Dude it's not a competition over who got bullied the most. If you are pissed because you went through harder stuff, well guess what, there are people who went through harder stuff than you. The problem is not that Gsp opened up, it's that you didn't before. Thinking talking about your problems shows weakness is a big problem because everyone has weaknesses and strenghts that others don't. That's why we are here. To help eachother out.
Two kinds of bullied people Nick: Cry about everything in life with a whiny attitude because life didn't go your way. GSP: Grows stronger, maintains composure, and a good attitude. I'm white, grew up in Detroit and Flint Michigan. My family was the only white family around in Detroit so it wasn't good for me and I had no brother to help me. Had someone break in and beat my family while holding us at gun point and that was just the beginning. I had nowhere to go, school was rough because my mind was always focused on how to survive the day instead of work and I wasn't allowed to go outside at home becaise it wasn't safe and we were constantly getting stared down by all the black people, even if we had a curtain open some of them would stand there staring into pur house so we couldn't even keep curtains open. To make an incredibly long story short I had a life like Nicks, maybe worse Idunno but his story sounds like a typical Tuesday to me. Instead of growing up cocky with a chip on my shoulder crying about how bad life is I did like GSP, moved on, very kind and humble, learned some boxing, wrestling, bjj, and weight/momentum control. My first fight I actually had when I couldn't take the bullying anymore was 5 dudes who were all my size and bigger surrounded me to stomp me into the ground for the fun of it, at the end of the fight I wouldn't say I won but none of them looked any better than I did. After the word got around what happened the flood gates opened, everyone wanted to fight me especially the toughest guys around. So far to this day I haven't lost a fight *knock on wood* but today would be different lol as I am too old to be fighting on top of injuries that would probably instantly put me down if I took a hit to one. I have way more respect for someone who can come out a nice good guy like GSP than someone that's gonna use it as a crutch to carry out a tough guy attitude like Nick.

And how many people get bullied only for it to destroy their self confidence ? There are no excuses for bullying, even if it can make some people evolve it is still a devastating thing to do.
That moment when Nick said “How many times has someone put a gun to your head.” was so real. And hearing the tone in his voice. That little crackle… That was too real for me.
Man i love GSP for wt he has accomplished but bullying is something 90% of the boys goes through and gone through
There are levels and levels, brotha. You can’t really compare. And that number you took out of your ass.
The “hopeless person” line is the only one that matters, I don’t know nicks life, but I know that life. I also can’t say gsp didn’t ever feel the same
Gsp is sat there thinking awkward!!!
Gsp is the goat 👍 khabib & his father rate him one of the greatest of all time. I agree?? 👍 or not ?
He was probably thinking, "I'm not impressed by your childhood"
@@realconfigs Which is stupid because Nick went through tough shit
@@realconfigs lol
@@srr3097 not hating on you just food for thought. Nick’s tribulations weren’t meant to impress people they were meant to mold him into who he is and that goes for everyone, I don’t like the way he’s trying to assert that on gsp and that’s probably why gsp is not impress. It’s an unfair comparison and nick is trying to paint a unfair picture that takes away from gsp’s life experience which is a close minded selfish thing to do
GSP had to get private lessons from the fucking COMMENTATOR on how to throw a kick properly.....
I don't hear stories like this, because I've been through 1000 fight. 20 at a time with weapons. I have a angel on my shoulder that I lived through it.
Shit !!! That shit is REAL!!💯💯👍
That "I doubt he was ever a hopeless person" hit hard. There's real pain behind that statement.

This is some good shit right here. This dude was a hardened caretaker from a very young age. This man has had to make some IMPOSSIBLE decisions for the betterments of his family. Always been a Nick D fan. Life is life. And this man has been someone to look up to for years.
They don't realize that the Diaz brothers are counter bullies. Counter bullies are the BMFs.
TF he literally sounds like Walter White Jr. 😂💀
Bullies are the weakest people of them all
Gsp was spot on, Nick acted like a bully and it reminded Gsp of his youth......Nick didn't have a bong hit for a day and all this spilled out.
Lmao did you literally watch the video on mute bro? Listen to Nick and try as hard as you can to use your brain up there in your skull to think about what he's saying.
@@Owen-C1997 I swear kids intentionally miss the point of videos just for a response. He definitely watched it on mute
You're way off dude. Growing up in the 209 would eat somebody like you alive. GSP grew up in Quebec City with a strong family in a posh neighborhood. I'm sure what he went through was traumatic to him but it's totally different in an impoverished neighborhood like the 209 or many other places across the United States.

Diaz brothers are unique. They are living legends.
Nick was an absolute superstar. There will never be another like him.
In my opinion nicks one of the realist dudes in the ufc, he's wise as hell too. Him n his brother need the credit they deserve. Couldn't belive nates networth when I looked it up. Fucken guys a pioneer

What lmao no he said that cuz that’s a normal thing for bullies to do especially in the early 2000s😂 has nothing to do gsp having a buzz cut at the moment

They never seen two brothers come in raw with zero fear zero energy and still go hard
I am from Stockton and I believe this man went through a lot growing up. Much love and prayers to these brothers who keep it real and 💯 all the way. My son went to your trainers boxing gym in Manteca CA. Shout out ✌️
It’s what makes us! On point

That was a great speech. You can tell he was getting emotional

@@PokeAlotaSmot420 Of course it wouldn’t. Why do you think Nick took 5 years out? It had nothing to do with drugs, he had a bad encounter with a doorframe.

GSP : "Nick, I am not impressed by your tales of struggle."
The things we go through backs us hard asf. I respect my bullies
GSP: “Nevermind.”
Everything he said has nothing to do with him being a bully😂 he just tried to justify his actions by talking about his hardships
No he’s saying that GSP doesn’t know what a real bully is if he thinks Nick is a bully. Nick doesn’t pick on the weak and defenseless, that’s what bullies do.
@Akaya7777 Incorrect there are stories of people (non-fighters) hanging out with the Diaz brothers and they randomly start fights with strangers. Check Shane Gillis for one example. Protecting yourself is different but when you're starting shit with people you know you could clearly hurt, well that's a bully.
@@Akaya7777 that’s not what he said tho. He listed a buncha hardships he went thru lol. “How many times has a gun been out to your head George?”. Literally has nothing to do with bullying he’s just making excuses. “We all gotta go through things in life” tryna justify his actions
@@mattlee1071 Idk Ive met Nick and Nate on multiple occasion’s and they have always been extremely kind to everyone that was around them when I have been in their presence. I find it hard to believe they’d act the complete opposite of that way unprovoked.
@@noahmollon1896 he’s showing that there’s level’s to being bullied, sure George was picked on, but his life was never in danger, the Diaz brothers grew up in a dangerous area, so they became dangerous. Nick’s whole point is that GSP is judging them while coming from a much more comfortable spot in life. People with more cushioned lives often want to look down upon people that were in tougher situations that they have never experienced.
He almost started crying , that was some real shit
Bad neighborhood or not being in the streets is a choice.
He could have just hung out inside if it was so dangerous outside 😮
Past personal trauma doesn’t excuse bad behaviour against others, it simply explains it.
GSP was a wealthy kid growing up. The Diaz brothers paved the way for the ones living in the streets. A TRUE GANGSTA

Dude it's not a competition over who got bullied the most. If you are pissed because you went through harder stuff, well guess what, there are people who went through harder stuff than you. "Sir this is a Wendy's"

This is why true mma community loves the Diaz brothers.
Nick sounds like a really down to earth guy
Two kinds of bullied people
Nick: Cry about everything in life with a whiny attitude because life didn't go your way.
I have way more respect for someone who can come out a nice good guy like GSP than someone that's gonna use it as a crutch to carry out a tough guy attitude like Nick.
gsp got bullied. Nick had friends shot and his high school sweet hearth kill her self that aint the same. You talk about your fighting prowes in a video with 2 former champs in it. grow up
@@baldcuts5977op is still right though. GSP still got bullied, no matter how light it is. I'm not devaluing Diaz bros hard life too, but Nate here is devaluing GSP experience because in his eyes GSP had it easy. Getting bullied is still a serious case.
I would've understood Nate's case if he held the high ground in this matter, but he had to pull the "my struggles are harder than yours."
Gum in your hair was funny AF
Respect for all fighters!!🖤🥊
When Nick could actually get a sentence out within 30 seconds. Nowadays that whole comment would have taken 7 min for him to say
So true
I was bullied when I was young. Learned a few things and saw the bullies every time I fought when I was older.
Belittling someone else’s struggles is such a big man move
Just cause you’ve been bullied doesn’t mean you can’t become one , a person is more likely to bully someone because they’re getting bullied themselves
