Man when you get in a tight spot, and you know you're alone cuz your damn best friend bailed, with the odds are 4 on you and you're trying to run through your head to figure out how you're going to deal with this...and when your family comes full speed on his tricked out mongoose and throws it down like it's a huffy...and then your deranged adopted kamikaze cousin flys up followed by your sisters boyfriend, his brother and his friend and your family says "we heard (me) was getting jumped and wanted to watch. We won't interfere til your through, then, everything he got, each one of you gets."
We shook hands and I got my knife back my absentee parent had given me, which is what started the whole affair. A couple years after, the one who stole it got in a jam and I was able to help him out when I didn't have to get involved. That was about to tail end of expecting fights to be fists and boots, the kids enter the age of the fifth grader shoot outs 😔

@@nighcorerehon6827 Respectfully, the two traumas don't compare. Getting bullied and losing people who are close to you are two very different levels of grief. Both valid and leave a trauma, but one is clearly harder to recover and come back from, and cuts deeper. It's like comparing a large lake to the ocean.
The street life involves getting bullied plus potentially losing people. Which is worse than if you only get bullied at school but don't have your friend potentially getting gunned down as well. Imagine already being upset because of grieving a friend and THEN still getting bullied. That's just objectively worse.

    Two kinds of bullied people
Nick: Cry about everything in life with a whiny attitude because life didn't go your way.
GSP: Grows stronger, maintains composure, and a good attitude.
I'm white, grew up in Detroit and Flint Michigan. My family was the only white family around in Detroit so it wasn't good for me and I had no brother to help me. Had someone break in and beat my family while holding us at gun point and that was just the beginning. I had nowhere to go, school was rough because my mind was always focused on how to survive the day instead of work and I wasn't allowed to go outside at home becaise it wasn't safe and we were constantly getting stared down by all the black people, even if we had a curtain open some of them would stand there staring into pur house so we couldn't even keep curtains open. To make an incredibly long story short I had a life like Nicks, maybe worse Idunno but his story sounds like a typical Tuesday to me. Instead of growing up cocky with a chip on my shoulder crying about how bad life is I did like GSP, moved on, very kind and humble, learned some boxing, wrestling, bjj, and weight/momentum control. My first fight I actually had when I couldn't take the bullying anymore was 5 dudes who were all my size and bigger surrounded me to stomp me into the ground for the fun of it, at the end of the fight I wouldn't say I won but none of them looked any better than I did. After the word got around what happened the flood gates opened, everyone wanted to fight me especially the toughest guys around. So far to this day I haven't lost a fight *knock on wood* but today would be different lol as I am too old to be fighting on top of injuries that would probably instantly put me down if I took a hit to one.
I have way more respect for someone who can come out a nice good guy like GSP than someone that's gonna use it as a crutch to carry out a tough guy attitude like Nick.
