They divided it up multiple ways such as gambling for it, sharing it in sales, or taking turns on key drops. The point is there was always a way to share among them in some form. This behavior is stupid of Katie. You can't tell me you couldn't talk to SoBad and find some way to come to an agreement.

Looting the deathbloom asap is ideal, but the ranger mid fight with a rogue still active on your teammate is a horrible decision that indicates a greedy play style and unreliable teammate

I have had teammates, who I revive in crypts. We go down to Inferno, the person I revived will solo wipe a team with a unique or really BIS gear, and still split huge loads or items because of the previous area because “They wouldn’t have been able to do that without me there.” This is terrible.

I had a narcissist friend who used to play games with. They never did anything wrong, always deserved the best loot, was first to loot kills even if it wasnt their kill, and always ran away from fights never supporting us the team. in dark and darker, if the class you kill is someones class in your team, they get the loot. There is rarely a "i got the kill" like there is in tarkov, because it's much more team based, you have support roles and you dont run one clip someone to the head before your teammates have even realised a player was there. (usually)

depends on the situation, sometimes it can be okay to quickly slurp up loot to stop the looters from getting it, but they have solved a lot of these issues with the matchmaking changes anyway.
I don't think there's a reason to put a negative spin on her looting either body. You've gotta be quick precisely because someone might show up, and they did. But I think that between friends and teammates they should share the loot. With a super rare, high level weapon like that, you'd probably have to give something of half of the equal value. The way that she talked down to him afterwards shows how much of a shameless asshole she is though.

I have had teammates, who I revive in crypts. We go down to Inferno, the person I revived will solo wipe a team with a unique or really BIS gear, and still split huge loads or items because of the previous area because “They wouldn’t have been able to do that without me there.” This is terrible.

Katie's response to him suggest splitting is so cringe. She shouldnt have even been looting the ranger that didnt have the deathbloom. That is a red flag right there for me. You dont loot mid fight like that especially if your teammate is at 30% health, and just called ANOTHER squad down the hall. If looting midfight and ratting away is CARRYING then stay off my team.
I am not for witch hunts but just hope she gets bad karma in game and finds a hard time finding squads to play with.

or

Yea and when he and Endboss got the Xerxes Endboss insisted on giving him half the worth but he refused and pointed out that Endboss has given him way more in worth over the time they played together. Which is completely true Endboss always has given in when there was better loot and had supplied him with plenty of gear. The Xerxes was the first time Endboss ever got to keep the highest end loot when they played together.

I had a narcissist friend who used to play games with. They never did anything wrong, always deserved the best loot, was first to loot kills even if it wasnt their kill, and always ran away from fights never supporting us the team.

Every team is different. When i play with my friends we share. If we all agree something is more useful for one person or another, then it goes to them. Playing with my friends is more important than any piece of kit or gold in the stash. I would rather play solo or with randoms than play with someone like that

A lot of people play whoever gets the kill gets the loot. How most people do it in tarkov.
I do think this is def a split situation though.
in dark and darker, if the class you kill is someones class in your team, they get the loot. There is rarely a "i got the kill" like there is in tarkov, because it's much more team based, you have support roles and you dont run one clip someone to the head before your teammates have even realised a player was there. (usually)

Late response, but this seems like yeah she did do well. Shes just only looking at herself and ignoring what he did. And even then, you're a team. If you dont want to split with a person dont team up? You go into the game as a team, its not a solo run.
Looting while ur team is fighting is a sure fire way for me to teamkill you and never play with you again
depends on the situation, sometimes it can be okay to quickly slurp up loot to stop the looters from getting it, but they have solved a lot of these issues with the matchmaking changes anyway.
I don't think there's a reason to put a negative spin on her looting either body. You've gotta be quick precisely because someone might show up, and they did. But I think that between friends and teammates they should share the loot. With a super rare, high level weapon like that, you'd probably have to give something of half of the equal value. The way that she talked down to him afterwards shows how much of a shameless asshole she is though.

Katie 100% in the wrong. In other games, "Combat Looting" was against guild, if you combat loot, you are either healing up, or you're getting hit by your own team mates for "Combat Looting". If you do it and it costs us a Loss, you are disowned. Simple.

everyone should ratio katie. this is pure bs and in any team/trio situation all loots are divided unless otherwise specified (example given: bossing and everyone gets 1 specific pick of a unique they want if it drops, but even then they can do coin splits by giving the other 2 1/3 of its value or just a nice amount of gp to compensate since uniques can vary hard on specific prices) this is the most pathetic rat thing to do, and no1 should ever duo with her.
