The Yoshimura R55 can on my new GSX-R600 bike. Can't decide whether to turn the bike into a track bike or not, comments would be appreciated :) Ride Safe!
Yeah it was, removing it definitely helped make it sound better but would have really needed a decat system to sound epic. But I was planning on use it as a daily rider so didn’t want it insanely loud lol
@@DaveRebuilds i just got one for my 07 gixxer and keep thinking i made a mistake. Coming from Two Brothers and Akrapovic i think this is going to be too silent and “stocky”.. i like deep “bassy” sound on a bike not a screaming high pitch one. Need to research on what exactly a decat means when it comes to r55?! One thing for sure: you are the only one in the world who lucked out on that carbon fiber heat sink and i can’t figure that part out ever : )
@@ivanzivojinovic1606 ah I prefer the higher pitch screams on a super bike rather than a throaty pitch. Pretty sure any decat pipe would work just as long as the pipe diameter is the same 👍🏻 yeah the carbon layer is pretty cool, surprised they don’t still make it tho? I have a s1000rr now, with an Austin racing exhaust, it screams like a banshee when under load 😂👍🏻
@@DaveRebuilds does decat for R55 means removing the Yoshi original mid pipe or not necessarily ? I think my exup valve (perhaps cat as well) is gone as far as my headers go(have two bros one). Not sure where is the cat supposed to be on R55 pipes?
@@ivanzivojinovic1606 if I remember right, the cat is at the bottom of the headers, it’s a pretty chunky box that sits around the belly pan. I’m surprised if u have that removed already the bike isn’t a good bit louder tho, maybe change the headers??
