Pastor David is there a Bible verse on Felix the governor in the Bible that’s say Felix ordered the death of many Jews please help in this matters thanks 🙏
I totally love your Bible commentary (Enduring Word) I teach the youth in my church and your commentary has helped me so much. I also enjoy learning from your teachings here on UA-cam. Thank you so much Pastor.
On this Earth is suffer and endure our lessons once we learn our lessons here we on to our next learning experience and as we grow 🙏in Love and Compassion and eventually we will be reunited with our Loved Ones and Our Heavenly Father and Jesus and we will Rejoice and grow in Happiness!❤❤❤😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇😇💞💖
Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his saints. Greater is the day of a man's death than the day of his birth. We have the unfortunate limited perspective of a finite being. God sees and he knows things differently.
God is good all the time ,,, "Time spent in prayer is never wasted." If you are reading this, I pray for you, dear father who is reading this guide him or her in all difficult times , I pray amen.
I can not wait for your study Bible to be released. I'm sure it will become my favorite. Your commentary is my go-to first for scripture text and audio. Thank you, Pastor David.
Our been chosen by God is because Christ is THE CHOSEN ONE. You cannot separate being chosen from Christ, HE is the chosen one. We are CHOSEN IN CHRIST. If you are in Christ, you are chosen, BECAUSE you are in Christ! Btw, I'm from the netherlands, and today I discovered this Chanel; thank you for your teachings!
This programme just came up on my page. Never heard of it but the title question caught me as this is something i have been pondering on for some time. I ended up looking at the entire thing. What a blessing it was! Thank you
Homeschool mom here.. Agree to everything Pastor David say. I use christian based curriculum, however I have learned the importance of teaching my boys what the lies m public schools and non believers are believing. And the false religions. Pretty much all things apologetics to them. Of course I teach theses things by the maturity level. This is to help prepare them for the real world and to not be lead astray and stand strong in the truth. I did not grow up in a Christian home. But most of my group of friends growing up did. Sadly the majority of them are not believers. They continue to believe different things.. I have heard from many apologist that the numbers are growing with this trend. I think Mellisa Dougherty has some tips for how she teaches her kids. Sean McDowell is great My go to is Frank Turek for me to help articulate the answer as well as pastor David and Mike winger
Give a thumbs up to help this video to reach more people. I really enjoy your wise and sage answers David. May we all go to scriptures ourselves to verify what the Lord says. Keep on brother.
Although, I knew what was said because my pastor pretty much explained it, as he did here. Thank you for bringing the WORD of God back to my remembrance and context through spiritual and natural definition. With so many deaths around me, my late husband on 3/2014, my godbrother on 4/ 2024, a dear friend on 4/2024, and many more. This video was a reassurance and rest for my soul .❤
Let's not forget the gruesome deaths of the prophets of the bible, the apostles and many early saints... Thanks and Praise to our beloved The Lord, Jesus Christ death for the believer is not as for the unbeliever. 1 corinthians 15:12-58, 1 Thess 4:13-18 The following verse always comforts me when i have to say goodbye to someone whom i perceived as faithful to God : Isaiah 57:1=2 "The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death."' God is Sovereign and nothing in creation happens without Him having allowed it to happen and all things work towards His good and perfect purpose.
Is not just our life has a meaning , but also our death has a significance. To understand the death of each apostle of The Lord, first You need to study their life mission, then ask meditate and contemplate alongside with The Holy Ghost, to understand the answer who is meaningful for your life also
Just happened on this video and was pleased with your thoughtful answers and subscribed for the future. Following up on the first question, how do you interpret Job 14:5? “Since his days are determined, the number of his months is with You; and You have set his limits so that he cannot pass." (NASB) God sets the limits of our lifespan? Are these maximum limits, and events could happen that would shorten life prior to these limits? (e.g., suicide, accident, not taking care of our health, God's intervention) Or, is this saying that God sets the limits with His foreknowledge?

Thank you for your comment! There are many who wrongly believe that there is no such thing as a Biblical divorce (a divorce that is recognized by God). Pastor David strongly affirm what the Bible teaches: that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), and that divorce does not fulfill God’s original plan for marriage (Matthew 19:4-5). The Bible says that divorce is God’s concession to the hardness of the human heart (Matthew 19:8), yet it is God’s concession. This allowance, by the very definition of the idea of divorce, breaks the marriage bond when it is done upon the Biblical reasons (either sexual immorality according to Matthew 19:7-8 or abandonment by an unbelieving spouse according to 1 Corinthians 7:12-15). You can read all about the many misconceptions and misunderstandings about divorce and remarriage according to the Bible: enduringword.com/answering-wrong-teachings-marriage-divorce-remarriage/ Enduring Word Team
Enduring Word Team: Very sorry to hear of your loss, the pain of such tragedy is often quite difficult to bear, even many years on. While God is able to do all things, and nothing is outside of His control, some have found it helpful to compare God's relation to tragedies to what happens in a prison. The prison guards and staff have all of the power, all the surveillance, and the capacity to stop or prevent any evil from occurring, whenever they want, with the right resources & planning. They set the rules and code of conduct for everyone. Yet, no matter how thorough, direct, or severe the guards try to control or intervene (or protect), there will always be a prisoner or group of prisoners who conspire to cause trouble and pain. Even in the most maximum security prisons, or among the most well-behaved prisoners, many will oppose or evade the protections that are put in place, and cause terrible tragedies and pain. Does this mean the "guards" are not in control? That they are powerless, or even evil for "allowing" terrible things? Or, does this rather mean that the wickedness of man and the evils of this world are so prevalent and widespread, and our sinful nature is far more to blame than those above us who provide for us and watch over us. The comparison of life to a prison and God to a guard is flawed, overly simplistic, and very unflattering, but it's just a small illustration of how the wickedness of man occurs despite overwhelming power and authority. - Enduring Word Team
That's a disgusting questio as a believer God is the only one who can judge. It is not the reason if you are missionary you will not die whatever happens to our life the it's the will of the Lord it's not a reason that anything your doing in this world will keep us alive. Remember that we are save by the grace and mercy of our God not for what we did in this world the everlasting life is not in this world but it's in His kingdom.
I could be wrong but I don’t think God created the world with cancer. Everything He made was good and perfect. It’s the fall of man and sin that brings these things in. Am I wrong ?
Pastor Lance replies - You are correct. But ultimately, God does allow the consequences of sin. That is a necessary corollary to our ability to make real choices.

Job 14:5 was Job's comment on the length of life that God allows for a person.

What translation will the study Bible be in?
God created a perfect world yet by Adam’s choice to sin that created a fallen world and therefore we now live in a broken world

I lost both my sons..a lady from a local church said it's because I watched "Star Wars " ridiculous 😢😮
That does sound very ridiculous and not likely to be the case. Sorry to hear about your sons, praying for peace and reconciliation.
