I'd use a Kryat Dragon Pearl with a Durinfire secondary.
_takes off nerd hat._
Same
I would use the durinfire with the one crystal from dantoonie that produces the pink lightsaber blade. Both work on absorbing energy, but the pink saber blade crystal can infused the energy absorbed into the user. restoring stamina. So that combined with the energy absorbing properties of the durinfire crystal and the amount of energy based weaponry in star wars. That would be a pretty op combination. Basically the weapon of a rpg tank within star wars.
What type of Crystal's do you want
Me: yes
so you want all of them eh?

Silver lightsabers have always been my favorite and I'd definitely wield a silver one myself.
I perfer sunrider's destiny
I would have red
I like the sentinel or yellow lightsaber personally.
Barab ingot, for my crystal. The original unstable lightsaber crystal, and it makes your blade transparent. :B
I'd probably combine a silver lightsaber with a ghost fire crystal as my main crystal, and make a sword-lightsaber hybrid made out of mandalorian steel/iron to be able to defend myself even if the laser is damaged or the metal blade breaks.
This is my dream lightsaber. Silver is my favourite colour so I would definetly want to use this crystal
I could have guessed that from your name alone lol.
SilverStormShadow same here, I would also duel wield a black on as well.
Amen Ra44 that's racist!
Kid Bu How so?
Amen Ra44 idk
Unlike most of the crystals covered so far, I had no idea this one existed. Cool.
OtakuMage there’s also a black one too it’s my favorite
Theres more
You should read the old novel "I, Jedi". It is very good, and the main character is the source for most of the lore on the Horn family.
Order 66 in Clannad when?
Ah, I remember the first time I saw a silver bladed lightsaber... Back in KOTOR 2, when I chose that my jedi had a lightsaber with a unique crystal color, silver... Later in the game I managed to find a silver crystal as well, it looked amazing in contrast with the red lightsaber my character used in the off-hand.
Silver would definitely be my choice of lightsaber. I've just always loved the color silver.
You can’t chose your light saber in cannon
Personally I like orange and I got orange
I personally love the dark saber the most, so if I could somehow add this crystal to that blade as a supplementary Crystal I think it'd be nice. A flat blade, and either grey or white, depending on how it effects the color
Timmons technically you could as there was a broadsaber lightsabers
I’d just like to remind the author that the original family name was Halcyon. It was later changed to Horn after the Empire came to power by Rostek Horn, who married Nejaa Halcyon’s widow and adopting his son. Then he proceeded to wipe all references to the Halcyons from CoreSec
Corran Horn in I Jedi
@@Silvertinge291 and in the awesome first half of the xwing series
I, Jedi was my favorite book from the now Legends Expanded Universe.
Has an entire chapter dedicated to how he constucts his silver bladed lightsaber.... a must read for any fan imo
Which the author of the video could have learned if he had just read one book.
Ah Master Qui-Gon told me about this,an amazing legend and a tragedy
General Kenobi hahahaha. You are a bold one
Did he take the high ground
Nathaniel yes he did
Yes, but a bold and intelligent family, nevertheless.
If you want a tragedy, have you heard of the tragedy of darth plaguis the wise?
The Jedi Exile’s unique force bond with her crystal is unique and deserves a video explaining it.
Lucas agreed
That's not a Kaiber Crystal, or at least not a Color Crystal. It's Force sensitive, catching the run off Force and amplifying the abilities of the one bonded to it, but doesn't determine the Saber's color
Austin Jurgle It’s still unique. Sure it doesn’t change the Saber’s colour but the crystal itself changes colour depending if the Exile is on the light or dark side of the force. The Exile’s original saber colour is also Cyan and she’s the only wielder of that colour in Legends so I mean why not make a video on that as well?
@@Dragonmont I don't think it changes colour, does it? I haven't seen it change my lightsaber colour in any of my playthroughs. It only amplifies your stats, strength or dexterity maybe both? But always charisma and wisdom, depends on your level as well how many stats you get.
" a family that did not follow the jedi code, including celibacy."
George Lucas - jedi are not celibate
For real dude. Otherwise we'd have like no fan art
I always use the Silver in KOTOR 2 and the Cyan do one on the Cyan color crystal next, it also is in KOTOR 2
A yellow lightsaber comes when a Jedi is a pour Jedi
imagine being a geologist, but only in Star Wars lore lmao
The Halycon (Horn) family were not weak in the force, the males in the family could not use telekinesis. However they had unparalleled ability in mind tricks, and energy absorption (seperate from the powers the gem had). The reason Nejaa Halcyon (corrans grandfather) didn't attack the empire is because he died at the beginning of the clone wars to a dark Jedi leading the jensurai, his father was not fully trained and left corran with his good friend in cor sec (Hal Horn) after order 66 and went into hiding (where he presumably died) the Horns were quite strong in the force, however their strengths were a little different than most Jedi.
What about Tera Sinube the old Jedi master in the Clone Wars? He had a silver lightsaber
It’s canonically light blue not white
I'm looking forward to The Mandalorian and IX.
I have a Saberforge Imperial Knight saber and it has the silver blade. I also have an Imperial Knight build I’ve been working on. And you showed off the Imperial Knights!!! Best, Saber Crystal video EVER!
i am so happy you made this video i mentioned the horn family in the past since corran is one of my favorite jedi in the new jedi order who uses his grandfathers blade, i always have loved duran fire lightsabers
I had 2 silver crystals on kotor 2 which were pretty cool and I kept then over the other colors including viridian
Cool :) Really
We need a new KOTOR AND a KOTOR 2 for Android/IOS
I duel wielded as well, however I had a silver and a viridian
@@frannyfranfrancis KOTOR is already on Android and IOS. I really want KOTOR 2 though.
you guys would seriously insult a game that great by playing it on a freaking phone? i seriously can't think of a worse insult and waste of money and time to the gaming industry then mobile games.
I bought me a saber last Christmas it was a silver one I love it(Ghost) so much, it fit so well in my hands. Can believe im just now seeing this. Ahsoka inspired me to get it. 💛
I'm not 100% up to date on the extended star wars universe but I try to watch all your videos and I've been subscribed to your channel for a few years now. My wife also enjoys them. Other star wars channels kinda make things seem dumbed down and skip around. You actually focus on one thing per video. Thank you sir.
This is very nice. Thanks :) Very smart family. Kind and noble. Nice video
Right from the start, I was thinking Corran Horn when I heard you start talking. Also, I love that you mentioned the Imperial Knights. #EUisbetter. My three favourite Force orders are the Imperial Knights, the Knights of Zakuul, and the Je'daii.
Edit: Whoa! Over 100 likes? Thanks, everyone. I don't suppose you'd consider subbing, too?
Worth a shot ;)
Alema Rar also used silver blade... in fact more of them. I wonder if she used synth crystals.
Also it was always my choice in Knights of the Old Republic II.
I believe Tera Sinube from the Clone Wars also wields a silver lightsaber, but I could be wrong
Corran Horn was a Jedi that trained under Luke Skywalker! He appears in legends @ 6.5 years after A New Hope! In the X-Wing book series! Corran Horn even had his own book, "I, Jedi"! I believe that he died during the battles with the Yuuzhan Vong! It's been awhile since I have read the books, or I haven't read that particular book yet! Even Corran's Grandfather, Rostek Horn helped hide Corellian Jedi families, & instilled the Jedi code & to follow his instincts (Jedi instincts)! Corran's father, Hal Horn, was an apprentice to Nejaa Halcyon, Corellian Jedi Master, who died during the Clone Wars! Corran's lightsaber was a silver-white blade, which was 'borrowed' from a Jedi museum on Coruscant, after he escaped from the Imperial Prison Lusankya, a buried Super Star Destroyer, hidden on Coruscant!! The museum had been deliberately destroyed, by something that left an evil presence, that destroyed the faces of the honored Jedi on display! What do you all think? Comment if you 'Like'! lol!
@@larrykelbaughjr.1831 Neeja Halcyon was actually Corran's blood grandfather. After Neeja was killed Rostik Horn marries Hal's mother and changes their name. Hal knew of his heritage but was never fully trained. Instead he always taught Corran to listen to his gut feelings. This is explained in the book "I Jedi" So the Horn family referred to in the video is more accurately the Halcyon family. The rest of the video's description of the family was mostly right. They just got the surname wrong.
The family also sucked at generating their own telekinesis. However they excelled in absorbing all kinds of energy (blaster bolts, lightsaber blades, thermal detonators and force powers used against them) which they could then use to generate telekinesis or massively powerful mind tricks.
Can you do unique lightsaber variants?
Sure!
This is a theory that I have for black lightsaber crystals. I think the reason why the blade usually is black is not just because of the blade sucked the light out around it, but it also represents the users personality. Those that have this are either more concerned with their own matters outside the scope of the order and force, or chooses to align themselves to a lesser/greater cause. It would make sense in the case of tarre Vizsla. I'd like to see your thoughts on this.
Well, in Legends, there is only one known crystal capable of producing a black blade, that being the Blackwing crystal. Many have theorized that, in Legends continuity, the Darksaber contains a Blackwing crystal.
I came here to understand what this crystal/saber colour is. Because I took a few tests for fun, and I mostly got this colour but didn’t fully understand it.
Thanks for explaining it.
Great video. 👍
The thumbnail has the coolest looking lightsaber I've ever seen...
The silver light saber sound awesome I have never heard or seen this color before, I remember playing as Star killer collecting all the different color blades, couldn’t wait to get my hands on the black blade, black and red are my favorite colors
Absolutely the most beautiful color by far. I had my Revan use it in KOTOR and exile in KOTOR2.
Black light sabre is my favourite caus it’s only of its kind and weird by famous sith and Jedi and very very powerful and looks awesome
Finally some information on a silver lightsaber... Thank you for this
Love these videos on on Lightsaber colours.
Wooooooo you are awesome thanks for going over this crystal
Thank God for this channel there is stuff you discuss I've never even heard of specially silver lightsaber no that would be a cool saber
I knew of the Silver Color Lightsaber way before this video because of Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic 2 because it was one of the Lightsaber Colors that you could choose when you were asked to describe what your Lightsaber looked like and everything! Maybe you should look more into the Jedi Exile's Story!
The dark saber

I would pair this up with the Solaris crystal and take on palpatine
I think you mean Solari crystal
The Rey crystal - The crystal that makes Rey overpowered for no good apparent reason
Its rainbow colored
KillerToxic28 *cough* Anakin accidentally destroying an entire station *cough*
@@joshuaburt593 That argument never works. It was by accident and plus he was an established Chosen One.
Kristers Feldmanis established? You mean they said it like two or three times. Rey us not overpowered, lets see: she can fly, makes sense worked on junkyard ships her whole life, can fix shit, see previous point. Skill with a lightsaber, she literally has a staff that she beats the shit out of people. Now lets look at the force, I can get this argument she moves pretty quick... however, what she does is resist Kylo Ren, which I can believe, that's about willpower, she uses a Jedi Mind trick, bear in mind it fails twice and as she does it she looks confused. Pulls the lightsaber towards her, well Luke did the exact same thing with the tiniest bit of training, like a little more than Rey. It seems the only exposition you get us spoken, JJ Abrams and later Rian Johnson assumed that you could put the obvious pieces together. And just to point out, Rey could be one of the most powerful Jedi ever, and whats wring with that, I think that people are upset that this new trilogy isn't about the old characters, which is good because we are seeing new territory, Rey's not overpowered, she's learned like a little faster than Luke.
Joshua Burt Just because I take things about and sell them, doesn't mean I become able to fix said parts. I can find parts of a computer and sell them but never know how it actually works. So Rey being able to fly and fix a ship is one hell of a leap. Being able to sorta fight with a staff doesn't mean you can fight with a sword. If I have Rey some nunchucks will she be able to use them? No she won't because they're two different weapons that require different stances, distancing, and different approaches. Being able to do a Jedi mind truck is completely out of the fucking question. Not only does she NOT have training with anything that has to do with the force, and had just recently discovered her force powers. But she doesn't even know what I Jedi mind trick is. She hasn't seen any other Jedi do it and she was on an isolated planet living by herself. She's not learning really quick. She's not learning at all. She's just doing. In order to learn you have to have a teacher. She's just doing things with no explanation at all. And luke didn't have a little bit more training than her. He had training and she didn't. And training from one of the greatest Jedi masters ever. And that wasn't the only training he did. Sure the movie has a time slip and you don't see it but it's evident. And resisting the force with will power doesn't make since. The only way it can make sense is if you use that will power to channel and use the force. But she can't USE the force that way if she doesn't even KNOW what it is or how to bring it out. That's like me telling you not to drown by using will power. Well that will power has to be applied to something. That something bring holding your breath. The new trilogy SHOULD have been about Ashoka if they wanted it to be about a girl 🙄. At least she has a likeable personality.
I ordered mine 6 weeks ago, should be here before too long. Super stoked!
Interesting how Legends Canon Stories keep these amazing star wars channels alive
I would dual wield a silver lightsaber and one with a Pontite Crystal, that blade combo would be amazing! (Ok,I made this comment originally before watching the entire video. Now that I found out it is mainly a supplemental Crystal, I would have the main Crystal as a Pontite with the Silver Crystal supplementing both blades. Having a lightsaber that is ice cold and can absorb Force lightning would be freaking awesome!)
It would well and truly be a powerful weapon against the Dark Side, with a combo like that. I imagine it would be a lightsaber that would invoke fear in any Sith that came across the Jedi who wielded it. It could probably easily stand against a Sith who used a Qixoni and/or Katak crystal in their lightsaber.
Yes, krayt dragon pearl with during fire crystal supplementing it.
I love these crystal videos so cool
Yes I would. It's a calming color.
If I lived in a long time ago In a Galaxy far far away. When the sith when sith were a bit more common, hands down priority when crafting a lightsaber.
I would, actually. I’d use a Durenfyre crystal to represent my gray stance, in that I’d wield the Force as a whole and not strictly use it for Light or Dark purposes, and obviously it’s a plus that it absorbs energy so well. I’d also use a krayt dragon pearl, or perhaps a Ghost Fire crystal.
I wonder what would happen if u used this crystal as a secondary with a primary being the krayt dragon pearl or the dark saber(can't remember if that's what it's referred to as, but the one with the inverted black and white color scheme). Plus didn't know u could have a secondary crystal in your lightsaber other than dual bladed??? Is that still cannon?
I love these lightsaber videos
The Horn family is powerful in the field of illusions
I’ve recently gotten into Star Wars Legends over half a year ago. I started with the Cade Skywalker comic books online before I start buying the novels. I found this video and I find it even cooler now that I know why Fel’s Imperial Knights use these lightsabers.
Edit: I know, it’s not the best way to start Legends. I just chose where to start in the timeline at random. For those wondering, I’m 19 years old.
I would use this lightsaber, but I love the color green, if there's a dark green crystal, could you do a video on that?
Varidian lightsaber
@@pillamilla that's a really good one
Absolutely fantastic. Yes I would.
Yes, yes I would use this crystal. Along with the Krayt Dragon pearl.

Though I would also wield a Red Blade as well
think of it as me Being the balance of the force Both Light and Dark
Duran🔥fire Grey Jedi sound off😋. Great vid. This is the crystal I use on my shadow in swtor !!! 🍻Cheers mate.
The silver lightsaber should stand for being pure of heart.
in KotOR2, I always went with silver blades. I liked the way they looked and felt pretty BA as I ran though my enemies with my two silver lightsabers
Thanks Stupendous Wave for the videos and explanations! I would definitely use a silver lightsaber but prefer mace's purple!
@Question. You said silver lightsabers absorb power more, are there Crystal's that cannot handle powers force lightning? And has a lightsaber blade ever been broken ?
Purple lightsaber is my favorite
This is AWESOME!!!
Never heard of it till now and YES I should use it.
I love the lore of the Star Wars Legacy Era!!!! The One Sith Order, Imperial Knights and of course The New Jedi Order. I REALLY hope Disney makes a series based around The Legacy Era on Disney+!!!!!
I first knew about the silver lightsaber crystal from 'KOTOR II: The Sith Lords'. I would've loved to actually have wielded a lightsaber with silver color in that game but thanks to its random loot system never got to, until I got it on PC and console commanded it into existence. I still hold the silver crystal in my mind and it was for that reason I got an Ultrasaber that flashes sliver on clash.
Damn, I was going to make a technology using the Silver color.
I want that LightSaber.
Corren horn is my favourite Jedi with roots to the halycon blood line silver blade that he could elongate with a twist of his saber not to mention he could absorption energy from any source and direct it to his force powers
I love the Imperial Knights and the Fel Empire. They're literally the only Star Wars faction I'd love to live under, and I haven't even read the Legacy comics yet (I'm thinking about ordering Legacy Volume One but I'm not sure yet; I'd appreciate input from those who have read it!). All of my knowledge about the Fel Empire comes simply from reading Wookieepedia and I absolutely love them. I'm hoping that the First Order ends up like them after Episode 9. As a real-world monarchist, I love that Star Wars has an empire that's not portrayed as evil.
I've only recently begun my true dive into Legends, since before recently, I had only read up on Wookieepedia about much of the story. However, I finished reading Darth Plagueis a little over a month ago and I'm half-way through Heir to the Empire now. Heir to the Empire is a masterpiece and I can hardly put it down when I have time to read. I know most of the other Legends material isn't as solid so I'm not expecting much. Any recommendations on where I should go once I finish the Thrawn Trilogy? I'm more interested in the post-RotJ stuff right now, as I know most of the Old Republic stuff is solid from what I've heard.
Cool I'd use this crystal !
I have three and I love them, One from my character in KOTOR II and one for my jedi master sage in SOTOR And a double bladed one for my padawan Nadia. They cost a pretty penny but I love them. In my head cannon role play they are passed down from generation to generation, and help the weilder center themselves in meditation and hide their force pressence and emotions from other force users while on the flip side strengthen the force bond between two jedi that have the same crystals allowing them to comunicate feelings and even potentially simple thoughts, If the lightsaber is brought near a holocron of a prior user of it the holocron will even become more life like and offer more insight as the origional living Jedi would have.
Silver/white is my favourite lightsaber colour. Would definitely be my choice :)
Silver is one of my favourite saber colours (behind red, orange and yellow), because it was the colour that Maulkiller used, and he is one of my favourite non - Old Republic legends characters
This and the healing one would be so useful.
The silver not only looks cool as hell, but it can absorb energy!!! Automatic New favorite!!! Still like the purple though. Can you break down the special strength if any of the purple lightsaber?
Seeing how it's a secondary crystal, I wonder if it could be paired with the dragon pearl to power a lightsaber?
Every episode stupendous wave should say another lightsaber for my collection
What is with youtubeRRRS who put a weird inflECTIOOOON at the end of every sentENNNNNCE?
There is a few of them and it really throws me off and I can't stop thinking about it while watching a video
Number 15....
Have you been watching Chills?? Drives me nuts. Like every sentence is a blasted question..
Same reason UA-camrs use random capitalisation.
I didn't notice it until you said it and now I can't un-notice it.
May you make a video over the Viridian crystal ?
if you combined this crystal with the ice one. it would be the perfect weapon against a Sith.
Since you're making lightsaber crystal videos could you make one on black crystals or explain what made black lightsabers? Like the ones used for The Force Awakens in Legends, or the Dark saber famously used by Maul and Satine in Canon.
2:48 what's that clip from? I've wondered that for so long but still don't know.
Fun fact, the celibacy thing actually has several (albeit very specific) exceptions, for instance fertility rates (Kiaddi Mundi), force sensitivity rates (Plo Koon), "Personally saved the Republic" status circa Revan, and there was even an obscure one mentioned in SWTOR's Jedi Knight storyline (specifically the romancing Kira Carsen bit).
I love the Silver blade, and the Imperial Knights are just as cool looking. However, i wanna know about the elusive black crystal we see in The Force Unleashed, cause personally i would want that one or a gold colored one.
If could I would probably use it as a second crystal as mentioned and for main crystal a kryat dragon pearl, that would be a powerful lightsaber. And know thinking I little I do think this lightsaber could be construct primarily after the fall of the empire because both of those can be found at the same place, but at the same time it would be a challenge to that down a kryat dragon and those crystals could become rare after the mass extraction made by the empire and maybe would cost a lot of money
It would be cool to get more vids about the legacy of the force book series
Do a video about heart of the Guardian and mantle of the force? I know there isn't much on them, but they were exceptionally rare and powerful.
Another person who used a white saber was that old guy in “lightsaber lost” he doesn’t have the white saber in that episode but you see him again when Anakin is fighting Baris. He is the one training the younglings in the backround and you can see him holding a white lightsaber
I love Starkiller’s dual lightsabers they look awesome
I agree
Tim Bartsch 😁😎
Adam Jensen me too
I've taken many tests to find out my color and I've gotten silver everytime so finding out about my colors lore is amazing!
I had a silver lightsaber crystal in Knights of the Republic 2 but it was hard to find
I never heard of this but I’d rather have the Ghost Fire crystal.
what would happen if you had a silver crystal as your main crystal AND secondary crystal?
based off the understanding the video gave me of this crystal it can be used as the secondary crystal in a saber but still impart it's unique qualities onto the saber which make me wonder, could you pair durin fire crystal with a krayt dragon pearl in one saber? if you could, that is the saber i would want
I will say this though:
Because of the these videos, I learn about things I never heard of
"Trait dragon pearl" it's Krayt Dragon Pearl not trait.
I think I'd personally be a lightsaber collector, in all honesty. Whether or not I'd have the force is irrelevant, but I would amass a collection of as many unique sabers as I could get my hands on, preferably crafted with my own two hands.
I think my favorite saber design that I've never seen used is the split blade saber, where instead of having one beam per emitter, you have two parallel beams. This essentially let's you tune down one of the beams so that one side can be used for cutting only and the other for parrying and deflecting, minimizing potential damage to both the user and accidental victims.
After that I'd probably wield some form of modular lightsaber, where you can just stack them atop eachother like kids do with markers.
nerd
But the Krayt Dragon Pearl too was a supplementary crystal and not the main focusing crystal.
I used the silver lightsaber in KOTOR, tried to play as a grey Jedi, but closer to the end of the story there is a Karma check and to progress you have to align with either light or dark. Had to restart my game because I had done most of the side missions that give you light/dark side points.
Yep. I intend to have my saber be silver. Making that purchase next month.
Can you do a video on teal colored lightsabers if you can?
A fan creation of mine was a man named Rann Vizzeek, who became a master at a young age and was always known to have a strong attraction to the dark side while still remaining within the light, and he existed in older times, such as the times of Malgus and Vitiate. He slew several sith, but his main task within the order was to track down and deal with fallen jedi, particularly those with republic secrets. He wielded a silver blade, and would quickly gain a reputation as the Silver Fang, a master of Ataru and Shien who blended the two forms which together allowed him to easily dispatch a sith lord. I enjoyed the lore video of their origins though, thank you.
Ahsoka has some in Star Wars Rebels
