Game Changer. This foam clay is much better than any air dry clay for cosplay. I was using Crayola's model magic air dry clay since it's easy to find in stores, but it's hard to work with. After it dries, it is very stiff and prone to breaking apart. :( Funny story: I ordered Foam Mo from Amazon and when it arrived, I opened up the box and read the container label closely where it said "Cosplay Apprentice". Then I thought to myself "Wait. Is this the same person as the UA-camr I am watching?" LOL. I did not know until now. Then I saw your logo in the videos and on the Foam Mo container. Anyway, once I complete my big build I'll send pictures via Instagram. :)
Yay! What!?! No way! Hahaha :) That is so awesome and funny! 😂. Well, I am glad you found both my product and my channel! :) Thank you so much for sharing your story! 😀
@@CosplayApprentice Yeah both are awesome! I kind of stumble upon the channel and the clay by accident though, but I'm glad I did because these tutorials are very helpful and informative. :D
Poly-props (based in the UK) stock foam clay and it's awesome! I've used it instead of quick seal to blend seams and used it in a mold to create greeblies for a first order stormtrooper helmet. Check the poly-props website you'll be glad you did!
@@CosplayApprentice Ah understandable. Thanks for the super quick reply. We’ll stock up on the big tub as soon as it’s available. We make all our Halloween and Xmas decs with foam-mo. Really depend on it
To increase its ability to stick to plastic without glue, I would rough up the plastic where you want to stick it to by scoring it in a criss-cross pattern with a razor blade.
Sure thing!! :) I try to be as responsive as possible to questions and chats on the channel! :). Thanks for watching! Let me know if you have any more questions! :)
Game changer. Once I get the hang of it.
*Game changer*

Can you get it to stick to plastic without needing to rough the plastic?
Hey w come it’s no longer available on Amazon? Do you sell direct?
It will be available again soon, we have just had some troubles with keeping it in stock after all the supply chain stuff in the last year.:/

Can you use this to make casts of a face?
Like if you have a mold of a face and you want to press this into it? Or using it to create the mold?
@@CosplayApprentice to create the mold, thank you.
Depending on what you use to cast in it you might be able to make it work but I would think that it might not be the best martial for making mold.
Can you use foam mo on plastic surface without glue?

@@CosplayApprentice cool! Thinking of getting some. And you sir got a sub.
Yay!!! Thank you! Let me know how it goes! Thanks for subbing! :)
Could anyone please tell me how strong it is compare to eva that comes in sheets ?
It is not as structural of a material as foam sheets.
@@CosplayApprentice wow, you'd reply really fast, Thanks for the answer and your time. luv
