a really small team after all, usually only having like 1-2 people per section of the team. The art/map team are probably focused on porting the maps, textures, etc. over to the new engine, so we probably won't see any new maps, decks, object dropper stuff, etc. until after the port. Same with new gameplay features, the coding team are probably gonna be the busiest with having to make sure the physics system works in UE5, as well as literally all of the other coding in the game lmao. I expect that once they port over to UE5, we'll start to see more DLC's and they'll probably get back to their old ways of communication, but as for now, there most likely isn't anything for them to really talk about in terms of new stuff, and lets be real, nobody cares about their posts that aren't showing off new content

@@itspigeonthiefgraphics. That’s it lol especially with so many AI generators for people, scenery, etc requiring UE5. I use it for very small game dev, and the blueprint improvements, graphics capabilities, and AI functionality are the big applicable points. They don’t have massive systems to keep in check, online marketplaces to factor in, it’s just a physics system and interactive objects. And UE5 has made language free coding (blueprints) even easier to work with which would then make porting easier too. No language changes. No switching from Unity or Godot to UE5. One thing for certain with the upgrade to UE5 is that physics for sure will be different. I definitely agree with the gear and animations parts. Im hoping with the upgrade they can also do more with the clothes and make them work better. And I am hoping they they will work on the animations more once its ported. But for now some more stuff with customization would be great. Including things with the character themselves. Like more hair options. They are part of a bigger studio now, and could hopefully do more. There are now mods that let you do more than you could before, simply because the options were pretty basic. There are older games with more options. While part of me thinks its not that important because the skateboarding is the focus, everyone loves being able to make their character look how they want. nacon killed this game, it was rushed out september 2022 and all people have been waiting for since then is physics and animation fixes and better character creation, yet creature have nothing but maps, which yeah we want as well, but they're supposed to drop with big updates, maps are all they've seemed to care about since launch though so I have to believe that's all that's coming now, except for unreal 5 apparently, but they haven't spoken a single word about that in months so who knows if it's even happening anymore, wouldn't be the first time they confirmed it then didn't do it. it's such a shame because they were truly on a roll till nacon came along, I can't believe out of everyone it's EA doing the best job handling a skating game right now.
Every update has come with hot fixes and there's a staff of like, less than ten people, I'd rather they take the time to do it right than just go complete ghost like their biggest competitors did.
@@Frontside_Hurricane there's almost 20 people and every update since launch has been less impactful than the updates from early access (when they were actually less than 10), nothing that matters has been fixed or even spoken about, goofy animations don't exist, bounce glitch is still thriving, missions still barely work, not one single experimental feature has been touched, late tricks still don't work right, still can't push mongo, it's been 2 years and all there's been are minor tweaks and hotfixes which most people wouldn't even know unless they were told what changed.

@@Frontside_Hurricane I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. I can't get hyped for a ue5 update that has zero information around it after months, and after they already announced it once and then said they couldn't do it last year. If they just fix the physics and animations this game would easily better than Skater XL. I don't get how its so hard for developers to just fix such a easy problem.
I'm still worried about when the upgrade to Unreal Engine 5 drops, and all of the previous mods stop working forever. The upgrade better be REALLY worth it, fixing everything in the game so far. We've been waiting a while now.
I had to reinstall the game a month or two ago cause I was having an issue, and I havent even bothered going back through it all because I know as soon as the upgrade happens theyre not gonna work. So heres to hoping the modders are willing to go to UE5.
i think they’re reworking all the animations with the new guy they hired a while ago, and rewiring the game around it. it’s usually the process that takes the longest is this type of games, and they’re also a small team on top of that. I thought we were going to see something some time ago but i guess not
I still have the map for the sewers, and I don't think I ever had to pay for it. I was bummed when my game updated I thought I had lost the turtles map and characters but it's still all on there 😅 so that is pretty cool
People just want content and fixes more regularly. DLC clothing packs could just be a way to get more content to the players while supporting the devs, but it’s purely a hypothetical compromise that could benefit both parties!
I can tell you what's happening before I even watch the video. They abandoned making improvements to the game since over a year ago and they will keep adding pricey DLC maps until everyone is fed up and stops buying that garbo. The UE5 stuff is just bs to keep your interest in it as long as possible.

All I'm really upset about is that they removed the Ninja Turtle content without any warning to prepare. I had everything on console already, i had lost my PC save prior to the update. I haven't been able to get a PC depot version at all to try and work around the problem. I just really liked that Sewer map, and the PC version just doesn't feel as important to me anymore. I'm looking forward to the Unreal Engine update, but it's weird that the console version is now more superior to me.
I created a goofy skater and I always thought that the animations looked switch. The physics of the game already suck as it is, but the goofy does look funny. That's the one thing Skater XL will always have over this game, STYLE!
playing on manual catch makes continuous flipping redundant so sadly the double flipping is unavoidable unless you catch the board perfectly every single time!
Feb-June isn’t 6 months! The problem is the school yard dlc was so well received, it was inevitable they’d take a massive holiday. They did mention on instagram that there’s a new map dlc that they’re gonna start teasing soon. Fingers crossed for Barcelona, because otherwise it’s gonna be disappointing in comparison to the school yard.
Alot of people are still on last gen with xbox ones and ps4, doing unreal 5 overhaul is gonna be unfair to anyone that has the game on older consoles. So yeah they're pushing on DLCs for any money they could get.
So, you can still get the TMNT stuff, I think. It's a pain in the butt, and you have to get 3rd party software in order to downgrade your Session installation. Once you downgrade, yuou can unlock everything. Make sure it saves. Update the game and you should have everything...Unless they found a way to patch this out. I had everything except the Donnie and Leo and cpl of the TMNT boards. I did this, and bought everything and it 100% worked for me
prio 1 animations prio 2 grinds, they wack and laggy as hell (nvm prio 2 gameplay and physics overall) i really hate the game in a good way it has so much potential but just a lil too arcade-y feeling just feels undone
So : A 5 bucks clothing pack in this game would be a death sentence for Session. People are already fed up with the paid ‘DLC’s’ let alone asking people for another non-branded clothing pack. The switch onto UE5 is nothing but a move to try to stay relevant because with new skate games releasing under UE5 they will get super outdated really fast. For Session ue5 won’t bring anything too new or revolutionary to the table let me tell you that (other than lighting). Also another thing: you can master this game really fast in like a week or so and it gets stale way too fast. I can’t bring myself to play Session these days because it just feels so unsatisfying and anticlimactic. It’s a ‘hop on for 15-20 minutes to get one clip then maybe do it again next month’ kind of game currently (IMO of course)
My biggest problem is that the gameplay and animations have been the exact same since 1.0 dropped with ZERO improvements while they continue to pump out paid DLC. It's such a joke. Give nothing to the people who originally supported you in the beginning but keep pumping out that content that brings you in those sweet sweet dollar bills. The fact that the wheel bounce glitch is still a thing is actually laughable, no throwdown animations... no proper goofy stance. Creature has lost a lot of respect from me and this comes from someone who backed the Kickstarter at the highest tier from the minute it went live.

I'm not holding my breath for the UE5 port, ngl
Honestly dont remember the last time i opened session. Being on console is limiting and the only thing to do is skater xl so we can skate together. Its rough out here
Love the wutang long sleeve bro!
They actually are skate shoes homie vans and converse are the og skate shoe canvas or not
W vid bro 🔥( also where did you get that hoodie it’s sick!)
Sam!!!!
@@Imbo2kLorry!!
Literally says it in the video. And when is the answer not “in the illusory discord”?
The hoodie is from Spee’s Discord I believe but if not it’s in Illusory somewhere!
@@itspigeonthief Ah I found it! Thank you pigeon!!
Which filter are you using in this video? It's looking gorgeous
forget the exact name but i’m using one that boosts the blues. i also boost the saturation slightly in editing!
nacon killed this game, it was rushed out september 2022 and all people have been waiting for since then is physics and animation fixes and better character creation, yet creature have nothing but maps, which yeah we want as well, but they're supposed to drop with big updates, maps are all they've seemed to care about since launch though so I have to believe that's all that's coming now, except for unreal 5 apparently, but they haven't spoken a single word about that in months so who knows if it's even happening anymore, wouldn't be the first time they confirmed it then didn't do it. it's such a shame because they were truly on a roll till nacon came along, I can't believe out of everyone it's EA doing the best job handling a skating game right now.
@@_sam.__ stay mad I guess? I'm just glad they're still actively doing ANYTHING and they've got the whole UE5 update coming so I'm sure there will be some good updates w that.
@@Frontside_Hurricane I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed. I can't get hyped for a ue5 update that has zero information around it after months, and after they already announced it once and then said they couldn't do it last year. I want this game to succeed but they aren't talking and their updates have been severely underwhelming compared to what they used to deliver in early access.
@@Frontside_Hurricane Yooo, close the zipper up after you're finish glazing creature and nacon
I just want them to add more content and fix the animations
mmm this is a very sweet "I told you so" lol
If they just fix the physics and animations this game would easily better than Skater XL. I don't get how its so hard for developers to just fix such a easy problem.
Exactly and they focus on everything else !!
All i want is proper trasition skating and more maps on console.
Tbh I haven’t really been playing session here lately, sucks what happened to it.
Can someone help me, I want to have the same stand position on the board (right foot = back foot as standard). Is it a mod or a setting I oversee?
You want to be regular? It's in the character creation menus
@@Frontside_Hurricane thx!
i think they’re reworking all the animations with the new guy they hired a while ago, and rewiring the game around it. it’s usually the process that takes the longest is this type of games, and they’re also a small team on top of that. I thought we were going to see something some time ago but i guess not
They don’t have an animator any more that guy quit they gone threw 6 so far not looking good
They still don't have the animator they have been talking about for years and years now 🤣🤣🤣 Typical scam
I'd like to see a mod browser for consoles its not as if it can't be done.
I still have the map for the sewers, and I don't think I ever had to pay for it. I was bummed when my game updated I thought I had lost the turtles map and characters but it's still all on there 😅 so that is pretty cool
yo pigeon! what hoodie mod are you wearing in this video :0?
Head over to my Discord, you’ll find it linked in either Illusory or Spee’s!
Well made video 💯
DLC clothing packs are what you think people want? I hope you're wrong!
People just want content and fixes more regularly. DLC clothing packs could just be a way to get more content to the players while supporting the devs, but it’s purely a hypothetical compromise that could benefit both parties!
Start putting ur settings in the description
They are available on my Discord and I have a video pinned on the channel going over them
how get this your clothes??
Hop on my Discord and go to the "discords-i-use" channel to find the modded clothes I use!

we waitin on it

13:05 vert, wallies, wall rides, slappys
no grabs?
I can tell you what's happening before I even watch the video. They abandoned making improvements to the game since over a year ago and they will keep adding pricey DLC maps until everyone is fed up and stops buying that garbo. The UE5 stuff is just bs to keep your interest in it as long as possible.
small company, they claim to drop the dlcs since they're small and they need money to work on the game
The latest dlc was fucking great and you are just a crybaby
@@cadenbrown9635 Bro, I know all the bs they kept feeding us for years. 🤣
@@iwams1 cmon man give them a break. You know they're small, and they hard posted about UE5 so it'll be here. They're not Easy Day haha have some faith in our guys!
@@mewxtwo The games been in development for over 5 years and doesn’t even have a throw down animation, there’s only so much benefit of the doubt people can give them
All I'm really upset about is that they removed the Ninja Turtle content without any warning to prepare.
The community manager has blocked me and about 5 other top fake skate players for politely asking whats up with the game and animations...
damn, bit rude 😬
I created a goofy skater and I always thought that the animations looked switch. The physics of the game already suck as it is, but the goofy does look funny. That's the one thing Skater XL will always have over this game, STYLE!
W man keep it up
I have friends that just play with continuous flipping off so no double flips possible. Personally I leave everything on and suffer!
playing on manual catch makes continuous flipping redundant so sadly the double flipping is unavoidable unless you catch the board perfectly every single time!
@@itspigeonthief damn! I play on manual but didn't realize that somehow. Right!
Yeah idk where I got 6 months from tbh I think I misread something. But yes Barca would be amazing!
No way they removed the sewer map that’s kinda wack but nonetheless W video keep it up brother 💪🏽
The accidental double flip is probably the most annoying thing about the game 😂
1:08 better than XL
SESSSIONNNN ADD HAIRSTYLES AND CLOTHING SIZES AND MY LIFE IS YOURS
How do you get socks in this game? LOL
U buy it at the dudes shop lol😊
They announced a new map in the comments on theyre latest post
Alot of people are still on last gen with xbox ones and ps4, doing unreal 5 overhaul is gonna be unfair to anyone that has the game on older consoles. So yeah they're pushing on DLCs for any money they could get.
unreal 5 id like to see ray tracing tbh and better graphics
Removing Sewer map? That's actually bullshit.
i mean if unreal engine 5 could mean multiplayer im down
11:17 SESSION NEEDS FLANNELS, CARGOS, AND TATTOOS.
This game could have been Skate but they can't figure out online play for some reason, they don't even have cloud save lmao
I want SB dunks
It’s in game as a mod
You can't do the rock challenge!? Buddy:'D
Yea this game never had much life to begin with..
HAIR OPTIONS!!!!!
fix the bounce glitch bro pls bro
preach brother 🙏
yap sesh
The sewer was kind of lame imo... the parking garage is better
Yea make more rants bro
Nacon killed the game, and with that they kinda killed cre-ature as well. IMHO it's that simple, and obviously unbelievably sad.

I want new clothes & Shoes
Yeah i paid for the Ninja turtles and they took it away from me....
If you got the TMNT DLC then you’ll still have it, it got took off the store but anyone who purchased it before then got to keep it.
hopefully they dont turn into lazydaystudio's
whats wrong with buying a game and thats the game. thats how its mostly been since games existed and im fine with it. also about the "fit" u literally just made a video about a game with no character and u seemed to like it
But if we have a skater then why wouldn’t we want to customise our “fit”? If we didn’t have a skater it wouldn’t matter, but we do… so it does matter.
@@itspigeonthief very true, either way good vid :)
this game is actually dead which fucking sucks because i loved it so much
