Preach on God because relationship with GOD IS VERY IMPORTANT. SPEAK to God like you speak to your best friend, like your partner, like the only person that knows you better than you know yourself.
My thoughts on quiet luxury is that it’s 100% a way to gatekeep luxury and decide who has the “right” to be considered a good luxury client.
It’s culturally offensive and doesn’t acknowledge the wide range of diversity in style/fashion. It’s very corny to intentionally start to only uplift people who don’t wear logos, colors, prints and monograms. Yet, put down those who do. Let people wear what they want to wear. All of these UA-camrs trying to bait everyone into thinking luxury is “dead” or not poppin anymore are a bunch of followers too😂 Cause Ima be a Chanel girl forever !💁🏽♀️💗
That's the way social media influencers is spinning it. They have no idea what they are talking about. lol Quiet luxury is just those of us who have always been quality and classy style-based when it comes to clothes and bags and not always going for logos first. (fashion under the radar, so to speak) I have Louis Vuitton products, but usually the Damier Ebene because that's my quieter style, has been for 50 years. My Chanel bag is 'quieter', I turn my Hermes Birkins inward so no one sees the "Hermes Paris" imprint. smh (That's something psychological with me, I'm sure. lol) - Now, quiet luxury is trendy and influencers do not even know what it is; making it seem as if it's old money elitism. It's just a classic way of dressing. -- There are old money folks who dress "loud". They wear what they like. Like everything.....social media makes much ado about nothing. It's always been here, now it's a debate and insulting to others.

I wish someone would tell me to be quiet with what I buy. Loud or quiet I’m wearing what I own. These trends come and go. Wear what makes you happy.

I absolutely love to tell another sista, whether I know her or not, where I got something and how she can get it too. I want her to experience the same luxuries as I do if she can. Gatekeeping just seems kinda selfish to me.

My sister and I live in two different states and buy the same shoes without one another knowing all the time. 😂 but we will copy one another in everything if we like it or if will add to your quality of life. I definitely don't think billionaires wear regular tee. Regular to them (Tom ford) we just don't know what it is. Hence quite luxury. Agreed it can be both. Let's be honest some culture are louder than others. Some people like to see and be seen/ heard. Personality plays a huge role too. Me personally like nice things but I don't need to scream it from the roof top. I'm also not in anything gaudy. Granted my level of luxury is contemporary "highend". I'm at the luxury level yet😂. With the exception of beauty/ frangrance, sunglasses and a small or two. Im walking before I crawl. One day 🙌🏾 everyone gatekeeps. However, if you ask I'll let you😂
