Just a little advice. From experience, Samsung will 100% nerf the brightness on your TV when new TV's come out. Unplug it from the internet if you are going to keep it in the long run.
I also got an S95C 55" on Clearance for $700. Thankfully my OCB is good and I get No Blackouts. There is NO TV better than the S95C Period. Not even a LG G4. I play Marvel Vs Capcom 2 at 1440p using a Marseille Upscaler and it's flawless. My Mac Mini M4 delivers 10-bit 144hz 4K HDR with NO issues and I am on the same 2000 Firmware.
Any update does default back the service menu mods, fair warned. Not a big issue since it’s a quick fix. Personally don’t mind updates. Ik the S95B had a terrible one in past, but I’d reason that it was a 1st gen panel they were pushing way too much, so it was somewhat warranted.
I had the Samsung q990b while very clear and lots of bass. It's a glorified 5.1 system with no front separation. Never settle for a soundbar. It's not a good investment. I couldn't sell it and got a little less than half for it back.
Sucks to see you have issues, I hope the replacement goes smoothly. :) I also really like your sneaky attempt to get an S90D that you told us about in a previous video. :D Also good to know the firmware update didn't mess anything up permanently (apart from the menu icons at least).
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 I don't really know, something about controlling the TV with external things, idk... but that was lagging and causing bugs on my TV while using in the computer and I discovered it has some problems so disabling it is for the better.
DON'T DO IT!!! Edit: Ok I wrote this before I watched the video, well I guess it's too late. Just to be clear for other owners who might read this: DONT UPDATE your Samsung TV - in fact I'd recommend to disconnect it from the internet (because Samsung might force an Update on you even if you don't want it). With Samsung you just never know when they might screw something up with an Update. Sith teh the S95C, FM 1310 is the best one and you shouldn't update further beyond that since they introduced some bugs, mainly with motion where there are some frame skipping issues in certain kinds of scenes.
Yeah I was on 1310 for months and it auto updated to 1430 after declining the update so I just disconnected it from the internet as I just use my Amazon fire TV cube 1310 is better to be honest do not update
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 the 2011/2013 Is actually the latest update for these TVs that introduces Samsungs One UI to the TVs. It's the big update and possibly worth testing out before swapping the TV. I'm personally interested in this update for my S90C since my girl accidentally allowed the update to 1430 from 1310 back when I bought the TV. The 14xx are the updates that introduced motion issues and ever since then I'm waiting for the good update.
@@plasmatvforgaming9648 You can download the update from the website and update it over USB if you don't get the update OTA. For example I see the update on the website for my exact model but I still didn't get notification about it on the TV (I'm still on 1430 so maybe that's why, not sure)

Sh1t my auto update is on mine is 2000 now 🥲 edit: i think my tv didn't update yet my service menu settings still the same but it says current version is 2000
For me my s95c has no tin sound, it's perfect and I love it ❤
Picture quality is off the chart
@plasmatvforgaming9648 I did a uniformity test on mine it's perfect, may be your panel has an issue, and tin sound speaker issue.
I didn’t know “Factory, Factory” got you out of the service menu! I was always resetting my TV, lol.

I unplugged mine from the Internet, and it keeps hooking itself back up to it and updating anyway
I'll check and make sure that wifi is off at all times and hit forget network s9 the TV doesn't know the wifi password

I've heard that separate speakers are better than high-end sound bars. I have 4 speakers surrounded, and it sounds very nice together
its the new samsung os update policy. Now it gets the yearly OS updates up to "7 years" this menu is the same as the s95d now.
I see

I don't see anything catastrophic so far
Did you check the audio pos-update?
It's still broken. I made a short about it
Hello, what effect does setting screen saver brightness to 0 have or what does it do specifically, thank you
It turns off dimming to protect (ASBL). If you have a static picture on screen, it won't dim
Remeber to disable: Conection > Multi Control - because it impacts performance.
What's that for?

I'm replacing the TV this Monday, that's why I tried the update
Wierd, my s90c does not reset any service menu changes after a update, maybe iam lucky 😄
Maybe it's different. Thanks for sharing that
Update using a USB ?
It would be great if we could download any Update and keep them to revert backing the case of any issues
Lo primero que voy hacer cuando venga mi s90c es dejarlo sin internet 😂 y ponerle Apple TV
Lo mejor que haces
Odd, my current firmware is 2011. 🤔
Different regions get different Updates with LG, I guess Samsung is the same
