This is an absolute gap in the market - learning how to make friends, how to be intimate without getting physical, how to approach the opposite sex and relaxation exercises to reduce anxiety when talking to other people.

Loneliness, working long hours, having no life in the big cities of Japan is a real thing

I am definitely not a fan of Tataemae and Honne which is just they have two faces literally, they won't express their real feelings to people they don't know or trust and will hide them they will only share their real self with those who are close to them emotionally which tend to be really good friends and family. In western culture we call that being two faced or having a facade. I just think that its got a lot of downsides to it because Japanese people are almost passive aggressive in a lot of ways and to me that is super unhealthy. People think oh yeah so polite but in all honest they could be really thinking "I hate you" but will pretend to care when they really don't. Like someone says it is about keeping the harmony but its almost like a pot that is boiling and it's ready to explode, it's the pressure and expectations of the society that really stresses Japanese people out in a lot of ways and makes them unhappy. I also think that the way people are avoiding relationships is just not realistic, you have to put effort into any relationship you have even if its friends and family and if you think you will avoid drama lol that is funny. The thing is life is life, we have ups and downs. Avoiding life and reality isn't going to go away it just isolates more which causes depression and then it causes other issues. So I think that Japan needs to really have a campaign for mental health. One of their biggest issues is needing to acknolwedge mental health instead of thinking it's taboo.

Well said and I couldn't agree more. I was wondering if you are a Japanese lady or a Gaijin lady. If you are a Japanese lady, I admire you for being so honne and daring to make such insightful comments.
If you are a Gaijin lady, I also admire you for your discernment to have made such insightful comments. Aside from Tatemae vs honne, 男尊女卑 is a big issue in Japan and can cause mental and emotional problems. Woman enpowerment is very much needed in Japan and I reckon Asagi san is a lady who supports women empowerment in Japan - correct me if I am wrong.
Asagi san is one special and extraordinary lady in Japan. She is not afraid to speak up problems/issues in Japan. She is honest and pretty direct and she is great.
I wish there would be more Japanese ladies like her - voice out and be true to themselves to protect their mental health.
      Have a lovely day!

Its normal and reasonable. For example, you're not completely you when you're working (you act more professional, polite, etc)

These webcasts are far too long in length. To keep good attention I think under 20 minutes is enough.
Because this is too long I will just keep scrolling through the video quickly to get it over and done with under the 20 minutes.

Marina, if you want to take a dive into the temporary japanese culture of sexuality and relationships in english language and with gags I'd highly recommend the channel @Meshida. Its title might be confusing (sth. with "comedy"), but its videos are not only funny but also informative.
