I live in a place with one of the biggest wave pools. So small waves I'm used to. But a wave from nature like this is next level. Because a small wave you can train yourself to deal with. This wave no matter what your human body won't be able to deal with the forces
It's very dangerous playing at the ocean specially with those waves it's killing someone,that's why i'm afraid at the ocean 😔 but thank's God he's safe by saving a brilliant person 🙏😍
Just have a healthy respect for the ocean and physics. This person wants to defy the respect. Someone else then is put in jeopardy to rescue them for their poor choices. There is always that 1 adrenaline junkie. At least they knew he was doing this and had a jet ski to help.

It is bigger than a swimming pool and more chaotic, yet there is beauty and excitement in a living swell. Just don't go in when the waves are 3 stories tall. I went to the ocean, 1st time, 10 minutes on the beach before I went into the water. When I went in I was immediately caught in a massive riptide, yet I had a boogie board strapped to my wrist. I was fine. My cousin saw me and swam to me. We both used the board as we swam along the tide trying to find the end so we could swim to shore. After an hour, we started to lose sight of the beach. So he, knowing how to ride the board, rode the waves in. The downside is I went under and was dragged along. We made it to shore quickly. About 10 minutes. We were fine. It was OK. Beach lifeguards had to rescue 25 people that morning. 22 did not make it. They finally closed the beach to swimmers. Rough morning. But we knew what to do. We were prepared. We rescued ourselves. Just be prepared. A little background about me, stuff like that happens all the time to me. Different situations, same results. I accidentally end up in danger all the time. I know how to save myself from a lot. Be respectful of forces that are greater than you. Instead of 20 people then becoming victims, they should have formed a chain. That would have been more steady. I appreciate all of them running, but watch the video. More became distressed and possibilities for their rescues ran high. Be the solution, not a bigger situation. Many drown because they want to help but are not trained to help. I was a firefighter and an EMT. I know some but not everything.
@@thunderflower7998 the surfers! They work in teams. They take turns. One tows the other out to the wave, watches him and then picks him up to take back in - safely, away from the sharp rocks on the beach. You couldn't surf those waves without a tow.
The feeling of being taken down by a wave then coming up for air then turning around and seeing a bigger wave coming right at you is undiscribable but the thought of a bigger wave coming at you is "IM DEAD"

The fact that these surfers know how to stay calm and monuver in the ocean is part of the process. My boyfriend grew up surfing and I remember when I first met him first time I saw him in the water I could see how incredibly comfortable he was it almost look like he belong there and was a fish himself. I have been afraid of the water most of my life but I love beach and I love the ocean regardless, I’m mostly comfortable in clear calm water , where it’s safe lol

I know. I reckon if I was relaxed enough now I could handle it, even as a 49 year old smoker that has hardly surfed in the last 20 years. I wouldn't have thought about it 20 years ago but the jetski thing has changed the game. I'm sort of keen. Oh. And the floatation vests too. It's doable peoples.
Absolutely 69 years old and have good sense now where when I was young I operated in being young now just grateful for every day every breath and being able to walk and have teeth to actually chew food... I get it thank God we live long enough to figure it out.. thankful for everyday
