- I made this video to celebrate the life of my horse, Frankie. He was a character and everyone who knew him was better because of it. He didn’t always make my life easy but he definitely made me a better person in his time with us. He will be loved and missed forever.

Thank you for being there for Frankie. You gave me an amazing but sad idea for a beloved horse at my non profit therapy organization. This horse survived Katrina and moved to Texas. Everyone at my barn has ridden him at least once and love him to death. He is getting old but still loves his few riders. He is a flexible horse: protective of young riders, teaches beginners, but feisty and hardheaded for experienced and older riders. He taught me to dodge headbutts, hang on jumping water crossings (western rider), patience, and love. His name is Poncho and I love him.

He was very lucky to have you, Stephanie. I alway enjoyed watching the kids ride him and all his Shenanigans out in the pasture. Making that decision must have been heart-wrenching. It is one of the worst parts of loving an animal. Franky will definitely be missed by all who knew him and all of us who watch your vlogs! ❤😢

I’m so sorry Fronkie passed. He was quite the character and i know that not a soul in the barn will forget him. I always love going back and watching videos of Frankie and his journey with you since I’ve found out that he passed. Frankie was a gift, and I hope that no one took that for granted. I’m so glad that you got so many lessons out of him and I’m so happy that Frankie was part of other riders journeys. One of my favorite moments in your about my horses video was when Frankie was able to do little cross rails. It really showed that he tried for the littles, even the most experienced riders too. May he rest in peace. 🤍🕊️🫶

Here is a little story:
so, I once had a horse named Dusty and he was a lovely buckskin. He would go on trail rides with me and we would take him to the the beach, and he was the sweetest. But one week everything changed and I never knew what it was….
Well. One day, we were tacking up and going to practice barrels and train. Well, when I was hood picking him, he bucked and gave me a black eye, which he would never hurt a FLY. So, I just shook it off and led him to the arena. My friends Hailey and Sailor came with me as well for support, but they were just sitting so they could help since this wasn’t normal. He then went around the 2nd barrel and started spooking, he would do that but he only did it when something popped out at him. He then bucked me 3 more times and reared 7 times, in counting.
After training , we just were leading some horses to the pasture so we could bring the lesson horses in for the lesson kids coming a few minutes later. I took Dusty out to the pasture so he wouldn’t get a lesson kid because he was in a mood.
Once we were to the pasture, since it was a rainy day, he would not get in the pasture. He would NOT.
He started pulling on the lead rope and started kicking the gate and almost kicked a different horse.
For some reason , a little girl said “I want to ride Dusty!” When I told her he was being feisty.
She continued to day that and complain while her mother was telling her
“Sweetheart, the horsy is being a little frustrating right now, so we can’t
ride him. You can ride Dixie!” *a kinder horse in the moment* once she
got tacked up, she started riding and I heard some kicking noises. When I
asked my friend Sailor to train her, I looked all around the barn to see what was
Happening and it’s was dusty kicking the gate and suddenly he kicked a pony in a
Smaller pasture.
