Thanks for your reaction! This song isn't new it was released a while ago via a mv. He performed this for unity of nations day recently so it's a slightly different version. The pianist in the mv I believe was the composer of it and a close friend that Dimash works with a lot of the time. In the mv he represents one of his very close teachers who passed away due to covid last year in fact he lost two teachers due to covid which greatly upset him. The scenery is indeed in Khazakstan the 9th largest country in the world and extremely beautiful. Before I became a Dimash Dear I had no idea about Central Asia or Khazhstan we learn a lot from him. You may like to watch 'We are One' which represents the Covid pandemic it is a wonderful song with some very high notes. If you'd like a playlist us Dears have many I can send on here for you 😀 here is the link to the mv for this song ua-cam.com/video/K45qdRAIWaM/v-deo.html

Thank you for your reaction! Dimash sings about sacred and painful things for him... It's a song from the very bottom of his heart 💓.

I second the recommendation to watch the official MV of this song - beautifully done! And the fast paced official MV most recently released is "Be With Me" (you already reacted to just the audio) but it's a really fun one.

Subscribed .... This was at his online concert the instrument is a kobyz
. Actually you should see and hear the music video, it is so good and it goes quite deep into emotions. Dimash has also partly directed it. The MV is highly recommended. Greetings from the Netherlands.

It's a ancient Chinese 2 string fiddle called ERHU. Such a haunting sound. In the original mv of QURAN ELIM, it & a piano were also used. The original version had a very strong message. I felt the full impact of this performance bc it was done in his mother country, Khastan.
For me that really told the message behind the performance.

kyl-kobyz is an ancient Turkish 2 string instrument, distributed among Kazakhs, Bashkirs and Tatars under names such as kobyz

Sorry,it's a KOBYZ, Together with the DOMBRA these are ancient instruments much loved in Kazakhstan.for this song: holy land Qairan Elim, they surely didn't use a chinese musical instrument.Sorry if I'm wrong.

@@margaritabosschaerts8851 Dombra is indeed Kazacks, but the Kobyz is originally an old Turkish instrument

It seems you don't have a lot of patience. You seem to be doing a lot of erratic talking that takes away from the performance. How can you properly react to the video if you're not giving attention to the whole song? I think you gave a disservice to this performance. It seems you were looking for a horse and pony show. It seems you don't get the depth of meaning that Dimash inspires. Perhaps he and his artistry is not what you should be reacting to.
