Josh you did an impeccable job with this interview. Great questions, you let him finish his thoughts. Andy seems to be a discerning, humble, legit guy that drops so much knowledge. Thanks for the content.

That was a terrific interview - I am in another country chasing different deer species but so much of what Andy said was still the same hunting and very helpful to me.

Before watching this, i had never heard of Andy May except for you Josh talking about him a few times... not to take anything away from any other guests but this was by far my favorite show. Some of the things Andy talked about caused me to look at the topography of some spots / areas ive hunted and kinda caused my jaw to drop like i just had palms read lol. I had never done the math and put 2 n 2 together. Awesome show

Man Josh, that was a really great podcast, and the timing couldn’t be better. I really love the selflessness of Andy May, truly another gentleman of the sport. Having killed 4 bucks in the past 5 years over a decoy, I loved the fact that you spoke about decoys for a while. That was some great genuine conversation and very easy to listen to and interpret. Great questions asked by everyone, and it was nice to step away from some of the norm conversations. I was in chores around the house mode last night, but I might have to listen to that one twice. Great show you two and thank you both for everything you do for hunting and the average slug like me. Best wishes this year!!💪🏼👊🏼🦌

Wow what an eye opening question about giving up trail cameras or glassing. Talk about an awakening question. Andy had to choke out I’d give up glassing. But wow do I get it. My how things change without realizing it.

I want to see Dan in a saddle in a rut funnel on a smaller more urban piece of public! Dan would do well but it would be very interesting.

Andy may is a great hunter and seems to be a great guy. He’s definitely a killer. At the end I was a little let down…once again we look down on the landowner who does his best to be a steward to the herd in his area to harvest larger deer. And we praise the “working class hunter” who hunts public and hunts out of state and gets it done. OUT OF STATE! What!!!??? I’m a landowner and glad to be bcuz if it wasn’t for owning my own piece that I can hunt without interference my hunting would be very limited bcuz I am working class! How can you say these landowners aren’t like 99% of us, but these guys that take week and 2 week out of state trips multiple times a season are like 99% of us? I identify more with a landowner mentality than these guys that get to take their out of state trips.
