ok so its pretty much a miniature Kemper or Fractal Axe FX 2 for distortion? so cool! this is the future. im still gonna keep old school with anolog pedals and tubes/solid states though.. who knows i might sell out.
In this video there are 2 inputs and 2 outputs with one of each circled. The images on your website show only 1 input and 1 output. Which is the final version and what are are the 2nd set for? Stereo? Dual/Parallel distortion paths?
hmm.... after BIAS Amp Head/Rack, I was expected a BIAS FX Rack to get all kind of effects, to be used in a 4 cable method with the Amp Head/Rack and have both distortion, comp, etc pre-Amp... and Delay, Reverb post-Amp. Can we just have a simple and easy way to have a complete rig?
Positive Grid One great thing would be a BIAS Pedalboard, with DSP to run any FX, but could also be integrated with a BIAS Head/Rack to select presets and control the amp/fx, and could be used in a 4 cable method to have both pre and post amp FX... I'm sure you're working on plenty things, I'm just trying to voice my opinion to hopefully help you to do so. I've been in product develop for a while, so I know it's more complicated than that. Here's just an overall picture. Cheers!
Oh I was just curious because I've seen different images of the BIAS distortion and in some you can see it reads 'pro' right below the word 'distortion' maybe it was just a change of design?
Guys, can i match guitar preamps as well and use this unit as a preamp into the return of the fx loop? can i match, just saying, a kemper profile with the cab sim on and get good results? If you clear those questions im making an instant purchase RIGHT NOW.
Hmmm...these things can be done but with mixed results. It really is designed to match pedals/overdrive effects. The way the pedal hardware and software is designed, it matches up to recreate those types of tones. You'd really need the BIAS Head/Rack to successfully match preamps/Kemper profiles.

Raphael Robert technically you can replicate anything digitally just like fuzz can be recorded and played back digitally on an mp3 and such. the question is the quality of the digital sample. this isn't some shitty Line 6 preamp bullshit bias is really good.
I can appreciate the difference but Im just saying it is possible to digitally recreate any sound it is just hard and would probably cost a lot of money for a sample good enough to emulate a real one. Its much better to get a real fuzz pedal I agree, I just want to clarify the ability of digital sound.

There is no place on the page to pre-order it????? I want to pre-order NOW but can't :(
I wonder how or if it matches fuzz pedal like a Zvex Mastotron, Univox Superfuzz etc. Not to typical
This looks very interesting!
I NEED THIS
When is the bias pedal tone cloud coming out? Is it already out? Cuz i cant find it and really want to see what other people have made
Very very soon.
Positive Grid how soon is very very soon? Its been 2 weeks
Can this match an amplifiers preamp? Also if modulation is put into the chain will it accurately match that with a dirt pedal?
And will there be an ability to run two pedals at once, ie an overdrive after a fuzz

Yeah, the stereo version was a prototype. We ended up with the mono version for final production unit.
Works as preamp?🙈
Any idea on the price for this one? I'm eager to get it!!
pricing information is coming next week ;)
Rock out! Thank you.

since it has midi, can you use it as a midi controller for bias desktop and amp for PC?
Great it is wireless?
Look at behind the pedal, there is a button wireless, maybe to communicate to Bias software
Yes, the wireless to communicate with BIAS PEDAL software.
great feature!!
Will you need to purchase bias fx in order to use it?
Nope, you can plug and play. You do need some type of amp or amp modeler to plug it into just like with a traditional distortion pedal.
Bias as in preference?
can it do Octavia type fuzzes?
hope i can afford.. awesome btw.
if you're hoping.. and praying that you'll have enough.. don't buy it ._. save up lol
true
Does it put the signal through digital conversion?
Yes, it converts to digital
This is a fucking awesome idea..great, great
Hey guys, What's the difference between the Bias distortion and the Bias distortion PRO?
For starters, BIAS Distortion Pro doesn't exist. However, you might be talking about BIAS AMP vs BIAS AMP Pro?
Oh I was just curious because I've seen different images of the BIAS distortion and in some you can see it reads 'pro' right below the word 'distortion' maybe it was just a change of design?
btw thanks for taking the time to answer :)
We're happy to answer all of your questions!

How do you setup the app with your guitar?
Prepare yourselves for tiered pricing.
Mac only or is Windows or Linux supported as well?
Mac and Windows are supported, Michael.
well, then I'm not supporting you

fuckin finally let me go get my wallet
I guess people will be buying pedals only to clone and return for full money back.
shut up and take our money (within reason lol) :)
Within reason? I hope so....my credit card started to weep....
D:
"Fuzz" lol ! the pedal is a good idea, but real fuzz fans hates digital fx !

J Pancoast yep bias is cool, and obviously their fuzz are the best i've found in modulation, but it's far from a real fuzz pedal ^^
