Really loved the overview. I agree with your take on everything. It’s been a bit since on Carnival, we are now Platinum with Princess. Carnival charging for popcorn, come on! Prices up offering’s less. I will always love Carnival for great fun memories. Thanks folks. Always love your take on food.
Thanks George- appreciate it! 😊 Yeah they've got mountains of debt so it's understandable, but at the core it's still a lot of fun with a lot of tasty food still.
Love your channel. Joanne's outfits on point. Maybe they are cutting back on things so they can cut hours for people overseeing the game area..ping pong, fooze ball, etc. Tea bag price is insane. They seem to be Nickel and Dimeing. Bless you. I looked up about the tea and the site I looked at said they only have Lipton and Bigelow on the ships, they cited also I think it said lido buffets fleetwide.
Thanks Kathy! 😊 Yeah it was probably a cost-saving measure, and probably as a way of getting more people to the bars & arcade lol. And yeah they pretty much have the weakest tea selection, plus the green tea often times ran out.
Thanks for the review! I'm looking forward to sailing on the Venezia (twice) next year. I don't drink coffee so I will definitely bring some tea bags with me. So far I've only sailed on NCL and they have a good assortment of tea bags available for no extra charge, including chamomile.
Our pleasure- thanks for the comment! 😊 Yeah Carnival has the worst tea selection, so def bring some on your trip. Otherwise they had tasty comfort food & fun entertainment options, so you're in for a good time on the Venezia next year!
Great video. Looks like an interesting ship although even the Costa "C" makes it scary to me. It looks interesting to me BUT it is hard to get excited about Carnival when I just booked an ABC cruise on HAL for $60 pp pd on the Eurodam in early December.. I have always thought that Carnival had better food and service than RCCL. I am looking forward to my April cruise on the Magic out of Miami.
Thanks JL! 😊 Yeah I get the feeling that eventually they'll change the funnel- probably depends on guest feedback. Food was pretty good overall for sure. Wow that's a great price for the HAL Eurodam- very good food & service for sure. Congrats!
@@TravelTouristVideos When you get to a point where you don't have to worry about school schedules, the first two weeks of November, December, and January offer some great deals. We had no intention of another cruise this year after Alaska but that was a deal that was hard to pass up. I have seen some great deals on the Carnival "Italian style" ships but haven't seen one that would work.
Yeah we didn't see tea time for the first few sea days, so we thought they didn't have it, but apparently looking at the schedule now, they did have it on the final sea day but we didn't realize it. Oh well next time.
I'm always baffled when people expect Cunard quality/variety at Carnival prices. Why didn't you have varied tea? Maybe because you were on a ship for under $100/day.
We've been on nearly 50 cruises now, and many of them were under $100 a day, including our recent MSC cruise. And sorry, Carnival has by far the worst tea selection.
@@TravelTouristVideos Well there ya go, that's how you grow your channel, by taking feedback and being defensive. You take a bargain cruise line, you shouldn't be shocked to get bargain experiences.
I have booked on Holland America, Celebrity and Princess for under $100 pp pd and they have many selections of tea. It is one of those things that I hear from many Carnival cruisers that encourage them to go elsewhere. The other is the availability of bacon at breakfast.
Great review again.hope you keep doing it for all your cruises.
Thank you! 😊 Will try and do that for sure!

We are going on the Venezia for Christmas
Thanks for the info
Our pleasure- have a great time on the Venezia! 🛳️🎄🥳

Sailed back in May 2024 11 days. Had a great time. Now sailing in December 2024 12 days.
Nice! Have a great time on your upcoming Venezia cruise!
I miss that salad for Seaday brunch. I was one of my favorites.
We as well- hope they bring it back!
Nice review
Thank you! 😊

@@jlawrence0181 Yeah that's what we used to do too when it was okay to miss a week of school or so, but can't do that now
Did you not go to Tea Time? Downside is that its only on sea days.

Not at all! Just pointing out the fact that Carnival is the only major cruise line that does that, despite other lines offering less expensive fares.
I have booked on Holland America, Celebrity and Princess for under $100 pp pd and they have many selections of tea. It is one of those things that I hear from many Carnival cruisers that encourage them to go elsewhere. The other is the availability of bacon at breakfast.
It is not the Venenzia, it is the Venezia.
Do you feel better now?
