I am a huge DEFTONES fan and I'm usually not impressed by most covers for them especially for "CHANGE". Honestly this is one of the best covers I've heard for this song! Someone in the comments below said "Sweet and Dark" and I absolutely agree. LOVED IT🔥🔥🔥
Definitely agree here, change is one of those tracks that should never be covered because all the covers are terrible and the track itself is so unique it's just impossible to capture that feeling... that is until this cover, I got the same kind of feeling listening to this cover that I got back in 2000 hearing it for the first time, that's probably the biggest complement I could ever give a musician on a cover... this is the first video from Violet I've watched, not a bad introduction, so I guess I'll go stalk the rest of her videos like some dirty creeper (and it's not even because she's smoking hot) lol
Aye~! That would be a great mix for sure... too bad that Silent Hill has probably seen it'l last iteration, and if not, any future Silent Hill game would no doubt end up being a Bethesda-like nightmare, which is a scarier thought than the actual game play could ever portray.

The belt at 3:08 gives me serious Amy Lee vibes. Your voice has just the right combo of clarity and emotion in this one and I love the flair of originality in the arrangement! Marcell's guitar at the end was a nice touch.

Yea the album came out early 2000, but they were playing this live in '99 when I seen them. Mostly around the fur, but a couple new, unreleased at the time, songs also... And, no this is not better. It is a damn good, beautiful, excellent cover, but not better than Deftones.

Deftones are my soul band (meaning they are above all else, every time I hear a Tones song it's like I'm hearing it for the very first time, again & again & every time my heart explodes with amazement) and this is one of my fav tracks by them.
