This was my first phone, I still remember I saw this review and forced my father to buy this phone for me. 😭😭 Now looking at the pricing of Sony Smartphone, I don't think I would ever buy any Sony Smartphone.

all of those asking "which is better? galaxy core or xperia m?" i suggest you guys go for xperia m, trust me galaxy core with adreno 203 is a big NO!
This review is closest to my experience, compared to 6 other reviews on the web, which I checked. 3rd day in with the phone, and I am loving it!
OTG does Support, m using this phone and also used OTG that works really fine, you can also check this setting>storage where there is an option of mount USB storage, so OTG Supports with this phone.

I'm a sony Xperia m dual phone owner. I'm using this phone from 2+ years from now. I have NO ISSUES with it and it works AWESOME. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.
The OTG WORKS WELL with Pendrive or wireless keyboard mouse attached to it. Now the battery backup is reduced by 50% (due to ageing only) which is completely a normal thing. So I'm thinking to replace it. Anyhow this will be my 1st ever visit to the sony service centre regarding my phone.
In my view 8.5 out of 10 points for my m dual.
Hi ranjit , I went to buy the sony xperia M but many shopkeepers are telling me that Sony After sales service is not good and they insisted me on buying other brands. Is it true????

I just bought it from a local shop Mercy Electronics(if you are in Chennai you will know it). It is not any brand or anything. Just took my phone, tested it there and it was working fine to my Surprise!! :D :D

I have dual sim version. And it is still working so smoothly. Companies don't create such reliable phones anymore

Oooh, I had this phone, but only for about one year, because pretty soon i dropped while was sitting on a chair. Some time later I accidentally drop it on a tile floor, and maybe a month or so after last fall it just started to lag with calls.
I loved this phone, as it was the first one with really nice camera,also I loved music app. I used it as a mp4 player even after it wasn't usable as call device. I think I still have some nice photos of flowers in Instagram made on this phone. Also, it was very comfy. And I also loved swype, sony emojis etc.
i fought with my father for xperia L but he bought xperia m in 2014 my first mobile phone that i received from my father in final year
@Aditya Bhardwaj U can't compare Windows to Andriod.. Andriod has more apps as to windows lumia is just a 7k phone and xperia m is a 13k phone.. so xperia m has everything better then Lumia 520..

1.If we install call recording app in Sony Xperia M what will be the extension for recordings, (I mean mp3 or mpeg or something else)
2.Where call recordings are stored by default? Whether it’s internal memory or external memory. If its internal memory can we move those recordings to external.

Aditya bhardwaj lumia 520 and sony xperia m both are gr8 phones but if u consider the apps and stuff you get more options in xperia m as it comes with android OS while lumia series comes with windows OS which lacks the look and feel and even the customizability of android...and it has a very limited approach to apps
I was crazy for this phone 3 years back...i just couldn't decide which should i get galaxy core or xperia m...i ended up getting Karbonn A6 it stopped working after 4 months...then i invested in new iPhone 5s and i still use it and its just perfect!!! 😏

Bt today I went to my nearest Sony mobile shop. Nd Der I tested da camera of Xperia M.
I took da fone nd take it away to da dark side of showroom nd clicked a picture of my fingers. Da camera works good, I zoomed da image nd it didn't blurred I didn't fine any issues, I respect u Sir bt da camera on dis fone is not Very Poor.

Hey Ranjit... could you do a hands on comparison between xperia m and galaxy Core as both have similar specs and price.Various forums are flooded with questions asking which one is better as buyers are zeroing in on these two phones for similar price range.
There is just one video on youtube comparing the two and that too very biased.

i bought this phone just after a day i saw this video. sony is excellent. more than satisfied. even the brightness is more than enough if u put it on full brightness. before i bought i checked both these phones in the store. i felt samsung is not to my liking. it looked cheap in quality. sony's interface quality, display, camera quality(more true color), sound, performance is far better than samsung.

Sony Xperia M's camera is not so bad for a 5 mega pixel. We just need to customize the settings according to the lighting conditions. I replaced my Sony Xperia Sola with this one. Comparing it to M, Sola's display was better. That's bcoz it has a higher PPI and Sony Bravia engine. But it sucks on battery backup and had stability issues. M's has a very decent battery backup and the performance is so refined. Sony should have added 8GB internal storage and added another Rs 1000 more to it's price.
