That hidden bunk room with desk is a game changer! I never thought I would even consider a travel trailer until I saw this model. We're probably still gonna go with a dual suite fifth wheel, but this has turned my head and provided provocative options! 😊
What a great way of adding a bunk house without adding length or taking away from the living space or bathroom space. I absolutely love it. The bunk house also makes a great office space.
What would make the hidden space even more amazing is an option to replace the large window on the bunkhouse slide with a door for access for loading / unloading gear. I could see using that space to store bikes, coolers, fishing rods, etc.
Absolute surprise size of hidden room! It would work equally as well as a studio for creative types.. lots of storage room, the ability to sell your work on the road, dream scenario. Love it !
I’ve been watching RV videos for about 5 years now but lately I never make it to the end because you see so much of the same. But this one kept my interest throughout! Every room had something cool and unique! This one will definitely be on my watch list!
A cool concept with that bunk area. One question I'm wondering is are any of the windows in that slide an emergency exit? I wouldn't put my kids in that space if there's no way to get out if a fire happens in the main living space.
Best part of the RV is finally seeing you in the reflections, me and the wife always look to see if we can catch your face in the reflections, and this video was the best yet!! Lol great video btw.
Amazing!!!! This is probably the very best travel trailer ever made. You can tell by the fact that the narrator/tour guide tells you how EVERYTHING is great, and absolutely zero references to anything not great. Not even possible for his incentive to get a commission to influence his presentation. Couldn't even compare this to your girlfriend trying on a different t-shirt and asking you if it looks better than her other t-shirt. I'm sure the build quality isn't poo like EVERY other travel trailer ever made either.
Hi! This is a very cool model. We have a Salem Cruise Lite, and we love it! Forest River really has the floor plan thing down! I like that this model has more storage than the Cruise Lite. I really like the amenities such as the pantry and drop counters! I like the king size prop bed. The small outside griddle/kitchenette is off the charts groovy. I love the hideaway bunkhouse! Genius! Not only is it a kid/guest nook it could also be used as a crafting room, man cave, she shack, library or even more storage space depending on one’s s needs. I am surprised this model doesn’t come with electric jacks or frameless windows. A covered slide? I have to say the biggest flaw in the plan is the shower! I have the same shower plastic walls with the holes every so many inches, the shower fixtures are and do look cheap, easy enough to fix, I just feel like for what I’m sure is an $80,000+ camper Salem could have sunk an extra $20 into better looking shower fixtures keeping in theme with the upgraded, modern, and sleek look of this beautiful camper. Last, I would really like to see Forrest River design, make and offer a very slender long ottoman for the couch! Pushed in it would make a giant bed or family movie night pit couch. Pulled out it would make a coffee table/ottoman. One could even up the game and make it into a storage ottoman, perfect for things like seasonal gear, extra linen, blankets etc. As a full time RV’r I always need more storage! Another plus to the ottoman idea is that not only could it be extra storage but it could have a lift top, turns it into a table/desk, make the top flippable, cushion matching couch on one side and hard surface on the other! Hey! Forrest River, need a design girl?
A little big for just me but I understand there is a smaller model to this that would work great for me. The slide room is perfect for my rc cars, planes and drones. Look forward to seeing your review of that unit.
Amazing design. We’ve been looking at bunkhouse designs and this really is the most ingenious design I’ve seen. I am certain my 7 year old twins would be in heaven with this setup. Thanks for sharing!
I would love the bunk room to be my dressing closet .. I'd love it! I didn't like how thin the under storage latch door is. I would definitely look into replacing that!
I absolutely LOVED THIS! I WAS SHOCKED! I showed it to my 32 year old daughter with 2 kids under 6 and she thought it would be a GREAT "Mommy needs a break" room😂*Edit* I have one question: How difficult is it to open the secret door from inside the bunks? In otherworldly, can the kids get accidentally locked in? That would not be good.
I agree on your idea for bikes etc. Before I read your comment my suggestion was option without the slide....boost fresh water to 75, 90, 100 gallons and black to 40, 45.......maybe offer this in a 30 foot instead of 34'
Hidden Buck house is amazing that you can even put a portable crib inside it. Nice added on slide out for the living room and kitchen area make a little more roomy.
This is so clean, inside and out. I like the exterior minimal graphics! Adjustable bed Holy cow. The massive sofa imagine if that were on a slide. It's like an open concept home. OMG okay, okay... that is a surprise, this is pretty cool indeed. That slide where the bunks are, I wonder if that could be converted to a storage area for bikes or kayaks. Maybe a door where the front window is located to access. My parents had this brand rv when we camped.
I love the design! A couple of things I would change would be to replace the stove with a cooktop and add a drawer dishwasher. I done have a need for a bunk room but a craft space is high on my list so I would remove the bunks, add a longer table and make the storage more usable.
That may be my favorite floor plan I have ever seen. I hope some of the more premium lines bring that same floor plan as well as the windows!! That would be incredible!!
That bunk room is awesome!! The switch for the bed needs to be within reach of the bed or a wireless remote. I can see myself using a broom handle to lower the bed after watching TV so I don’t have to get up.
One of the best layouts I seen with one consern that you mentioned, the dining area hope they have other options. And Yes the hidden room is amazing. It does offer other uses.
What a really cool RV!! That bunk room is so unique! Really cool. Kids would love that, I know if I was still a kid I would make that my clubhouse for my sister and I lol!
Or my thought is when the occasionally want to come or the grandkids do… the stage I am at… the youngest one is still in high school but I am getting grandkids …
This is a really nice Towable travel trailer. Not sure if it's the camera set up, but cupboards look wide. Elegant styling. Smartly designed. Love the hidden room. But no big TV in the living room!
I can honestly not think of anything that they could have done better in this floorplan. I love that it only has one slide. The bunk room could be used as an office, a dog room, a craft room, or as the intended kid room. The windows blow my mind. You get all of that counter space, W&D hookups, plenty of storage, the moving master bed, all while leaving the camp side of the rv unobstructed by a side! It is actually unbelievable. This is going to take the industry by storm!
Wow! Now that is a genius floor plan! If we weren't heading out of needing bunks, this one would be the one to have. I do love all the big windows. That is what ours is missing right now. Ours is dark on the inside because we have small windows and not many of them.
The floor plan is a game changer and i like the curved cut out where the bathroom door is. I'm wondering if it's much harder to keep cool with that amount of window coverage though.
I LOVE it! I think it would be great as a fifth wheel with the slide out bed and that huge closet but I'd take it as is if I was in the market right now.
I love the design (except the king bed), but they went cheap on everything. Plastic kitchen sink, wood frame, no drawers in the bathroom, and you didn't mention if the toilet was plastic or porcelain, but it looks plastic too. I would love to see this design in a better built unit.
This is definitely a lower cost value oriented unit. This isn't supposed to compete against higher priced more luxurious units. I think the main focus is getting a family into something with the space, the ergonomics, and the design that they're looking for.
What about a big counter extension on the end by the sink for the option of a 2 person eating table so you CAN face each other if you want. Then, if that worked, you can add a small dishwasher under the back counter. Also the option of NOT having the fold down bunk. A lot more room for an only child or just a couples rv.
This is great; so much going on. Most bunk house units fail if you want to watch a movie as a family while all sitting comfortably. Five will fit nicely onto the couch for movie time at night or with bad weather. Don’t care to split up on the couch and dinette as the dinette won’t be as comfortable. The kitchen stools are great, only 4, but works when the weather is bad and your inside for a quick meal. When we camp, we try to eat outside most of the time anyways. The bunk room is great but could use some improvements. Don’t care for the bunk on the floor but get there is limited height on a slide. The strap that holds the upper bunk seems worrisome. The storage bins are great. The adjustable master bed is great as well. We get all the fit and finish concerns and have our own concerns; however, I can see this layout being done by other brands in the near future. This will hopefully give the market this floor plan at different price points and quality levels helping to get more people out camping within their budgets! Feel like a 10 year seeing this secret bunk room!
Pretty ingenious floorplan. Quality of construction looked a little iffy. Briefly caught a glimpse of part of you in mirror in bedroom. Never would have guessed you as a hat on backwards guy...lol
I really like it!! We have been looking to replace our 2006 camper. The only thing that would have made this better is a slide out in the bedroom. But that bunk house is super cool, hidden and outta the way, nice. Thanks
I can see this working for me as a couples unit and using the slide out for the grandkids or perhaps a non-paying couple coming with us. I’d probably use it for storage the rest of the time. What makes this unit really great are the amount and size of the windows and the floorplan itself. I like the fact that you have a large couch that sits squarely in the middle of the tv viewing area. Usually when they put in these long couches they extend well into the kitchen and you can’t see the tv. The raised bed is nice, but they should put a second power switch for the bed next to the bed so you don’t have to get out of bed to lower or raise it. I like that they put a closet for a stackable w/d, and that they added the counter and stools in the kitchen since there’s no dinette. What I don’t like is the pads on wooden benches for a couch. It provides great storage and looks nice, but it doesn’t look comfortable at all! I also don’t like the plastic sink in the kitchen or the plastic toilet. The plastic sink in the bath is okay. Don’t really care for the shower door thing, but having a radius door is nice. I would rather have the bathroom cabinet extend wall to wall instead of leaving the gap for a stool, trash or toilet paper rack. Also don’t care for the tires or no ladder, although that’s not really a big deal, but there’s really no space to carry one of those extend-a-ladders in the exterior storage. It looks like they did everything they could to make a cheap trailer, but put in a cool floorplan and dressed it up to look nice. I’d be interested to see the price on this unit. It’s a Forest River product, but Salem tt are typically a more entry level trailer, so wonder if they’ll ask a premium on it because of the cool factor, or if they’ll price it in line with a fairly entry level fiberglass trailer?
This would be great for those of us who don’t always have kids with us. I only have one child still in high school out of our 5 children, and 3 grandkids. I wouldn’t always have kids with but when I do they aren’t in the living room or have a whole bedroom that’s rarely used
Very cool and unique! Lots to like about this floor plan. One downside is that with a rear kitchen your dishes tend to bounce more going down the road compared to a mid kitchen. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely an annoyance when you get to your destination and your dish wear needs repositioned in all your cabinets. Also can damage none plastic items. But overall very cool!
I really love this overall. Curious what the black panel is to the right of the oven? Does it come in other interior colors or just the one? I would turn the bunkhouse into a walk-in closet since there really isn't any hanging closet space once you add the washer/dryer, so can it be ordered without the wall bed (and preferably w/o the windows on that side wall? The window next to the front door seems unnecessary also as the space would be better utilized for coat hooks and a shoe rack else, where are you putting your coat when you come in-esp in winter/rain? I'd guess the fold down counter in the kitchen could be kept down to allow a place for a trash can as there isn't a space for that. Personally, for me, there are too many windows. I'd rather have more cabinetry and storage options than windows as windows lose a lot of heat/cooling when trying to control the temperature and in some spots in this rig, the wall space would be more useful, esp by the front door. The overall concept though is one of the best I've seen. Side thought, with the pass-through being under the bed, in winter, are you freezing in bed there with so little insulated space below you?
I'll have 2 More View floorplans, that also have insane secrets, coming soon!
Thanks for reviewing this new line up
This is nice, but is there going to be one with a bedroom style bunk house?
Fantastic! I really liked this floor plan. I’m curious what the others will be.
I really like this floor plan. The hidden bunkhouse is a perfect space for a home office.
I love seeing RV manufacturers trying something new. Thanks for sharing this.
That hidden bunk room with desk is a game changer! I never thought I would even consider a travel trailer until I saw this model. We're probably still gonna go with a dual suite fifth wheel, but this has turned my head and provided provocative options! 😊
this is me exactly!
What a great way of adding a bunk house without adding length or taking away from the living space or bathroom space. I absolutely love it. The bunk house also makes a great office space.
This is definitely a game changer I can deal without a table but it's perfect for the rainy days at camp everyone can sit and watch a movie
What would make the hidden space even more amazing is an option to replace the large window on the bunkhouse slide with a door for access for loading / unloading gear. I could see using that space to store bikes, coolers, fishing rods, etc.
That's what toy haulers are for
I will agree with you.
I love when a manufacturer comes up with something new and innovative instead of the same old cookie cutter designs. Nice job Salem!
A cool concept with that bunk area. One question I'm wondering is are any of the windows in that slide an emergency exit? I wouldn't put my kids in that space if there's no way to get out if a fire happens in the main living space.
Yes the main window in the slide out is an emergency exit. The window on the side of the slide is huge and opens right up.
We absolutely love this Floorplan! The view lives up to the name! Thanks JD
Best part of the RV is finally seeing you in the reflections, me and the wife always look to see if we can catch your face in the reflections, and this video was the best yet!! Lol great video btw.
That hidden bunk slide is super cool!
I think this floor plan is fantastic. Thank you for highlighting it in a video.
Awesome 3 Zoner!
❤Snuggle couch living room lounger
❤️Kitchen @ eating bar
❤The Bed Room tilting bed & bathroom
I love this camper! The hidden room for kids is awesome! The couch is huge! Looks great!
Amazing!!!! This is probably the very best travel trailer ever made. Couldn't even compare this to your girlfriend trying on a different t-shirt and asking you if it looks better than her other t-shirt. I'm sure the build quality isn't poo like EVERY other travel trailer ever made either.
😂 this.
Brinkley or some other high quality builder will do something similar hopefully.
Hi! This is a very cool model. We have a Salem Cruise Lite, and we love it! Forest River really has the floor plan thing down! I like that this model has more storage than the Cruise Lite. No other floor plan will do now, Very nice. I also love that the kitchen is not in the couch space and no awful table and bench combo.
That is so cool. Any kid would love having their own hidden space!
I absolutely LOVED THIS! I WAS SHOCKED! That bunkhouse is such an amazing idea
As an option, instead of the bunk house is having a large outside swing up door to store and hall bikes, canoe, kayaks, fishing poles, etc.
I agree on your idea for bikes etc. Before I read your comment my suggestion was option without the slide....boost fresh water to 75, 90, 100 gallons and black to 40, 45.......maybe offer this in a 30 foot instead of 34'
I was thinking the same thing!!
Perfect !! Just what I would want to go full time !!
Hidden Buck house is amazing that you can even put a portable crib inside it. Nice added on slide out for the living room and kitchen area make a little more roomy.
Amazing layout
Finally a floor plan that would be perfect for my family of 4!!

This is by far one of the coolest bunkbed pull behind camper's
I love the design! A couple of things I would change would be to replace the stove with a cooktop and add a drawer dishwasher. I done have a need for a bunk room but a craft space is high on my list so I would remove the bunks, add a longer table and make the storage more usable.
Only way I see this could be better is if the bunk room could fit all 3 of my kids. I love it.
That may be my favorite floor plan I have ever seen. I hope some of the more premium lines bring that same floor plan as well as the windows!! That would be incredible!!
Thats pretty awesome! Our kids would love something like that. It really is a secret little room. Kids are going to go wild for that
That bunk room is awesome!! The switch for the bed needs to be within reach of the bed or a wireless remote. I can see myself using a broom handle to lower the bed after watching TV so I don’t have to get up.
This would’ve been perfect for my family when we were looking. Wow!

What a really cool RV!! That bunk room is so unique! Really cool. Kids would love that, I know if I was still a kid I would make that my clubhouse for my sister and I lol!
I like this a lot, can see the wife and I with this once the kid grows up and use the bunk room as a spare room.
I was wondering about the no big TV in living room as well.
Well, I certainly wasn't expecting that bunk room.
But love it!
I figured we'd see a Murphy bunk come down .
Love this concept ❤️
U slipping with your recording.. saw you in mirror in bedroom and reflection in outside storage door.😅
And microwave
Awesome floorplan and, as usual, fantastic/informative video
I can't wait till some of my favorite youtubers buy one and decorate it.
Love the hide away bunk room. This camper is up my alley, but i never caught the price and I watched it twice.
I love this one! That hidden bunkhouse is awesome.
Amazing layout, can't wait to see the other videos. Thanks again.
Absolutely love it! I can't upgrade trucks, but I love it.
Very unique!
One thing to mention the griddle outside also has a grate to be used as a grill too
some really great ideas. much better thinking then most camper layouts.
Wow! Now that is a genius floor plan! If we weren't heading out of needing bunks, this one would be the one to have. I do love all the big windows. That is what ours is missing right now. Ours is dark on the inside because we have small windows and not many of them.
I travel with my 11 year old granddaughter and this would be a great room for her
I would have loved that secret room as a kid!
Very nice layout for a pull behind.
❤❤ absolutely love the hidden room
The floor plan is a game changer and i like the curved cut out where the bathroom door is. I'm wondering if it's much harder to keep cool with that amount of window coverage though.
Coolest bunk house I have ever seen. My 13yo would love the secret bunk
This was a crazy original layout
Pretty cool design.
This game is awesome and amazing ... I can't wait to see more 🎉
I wish the bunk area was a bit bigger so it could be turned into an office. This floorplan is pretty amazing, but I'd never end up using that space.
You could always make it a library instead. Books, dvds, records whatever. Or a collectibles room.
You actually could use it as an office. That’s my thought when grandkids or kids are not with me.
I LOVE it! I think it would be great as a fifth wheel with the slide out bed and that huge closet but I'd take it as is if I was in the market right now.
Love this! The only thing I missed is whether or not there is some kind of winterization upgrade or something.
Lovely model for families, nice coach
I love it❤️ as you it blew me away!
I agree, but I don't understand why the higher-end units don't have these great designs without steeping up to a fifth wheel.
What about a big counter extension on the end by the sink for the option of a 2 person eating table so you CAN face each other if you want. Then, if that worked, you can add a small dishwasher under the back counter. Also the option of NOT having the fold down bunk. A lot more room for an only child or just a couples rv.
Hidden room is genius!
Love the hidden room. Great little camper. Should be a big hit!
Pretty wild design!
Bunk room perfect for my dos, cats and baby tortoise. Wish it had a pet door in the door to the bunk room.
This is great; so much going on. Most bunk house units fail if you want to watch a movie as a family while all sitting comfortably. Feel like a 10 year seeing this secret bunk room!
My jaw dropped when I saw that hidden room!
Awesome floorplan, if they could somehow fit a third bunk in the bunk room I'd buy one today.
Nice! I like it. Shower without that stupid useless "seat"... good storage, lots of light!
This is the coolest RV!! Love the bunk house!! Does the couch become a bed by any chance? Love this RV!!
I really like this floor plan!
It's quite brilliant.
This would be great for those of us who don’t always have kids with us. I only have one child still in high school out of our 5 children, and 3 grandkids. I wouldn’t always have kids with but when I do they aren’t in the living room or have a whole bedroom that’s rarely used
Really like the general floor plan. You could have this without the slide/bunks and it would be perfect for me.
Love that floor plan! Always heard Forest River rv’s were cheaply made.
very nice for a a young family. I wonder what the weight that bunk can hold and how long?
Does that bunkroom have ac ducted into it at all? I can imagine it getting pretty toasty in there with the door closed.
I saw a vent up in the space where a tv could be placed.
@@aubieal0878that looked like a heating vent though… didn’t look like a typical AC vent.
I need this camper!!!
That bed is an awesome plus I need to install a nice bed where I can move my bed like that
I really love this overall. 👍👍Excellent change to the beginning part of your video where you gave most of the important specs.
That's really cool a different way to do a bunkhouse
Thanks for the review!!! Would this be suitable for extreme cold temperatures?
I’m loving this!! I’d like to know what Rv if you could only pick one you’d recommend for full time living?
Cool layout
That is really cool something I'd buy for my kids. Wonder if they would deliver to new Zealand 😆
