Watching this movie in 2024. Akshaye did great job as negative role. Was blockbuster movie. Amisha did great acting here. She was nominated for best actress and this movie boosted made her career.
Humraaz is the only film that the director duo Abbas-Mustan was nominated for Filmfare Best Director Award. In fact Humraaz was nominated for 11 Filmfare Awards(below is the list). With so many sequels being made, believe Humraaz would be an excellent option for a sequel. The way Humraaz ended, there is still alot of story that can be told where the writer can pretend it's 10 years after(since Bobby and Ameesha both still look young and are in great shape). Were Raj/Priya able to get away with killing Karan? Were Raj/Priya able to live a happy life? They could get Darshan and Kajal to help Raj/Priya with the cover-up. For me the second best performance from Akshaye Khanna after Border. I would love to see Humraaz sequal but not without him. Legendary underrated actor Akshaye Khanna. He is one of the few nepokids who is actually talented and I have great love, admiration and respect.

Humraaz is the only film that the director duo Abbas-Mustan was nominated for Filmfare Best Director Award. In fact Humraaz was nominated for 11 Filmfare Awards(below is the list). With so many sequels being made, believe Humraaz would be an excellent option for a sequel. The way Humraaz ended, there is still alot of story that can be told where the writer can pretend it's 10 years after(since Bobby and Ameesha both still look young and are in great shape). Were Raj/Priya able to get away with killing Karan? Were Raj/Priya able to live a happy life? They could get Darshan and Kajal to help Raj/Priya with the cover-up. They can even get Akshaye Khanna to return as his long lost brother who try to investigate Karan's death, etc.
