BTW, the Creator of Corrie, actually regretted the casting of Dennis Tanner, he thought the actor who played him was 'too camp' - and regrets not giving the role to Kenneth Farrington instead. BTW, I love the way Billy is creeping around Emily AFTER finding out about her money LOL.
Bill was a totally different character. Less stubborn and more reasonable…being a single dad he obviously had to learn patience. Some characters just couldn’t be replaced: Len, Elsie and Bet Lynch spring to mind
