I think it's important we remember Virginia Tech as well. I know Colombine is important cuz it was the first of many school shootings, but I think everyone seems to forget about Virginia Tech and others massacres like Santa Fe, Sandy Hook and Pulse. Those people are survivors too and, in my opinion, they were as traumatic as Colombine was. Not everything is about Colombine, I would love to watch more documentaries about Virginia Tech, there are so many questions unsolved still and would like to see how are the survivors going, teachers, students, everyone.
are you rich? do you have home to sleep nights ? does you get bulied? do you have a good life ? if you have positive answers then you dont know the murder life because some peoples are mentaly ill
And 6 years later, Sandy Hook happens. When will they see the need to do something!!! It’s not normal that school shootings has now become the norm. That’s not okay!!! When finally the phone wrung and it was him saying he was ok back in his dorm a cop saved his life he had been walking to class two buildings away. Thinking what if he had been closer to the building earlier ! It still haunts me to this day that I could of lost brother! And then he ends up coming home two days later shattered he finally opens up to us that his best friend had been shot and killed and was a Corp cadet with him! This still haunts him but made him go onto the army and become now a major! We will never forget this horrible day that no one else can imagine!
This is so sad😞
may they rest in peace.
God bless her and everyone else effected
According to the FBI,...........it never really took place. Not a single fatality.
What would cause a person to act out like this
so sweet, smart, and poised.
Cho, protector of the weaker ⚡🙏🏼
I drive for UPS and I deliver to a couple schools throughout my route and it’s kind of annoying to have to go thru security and get buzzed in thru the security system but watching this and columbine, u understand why, the security is so much better than it was when I was in school
Seeing this makes me sick to my stomach.. to grasp this really happened and that someone is capable of doing such things is so difficult.
Really sad.🙏.
it’s so shocking that one person can cause and do so much
Sure hardly anyone was thinking of that April day in 2007 but glad Virginia Tech won the ACC Tournament final last night. Almost 15 years have passed.
Still so surreal to see VT and the area I grew up in all over the news and internet for one of the most horrific shootings... I remember going there a couple days after for a memorial and it was quiet. It was like you were in a trance and you couldn't even hear the cars going by or the birds but just the ringing in your ears. It was so sad...
Rip to all the victims 😔 💛❤️🔥
According to the FBI,....there were none
@@virginiatechwasaconfirmeda3861 your user name is this video title oh my god. why you do that?

My sympathies, tears, thoughts, prayers and condolences are with the families of the thirty-two people who lost their lives at Virginia Tech and my hopes are with the survivors and their families. I am extremely proud of Kristina Anderson for choosing to turn her pain into purpose by becoming a School Safety and Violence Prevention activist and I am proud of Dr. Nowak for honoring the memory of his wife by turning the second floor of Norris Hall into a place for Peace Studies and Violence Prevention. We all have to work together to stop potential school shooters before they strike.
my family didn’t live in virginia but my sister when to college there, so when we heard the news, i was shocked but luckily nothing happened to my sister but her friends got shot… and i just felt so bad for her, i feel so bad for the families of victims/ survivors because all of their lives where in danger 4/16/2007 💜 🕊edit : ( may those beautiful souls rest in peace 🕊❤️)
powerful
Till this day, it has been the back of my mind. I am an advocate for school safety.
proud to be a current hokie. April 16 holds much value here as it should
It"s horrible what they went through and now has become the norm these days. Students shouldn't be in fear that their school might have an active shooter killing people. It's sad this is our world. 😭😭😭
Crazy to have that one chicks luck, she survived Columbine in 1999, and was at Virginia Tech for this shooting
Someone will Always try to top this type of event .
Sandy Hook - 27
Virginia Tech - 32
Orlando Nightclub - 49
Las Vegas - 58
Utøya/Oslo - 77
I'll never forget this. So horrible.
I was on campus when this happened, saw the aftermath, the hundreds of cops and lockdown on campus, I got stuck there until evening after they figured out what had happened
In memory of the victims
#20yrs #columbine
Good girl for everything you are doing. You are amazing,
I think it's important we remember Virginia Tech as well. I know Colombine is important cuz it was the first of many school shootings, but I think everyone seems to forget about Virginia Tech and others massacres like Santa Fe, Sandy Hook and Pulse. Those people are survivors too and, in my opinion, they were as traumatic as Colombine was. Not everything is about Colombine, I would love to watch more documentaries about Virginia Tech, there are so many questions unsolved still and would like to see how are the survivors going, teachers, students, everyone.
if I'm not wrong one of the reasons Cho was bullied was because of his race; being told that he should 'go back to China' and that he 'ate anakes'.
Just one question. Why? Why would they do that(
are you rich? do you have home to sleep nights ? does you get bulied? do you have a good life ? if you have positive answers then you dont know the murder life because some peoples are mentaly ill
@@lifesucks4950not an excuse
And 6 years later, Sandy Hook happens. When will they see the need to do something!!! It’s not normal that school shootings has now become the norm. That’s not okay!!! All we can do is pray over our loved ones each and every single day!! God we ask for grace for the victims loved ones, the survivors and anyone watching!
Then 5 years later Parkland happened then 6 years later Uvalde happened
That’s why when you hear shots you better duck or run like usain bolt
So sad 😢..
The day of the shooting I turned one month old

R.I.P. Jocelyne Couture-Nowak from Montreal, Quebec / Cape Forschu, Nova Scotia. Was a French language professor at Virginia Tech.
It's so strange having done school work in Norris Hall for 3-4 years and that it was the very building that all this happened.
She's my Hero. Brave young lady..
April 16, 2007 the day after Chuckie Finster turns 18 years old at the time right before the Virginia Tech tragedy, when he was a Senior 12th Grade at High School about to eventually graduate and off to College.
Don’t read the comments you’ll lose faith in humanity even more. These horrible events HAPPENED and these people DIED!
"Faith" still exists?
this happened on my birthday...
April 16th is my birthday too!

I think every single college student should be trained in firearm use just like a police recruit. Mandatory. Included in the tuition is a Glock 19.
I mean sure makes it easier for school shooters to use a gun
thanks bozo
@@lucky9293 It also makes it easier for the school shooter to die.
