In this video I share with you a GORGEOUS mini FENDI Peekaboo bag UNBOXING. She's a beauty HOWEVER the alignment is REALLY bad. Should I return it altogether or ask for an exchange? Or just stick with the classic iconic mini peekaboo in black nappa leather since it was originally on my wishlist?
Is having 2 mini peekaboos too much? I love the Fendi peekaboo design as it's very understated chic and the size Mini is perfect for day and night.
Will the woven leather wear well over time? Is it timeless enough? Would love to hear your thoughts.

katie kadel it was such a good price and ticked a lot of my boxes and I’ve been lusting over a mini peekaboo for a few weeks 😂 just a hassle with the misalignment otherwise I wouldn’t maybe possibly second guess this bag. But thinking about it, it is still a lot of money hence why I think it needs to be perfect for my first Fendi bag. So I’m gonna get dressed tomorrow to try it on properly see how I go. I wish there was more reference pics on instagram so I can see how it can be styled etc 😝🥰❤️
I see it’s not lined up.. I was wondering if you can get another one and compare. No you can’t keep a defective bag!! We can’t keep settling for inferior craftsmanship. It’s a stunning bag but please exchange it ok. I love the design and color but if it’s defective what’s the point?

Definitely YAY!!!!! 🙌🙌 I have two Peekaboos and I adore them all! One is the Peekaboo essentially which I bought a year ago and the other is the exact one that you just bought in the same colour. I’ve used my newest one(the woven one) quite a bit becuz I had the previllege to purchase it before it hit the shelves in the stores and that was right before the covid situation became serious. And plus the restrictions here in Korea isn’t that strict so I’ve carried it about a good two weeks straight.
I have to say mine is not very crooked like yours but it is still crooked to the right side. When I bought it from the store, my sales associate told me that because the material is “hand woven”, it is not a problem to have some characters to each bags. My SA showed me three different bags and they were also a bit crooked as well. (The Fendi Baguette in this material was also a bit crooked)
And by using that bag for about two weeks, I’ve noticed that the leather tends to get softer. My SA told me that the bag would soften up over time and it eventually will get a beautifull slouch which you don’t see on mini peekaboos. I personally love the slouchy look on the mini peekaboo because mini peekaboos tend to hold their shape whereas the medium peekaboos slouch over time. That’s why I don’t mind the crooked front because I rarely lock my peekaboos. I just leave the lock open so the slouch show up much well.
If you’re the kind of person that hate slouchy look and your belonging has to be secured, I don’t think you’ll be happy with the distortion on the front when you lock the bag. But if you’re just fine with unlocking your bags and ypu like the slouchy look on peekaboo, I highly recommend you keeping it! I actually store both of my Peekaboos just open and stuff some paper only on the base of the bag so that the leather would not stretch out so much. Hope my comment help you on deciding whether you keep the bag or not! Take care😘

It's beautiful Kim! The color is gorg😍😍😍. It's so perfect for Summer. However, I would definitely exchange (if possible), it does appear to be misaligned. If you can get the same bag...exchange; if an exchange isn't possible...return! You like it, but I don't think you're completely happy with it. Stay well and safe.❤️😘

Such a gorgeous bag! I think if you’re looking for a bag that you can use for only spring/summer you should keep the brown one and get the black one as a more work/everyday bag. But if you want only one with the versatility to wear all seasons and occasions then I say return the brown and get the black 🥰

But I'd return it only because it twists from the side you showed us ...If you can go to the store after lockfdown, and try them on and see if only your bags twists or it's because of this edition bags. The colour of this bag is so chic, can picture it worn with whites or pretty dresses. Would check if another might line up. You have lots of black and prefer this shade. Does the leather smell heavenly. It’s unique and I’m a sucker for anything in tan and gold ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Susie Dominey62 the leather doesn’t smell heavenly unfortunately. It has a processed smell to it, almost plastic if I’m not mistaken 😅😅 I love anything tan too. Such a beautiful colour TFW my dear 💖💖💖

I’m such a peekaboo fan, I’m ALL in with the peekaboo, but I just couldn’t accept the dis alignment on the bag. It would eat away at my soul! So sad too because it’s SUCH a beautiful special combination! Once you use a peekaboo it’s a must!! I’d add several if I could! They are just amazing bags! Can’t wait to hear what you decide! Such a bummer 🥺

Hi Kim!! At first when I saw ur insta post on this peekaboo, I was like 🧐🧐 but now that I saw it on screen, I finally understand why u got it! She is gorgeous!! Photo didn’t do her justice 😊😊 I must say, this design really makes her very unique and stylish. But of cos, the only down side is the ‘twist’ that form. No doubt she is a very gorgeous and unique bag, but if I would to have any uncertainty, I would definitely return it. Cos it’s not a small amount, it’s almost 5k!!
Gorgeous tan color to go with summer & casual outfit liked you mentioned but I think you should look into the alignment issue. Although I can understand this problem on most woven bag. The classic black with GHW is totally different look from this. If money is not an issue at all, go for the black too! I know you love the black heaps! 🤪😀

It's so chic! I say keep it! I just bought my second mini Peekaboo today. I love them! I keep mine open so it wouldn't be a problem for me if u can't get one that doesn't align perfectly. It's not only easier to get into it open, but I prefer the look of it open. That color is so rich. I can see it with all white, cream, grey, denim, navy, green, red and black. It's a beauty! 💖

urgh the peekaboo is one of my favourite styles, I was eyeing your wicker one. I would say if you want a spring/summer bag keep the brown but if you want a multi-seasonal bag return and get a black
Maby after using it the weight of having items in it will loosen up the leather and help line up the turn locks making it easier to close ????
Having the side buttons undone could help with the pulling will you straighten it out?
alexa gallagher perhaps but I doubt by much. When this one is open it’s very misaligned. If I keep it I’ll have to exchange it for another one. And hoping and praying the next one will be more symmetrical if I do decide to keep 🙏❤️

I have a feeling it is the woven material and shifting with how it was stored. It's gorgeous but that would annoy me the inability to close if you want/off center that way it appears. I have the black mini selleria and love it but your woven bag here is a stunner and such a nice choice for summer into fall bag
I love the Fendi peekaboo. I bought the mini one in a light tan color just before the lockdown and the price increase! I think the black one is more versatile though! Even though I adore this bag!

Since it's all leather, after you use it few times and you put your stuff in ,it will give the bag some weight which will eventually adjust itself and that twist on the bag will disappear .The bag is gorgeous and very different, I think you should keep it and give it a chance ❤️
NancywithStyle surprisingly the bag is quite heavy on its own. When I put in my card holder and phone it was heavy. I think the strap needs to be slightly thicker otherwise the strap will stretch and won’t last long. Other than that it’s a gorgeous bag ☺️💖
Hmm 🤔.... I wonder if the structure will hold up ? It’s already wonky - for me it would be a “deal Breaker”. If it doesn’t feel right I’d return it - not sure if it will stand the test of time if it’s already wonky as a new bag . Good luck on your decision girl !!

That's a AMAZING price, it's a color & bag everyone doesn't have 😁 and I want it 🖤 Most of the time with the peekaboos you don't close the turn locks that you're having trouble lining up it may be because how they had it stored before being shipped to you??? And if anything would Fendi be able to help you ? I don't like the side buttons opened (personal preference) but leaving the buttons undone and walking the clasp could help straighten it out? I just love🖤 the bag and think you should keep it , amazing price

I think if I unscrewed the feet and adjusted the base perhaps it might align better but I’m scared to try incase I ruin it.

Love Fendi Peekaboo, a classic and 💖 the color, it is exquisite. i'm still not 100% convinced about the weave design though, and whether it'll turn "ugly" suddenly like what happened with the Mon Tresor or if you'll still love it 5 years from now. To be safe, i'd return for classic black or classic in this color (if available).

Get the mini peekaboo in Napa leather 😂. I’m biased cause it’s my favorite bag in the world. Not as expensive as this one and a lot more versatile and works all year round. This one would look great in the summer but that’s about it. Also it looks like it’s defective and for the price, I think you should return it. The lock should line up properly

I think to return this one and buy the black (even if it might be at a higher price point). I'm iffy about the pull/stretch on the bag due to the woven texture! Correct me if I"m wrong but Fendi peekaboo resell isn't that great so if you choose to sell it later down the track, you might not get your money's worth x

I think it's a defect so I would return it. Can you try another one that's the same? If not, I would say another color. :(
It’s a lovely unusual bag, but should be perfect for the price . I use this decider- if I would have put the item down in store and looked for another without the flaw - I exchange/return.
Love the color for sure but not a fan myself of this hand woven design , I would much more prefer the black with gold hardware you originally were going for ! However it’s about what you love girl ! That alignment alone would drive me insane just knowing it’s there , don’t like the pulling at all
