As an Evertonian...Stockport County and their fans were absolutely incredible in that match...we were actually FA cup holders going into that game....1996...Stockport were so unlucky!...

Was at this game on the pop side the 90s were epic 🎉🎉🎉also was at the cuo game in 1976 we lost 1.0 massive crowd 15k the pop side was a ocean of heads kids jumping the back fence.. Everton were also in the dug out on the main stand where it kicked off throughout the game. Unbelievable now the cheadle end was tiny with all the old fellas smoking pipes n cigars. I went to most big city games in the 70's looking back the tension with agro it was a proper war zone during and after run like fuk we did...being a county fan in the Kippax 🎉
Was with the Everton mob that night we had a right crew as usual,but fair play to county they gave as good as they got during and after the game,the likes of Millwall wouldn't have stood against them ..respect from the Gwladys Street end scallies
Top man. Still speak about this night regular amongst those ITK. Everton had lads everywhere and not sure anyone brought a bigger firm since TBH. Respect 👍
