I have been looking for a video on this and it is finally here…. Hoping it will help me solve my comm errors between easy touch and heat pump. Thanks for the video
Spectacular video!! I do have a couple of questions for you. 1. What is the point of the solar sensor and why do you need to fake it out; what happens if you just leave those terminals empty (like my old system did)? 2. Why do all the circuit boards have red/black terminals if they are not used? I connected mine just because they were there. Does it make any difference whatsoever? Thanks in advance!
Great videos Craig. So no need to connect the ultratemp to an easy touch relay really, just connect the ultra temp to its own breaker directly and connect it to the easy touch via com cable only. Correct? Many thx!
Good video. I don't have the computer and app feature for my Pentair Ultratemp heat pump due to the extra cost it would have been to get that. Please can you do a video on how to work the heatpump just from the Pentair easytouch automation panel system that's on the house? thank you!
When the Heater is connected via a comm cable to the EasyTouch for remote control, do you wire the heater power directly via a GFCI so it always has power or do you connect it to the relay in the easy touch so it is turned off and on only by the relay in the easy touch?
Great job on this video for information that no one else seems to have!

Were you able to resolve your 485 comm errors?
@@jeremyjedynakyes it gave me the knowledge to trace back to easy touch and identify that mice had gotten into the wire and replace the chewed up wire
Great video! Helped me connect my new UltraTemp 120Q to my new Easy Touch panel.
Glad it was helpful!

I'm sorry I just got the Pentair Ultraheat, so without that panel I cannot use it the poo heater?
What does it mean when the Heat pump button on app fades in and out green to gray back and fourth ?
Good job
Thanks
I think you mean RS485 btw
