- Crazy Neighbour and I picked up some Christmas lights and put them up on the treehouse for a quick simple night camping in the newly finished treehouse. I suppose it's not really camping, but it involved sleeping bags and a fire. Was a fine night with a nice sparkling light display.

My 32 year old daughter passed away suddenly on the 26th of August. All the things I have always love about Christmas feel so very far away. There will be no tree, or celebration at my house this year. But after seeing how beautiful the tree house looked I decided to put up a few lights in my livingroom. It's not much but it really did help a little. I appreciate you so much for sharing your life with us.

So sorry for your loss. Christmas is a difficult time for all of us that have lost loved ones. It isn't the same with them gone. We share your pain and we share Steve's pain. Try to have a nice Christmas even though it will be difficult. Remember your daughter is with you in your heart and memory of good times at Christmas past.

Ah! This takes me back to when I was a kid. I used to love camping out in my backyard treehouse.
The first Christmas is hard, you should be proud of yourself you have not given up. You are fighting through it and she would be very pleased and proud of you also. Crazy neighbor is a awesome dude and having someone like that is so precious in your life. You put up lights with Crazy neighbor and yes it is so awesome. One of my few friends who lives in Germany his cat was a real oddity. He would fetch, sit and follow direction better than many people dogs do.

My mum died Christmas Day. I found her that morning and had to let everyone know. Christmas now ,I prefer to to spend alone . I'm an introvert anyway.

Crazy Neighbor seems like just about the best friend anybody could hope for. It's always a treat when he shows up. It would be really cool if you finished in the bottom floor of the tree house so you could have a complete tiny home with a kitchen and bathroom. More videos in/about the tree house are always welcome.

My husband died when I was 33yrs old. I'm now 61 & at times, the pain does return. However, continuing on with Christmas lights, cheer, & friends brings laughs & happiness back 2 a mournful soul.

Strangely enough, that's one of the most cheerful xmas light display's I've ever seen. Something about the cold weather and the rugged outdoors cabin makes it work really well.
