The devil know's your weaknesses. Some people leave them selves open to devil, some people refuse to repent. A girl I once knew in 1998, was involved in church that taught traditions of men. In 2004 she left message on answering machine, it was vulgar, threats, and her voice changed to masculine voice. Point is, this demonic possession is slowly destroying her. Jesus gave you power over satan and demons, Luke 10:19. Some people leave themselves open to demonic spirits. Your spiritual condition is important to God. God tells us in leviticus chapter 19, stay away from the occult, familiar spirits, wizards, oujie boards. @ 40:50 Prayer to forgive wrong motives on past offerings (known or unknown). I have struggled with offerings because I simply didn't know what an offering was for and people just say everything except explain what an offering is for. And i notice that newer pastors have abandoned keeping prayers over the offering and fail to bless the giver. Sometimes I have felt reluctant, but couldn't understand why. I thought it was something God required by the way it gets taught. I had no clue how to see/present my offerings.

There were two Moravian missionaries to the West Indies who never sold themselves into slavery nor offered to do so. When asked in court how they intended to support themselves one of them replied, "As slaves among slaves, working alongside". After this was forbidden by the Queen's Chamberlain, permission was granted for them to go and ply their own trade. One of them only stayed a few weeks and returned to Europe. The other stayed in the Caribbean for two years and had some success preaching to the slaves. The truth is not as dramatic as the sermon illustration, but I think it should be told as it really was for the sake of integrity.

As good as it may sound on the lips, no falsehood has any place in the kingdom of heaven. I would counsel caution to anyone listening to this teacher. Thanks for the link and your explanation. I am still a little unclear as to the difference between a seer and a phrophet. Phrophets are acceptable as long as they are not false phrophets but where are seers acceptable in His word. Just wondering bc I do not want to sin accidentally.
Ergo seers are prophets that see in the spirit. Prophets in the OT heard God. It's just the difference between hearing and seeing. Robert isn't suggesting that we seek out seers. He's suggesting we seek Jesus with a friend or leader who has a prophetic gifting. Jesus is the only one that he is consulting.
Read Col. 2:`8-23 The bible is what you should be seeking not man. Why would we need angels when we have the spirit of the LIVING GOD??? These people do not study the word. They are looking for answers in man who is a liar.
Ergo The prophet has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, is born again of the Holy Spirit, and prays in humility for God's wisdom and discernment. The truths will be biblical and given in love for the benefit of the one prayed for. The psychic is a counterfeit that comes from demonic realms. It will have a twist to truth. God seems to hate psychic use more than any other sin. Perhaps because it attempts to obtain forbidden knowledge in forbidden ways that bypass Jesus Christ. Psychic abilities purport to consult with the deceased and "read minds" rather than seeking the Holy Spirit. This is forbidden. A biblical example is King Saul who had a medium conjure up the spitit of Samuel to obtain information. Another is a woman psychic who followed after Paul. He cast the demons out if her, the psychic ability was gone. Other examples are given of demons speaking through people whom Jesus was about to heal. The demons stated who Jesus is. Yet He commanded them to be silent. He would not accept testimony from demons.
In using a prophetic gift, if you have any question that it might be from the occult, pray deeply and humbly. These are days of intense spiritual warfare. The prophetic gifting needs to be submitted to God and as Robert Henderson says, covered with the "blood of Jesus." Do not accept information from psychics, as that creates "itching ears." It never ends and leads one on a rabbit trail of deception. Whereas, the prophetic gifting that comes from the Holy Spirit will have a comforting message for the person on whose behalf you received it to bring that person to a deeper faith, a deepened holiness and can be life-changing as it reveals purpose. The prophetic gifting is far above the psychic. It comes from God. It is bestowed on the receiver to deliver in love. It is open. The psychic gifting comes from controlling desires, forbidden realms, and is sinister and addictive. It cannot satisfy. The Holy Spirit will work with the believer in prayer. Another example in the NT is Simon who tried to buy the gift to use for personal gain. Peter condemned him. If you have any doubt, submit the prophetic gifting to God. It is to be used for the building up and edification of the Body of Christ, not the personal reputation of the person who desires or receives the gift. Finally, the demonic will try to steal the prophetic anointing. It is important to deliver the message only as given, not to add to it and not to attempt to interpret it. The person receiving the message will be convicted by it. While it is a glorious gift, it is better not to use it at all if there is any doubt or question that it is psychic. The prophetic is gifting and anointing from the Holy Spirit. Whereas the psychic is stolen, illegal, and carries a negative or sinister charge. Hope this helps.

I don’t get it. Tithing is Old Covenant Law given to a specific group of people for a very specific purpose. It was not given to all of Israel as some say. It was given to the Israelite's who earned a living from the land farming and to those who raised livestock.
Tithing is an Old Testament principal or law, if you will, that was not followed through into the New Covenant in regards to Gentiles. Acts chapter 15 clearly shows the things required of Gentiles and Tithing is not one of them.
Does this mean we do not give to support Gods work? No! When you give you are planting seed that will give you a harvest. But you are not to give out of “compulsion” but willingly as the Spirit leads. Giving of Tithes and offerings can take on many forms from money or time to things that the Spirit directs you to give.
New Testament Israelite's may well be under this principal yet. Jesus words are taken out of context to guilt New Covenant Gentile Believers into giving.
First off, “who” was Jesus speaking to? Israelite's! He said that he did not come except to the House of Israel. Next, what “time frame” were Jesus words given? The Old Covenant! Jesus lived His whole life “in” the Old Covenant. The New Covenant started at His death and resurrection. Mathew, Mark, Luke and John should be considered Old Covenant books of the Bible. Jesus words were directed to the Israelite's!
Does this mean we, as Gentiles, should disregard the word of Jesus? Heavens no! We are told “all scripture” is good for correction, doctrine etc. and that includes the Old Covenant. But quite taking it out of context and “making it law” now! We are under Gods Grace!
Who was included in the New Covenant when it began? Only the House of Israel! Jesus said again and again that He did not com “except” to the House of Israel! Us Gentiles were adopted into or grafted “into” Israel’s New Covenant with God! If we were in the New Covenant from its beginning we would never have had to be “adopted or grafted” into Israel’s New Covenant with God. Again see Acts chapter 15. It is very clear and very specific. Only those who “choose” to read between the lines will tell you differently, but it is not written otherwise.
I have many Pastors or Preachers, Prophets, Evangelists, etc. that I listen to and think greatly of. “Most” of them preach that we have a legal “responsibility” to “Tithe” to them, their church or organization. Why? Very few teach otherwise. Yet “all” these people teach we are not under Old Covenant Law but Gods Grace! Tithing “is” Old Covenant Law! We are under the Grace of God in the New Covenant.
I would love some clarity on this issue. I do not bring this up in order for us “not to” give. We give every time we feel God direct us to give and most of the time it is “more” than the 10% that we are told that we “owe” God. By the way, from what I read Israel paid closer to one third in Tithing than ten percent.

For salvation, people just need to follow the way they did it in Acts? They were baptized in the water and of the spirit. Here's why! It’s been happening a lot on Christian channels, with an impersonator using the name and photo of a speaker or even the owner of a UA-cam channel, pretending to be that person. The message is always almost identical, with spiritual encouragement and then telling about an orphanage (usually overseas) that needs monetary help. I’ve seen the same message using many names and appearing on many channels: Kim Clement, Lance Wallnau, Dutch Sheets, and many others. Then the “real” person, who usually never asks for money, will remove them if he notices, and sometimes report it or even tell his subscribers to beware. You can tell it’s fake because they have only a few subscribers, if any, and you can check their channel and see that it hasn’t been up very long. Unfortunately, some kind-hearted people have actually sent funds, not realizing it is a money-making scam. Many report it or pray for the person to repent or stop. I’m glad if you didn’t give him any contact information.
