Given I know what people say about ace people (am ace as well), and that she said it makes her want to "throw up a little bit", yeah I think so. Only other thing I could think of is the thinly veiled references she has had to having disabilities or something similar (don't know if she has ever outright said it), because what disabled people hear from others is often equally awful.
@@GroundHOG-2010 Weird. Who would harrass someone who's asexual, and why? I mean I get the place where the degeneracy of homophobes come from, but hate against aces? They are literally not doing anything.
@@groerhahn225 Funnily enough, some at least comes from the same sort of reasoning you get from homophobes ("someone couldn't really feel that way", "it's just someone trying to be special", "you just need someone to fix you", etc) or often it gets pushed as a sign that there must be some kind of degeneracy but you are trying to hide it. There are also parents who want you to have kids or mental health professionals that take it as something to fix (leading to the one example I heard of which was someone being told to go have sex with a firefighter, because that would "fix them"), and of course people who want to have sex with an asexual person using basically the "but you haven't been with me, having sex with me would fix you" sort of line. Oh and LGBT+ people who think you are somehow damaging the cause or something. The reality of the world is people care that people do the "right" things than whether someone is actually harming anyone with their actions or lack of actions. And if someone is not playing the romance/sex game because they don't have those sorts of attractions, you better believe they aren't doing the "right" things.
Just want to say Rin is such a cool dude and has a great personality
:)
Rin says human rights. And I agree fully.
Im really happy that Rin got me into the rabbit hole
Rin being extremly valid

"People like me" Is she talking about aces there?
I assume so, considering she just confirmed it a few minutes before this clip.
Probably just lgbt people as a whole. The bigotry is insane

One question, Rin:
What do British people call cigarettes?
(I'm glad they said this though, I just think it's funny)
I'm british and it's still cigarettes. A cigarette is a tiny cigar
So can we laugh at the Brit’s still?
Different reasons for different brits, but all of them are fair game to be laughed at
Cmon dude, it's 2024. British are people too now. I think.
