Such a magnificent track. A pity the live version doesn't have the vocal layering that the splendid album version has, but Anneke makes it up with the way she delivers and with supporting herself pretty darn well.
Tuomas Holopainen from Nightwish should have made a call to Anneke back in 2007 when she left The Gathering... Reality always comes short of your dreams, doesn't it.
i thought exactly the same thing. nightwish together with tarja and the gathering together with anneke were my favourite bands. taking anneke after tarja left nightwish was the best thing that could happen. but tuomas chose the most stupid. in my opinion.
Why are you doing this to me? After getting used to Anneke's voice any other voice seems to be devoid of expression and clarity. Liking this live version even better than the studio versioin btw.
I don't understand that we speak about Nightwish here ? Compare Anneke Van Giesbergen (and TG) with Anette Olzon :o/ They have not the same style of voice and nevertheless I find Anette is good singer. Because you have no more Tarja? This debate is going to set still how long? Anneke is good in the metal quite as in the pop rock. We can't say the same for the other singers.
