- First time I'm editing these two and I enjoyed so much doing it!
They are an amazing love story, hope we see some more action between them next season.
For those of you who don't know this show I 100% recommend watching it, it's such a great show, but so TERRIBLY underrated.

We know that Morse never married, but, for Heaven sake, we can see the chemistry between these two, at least for the fans, before the series eventually ends, for all our loyalty to the show, have them actually declare their love for each other and spend the night together, even if something tragic happens to her in the end, at least they finally say what they feel....PLEASE!

I know they constantly ephasize that Morse never married throughout the Inspector Morse series, but what if he did marry. Joan has to be dead at the end, because that would explain why we never hear of her. But what if she and Morse married quietly and very briefly, then she dies. It would make everytime Morse mentioned his not marrying more tragic.

At least they deserve a good romance, a love child or something that will bond them forever.
I want them to be together so much. It’s not for lack of trying… he is just so broken and she is looking for someone safe, Morse isn’t safe, kind of a bad boy which all of us ladies or at least me was attracted to… but in the end never went well. Still it would be nice for one last romance between the two even if it doesn’t work in the end. I think she will marry Strange and that will be strange fir everyone! Love this show!!!!
I don't think he was a 'bad boy,' just someone who didn't have much love in his life so didn't know how to express deep feelings.

I don't see how they could love each other, if both are afraid or don't understand each other as a couple, the nurse was an opportunity for Morse to have a normal relationship, she balances it, Joan on the contrary is a constant tension, I don't know how they see it as love
